And that wishful thinking I have, is that Henry Cavil would portray Roboute Guilliman. Surprised?
Since the original trailer dropped we all collectively have had the same idea. Bobby G is awake and somewhere in the galaxy during the plot of the game and it's GW's big opportunity to have the only known living loyalist Primarch appear "on screen".
It would truly be a wasted opportunity if Rowboat Guillisuit did not appear. Especially since Titus has crossed the Rubicon to become Primaris which the Primarch decreed necessary for First-Born. Thematically, it's a story telling must.
I was re-watching the dev update trailer and had an idea. The MO-cap part got me thinking... Not only is this Bobert's time to appear, but a Hollywood or more mainstream celebrity could play him. No offense to the Chap playing Titus this time. He'll be great.
Its becoming a common practice these days to bring in some star-power to promote the game as you would a tv show or movie. Cyberpunk with Keanu Reeves and Death Stranding with Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen. I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of. Hell, Mark Strong played Titus in the first game.
Cavil is a logical choice for the role in my opinion. They would be hard pressed to find another A-list celeb as familiar with or as passionate about the lore of 40k as he. A strike against might be he might be picky about who he plays for the first time.
