Inside Xbox: Live @ Gamescom

  • New trailer for Blair Witch shown. Developed by Bloober Team and Published by Lionsgate Games. Releasing on August 30th, 2019.
  • More than 22 games added to Xbox Game Pass PC since E3.
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Ape Out, Bard's Tale 4, Blair Witch coming to Xbox Game Pass (both PC and console) later.
  • Age of Empires: Definitive Edition coming to Game Pass for PC and Steam today.
  • Stellaris and Devil May Cry V coming to Xbox Game Pass for console today.
  • New free DLC for Human Fall Flat coming on August 27th, 2019.
  • Wololo! Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition coming to PC (Microsoft Store and Steam) and Game Pass for PC on November 14th, 2019. 25% discount for owners of Age of Empires 2 HD on Steam.
  • New trailer for Gears Pop! shown. Available on August 22nd, 2019. Available on Android, iOS and Windows 10. Is free to play and supports cross save with all 3 platforms.
  • NBA 2K20 Story trailer shown. Apparently its produced by Lebron James and Hollywood People(?). Also stars some famous actors like Rosario Dawson and Thomas Middleditch. Also, a short interview with a Basketball Player (I'm sorry I'm not a Basketball guy, so I don't know his name).
  • Trailer for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint 'Ghost Wars 4v4' mode shown. Game launches on October 4th, 2019.
  • Interview with Randy Varnell, Managing Producer of Narrative at Gearbox. Borderlands 3 is a continuation of the story of the previous Borderlands games. Biggest Borderlands game to date. Launches on September 13th.
  • Trailer for PUBG Season 4 shown. Launches August 27th. Cross platform play for consoles coming in late September/early October.
  • Trailer for Wasteland 3 shown. Developed by InXile and Published by Deep Silver.
  • 2 new controller colours revealed.
  • Trailer for Empire of Sin shown. Developed by Romero Games and Published by Paradox Interactive. Coming in Spring 2020. Interview with Brenda Romero and John Romero.
  • Trailer for Vigor shown. Developed and Published by Bohemia Interactive. Is Free to Play.
  • Interview with Aaron Greenberg, GM of Xbox Marketing. XO19 will take place at London and starts on the 14th of November (3 days long). Tickets go on sale on the 24th of September.
  • Trailer for Greedfall shown. Developed by Spiders and Published by Focus Home Interactive. Releases on 10th September, 2019.
  • Trailer for The Surge 2 shown. Developed by Deck 13 and Published by Focus Home Interactive. Releases on 24th September, 2019.
  • Interview with Bungie devs. Info about Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. I'd summarise it but since I don't know anything about Destiny, I don't understand what they're saying, sorry. Releases on 1st October, 2019.
  • Trailer for the DLC of Metro: Exodus, 'Two Colonels' shown. Releases tomorrow.
  • Metro: 2033, Metro: Last Light and Metro: Exodus are all available on Xbox Game Pass.
  • Trailer shown for Gears 5: Horde Mode. (When did they change the name of the franchise from Gears of War to just Gears?) Information about the Horde mode revealed and interview with the devs.
  • Gears 5 releases on 6th September, 2019 on Game Pass Ultimate and 10th September on Microsoft Store and Steam.
  • Limited Edition Gears 5 themed Xbox One X shown, along with other limited edition Gears 5 themed peripherals from Microsoft, Razer and Seagate. Looks amazing if I say so myself. Also, limited edition tie-in apparel revealed.
  • Halo: Reach Character Pack for Gears 5 shown.
  • Sad wololo, no news on Age of Empires IV.

Stadia Connect

  • Described by Google as a "New Generation gaming platform where you can buy the Games you want and play them across your favourite screens".
  • Games can be played on TV, Desktop, Laptop and select Tablets and phones at the highest available graphical settings and framerates.
  • Games can be played at 4K without the need for downloads, patches or installs or the need for expensive hardware.
  • To play Stadia, the Stadia Founders Edition is required, which can be pre-ordered today for 129 USD. It comes with 3 months of Stadia Pro for a user and their friend, a Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra. It will also come with Destiny 2 and all it's DLC.
  • Stadia has received "Fantastic response so far, and is sold out in many countries".

Games coming to Stadia:

  • Gods and Monsters. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec and Published by Ubisoft.
  • Cyberpunk 2077. Developed and Published by CD Projekt RED. More information and details about Cyberpunk 2077 in general revealed. "Coming soon to Stadia" (so not on release day?). Dev Diary.
  • Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Coming Fall 2019.
  • Kine. It is a 3D puzzle-platformer. No release date, again said to be "coming soon to Stadia".
  • Darksiders: Genesis.
  • Orcs Must Die 3. Developed by Robot Entertainment. Exclusive to Stadia. The devs tried Stadia in January 2018 and 'got the same feeling as when the iPhone released'. Dev diary.
  • Windjammers 2. Developed by Dotemu.
  • Destroy All Humans!. Developed by Black Forest Games and Published by THQNordic.
  • Mortal Kombat 11. Developed by NetherRealm and published by Warner Brothers Games. Coming to Stadia in November. Dev Diary.
  • Superhot. Developed by Superhot team. 'Mind Control Delete Standalone Bonus Disk' revealed. Coming soon.
  • Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition. Developed by 3Giants Software.
  • Samurai Shodown.
  • GRID. Developed and Published by Codemasters.
  • Doom Eternal. Developed by ID Software and Published by Bethesda Software.
  • Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. I know nothing about this game apart from that it is extremely Japanese.
  • The Elder Scrolls: Online.
  • Borderlands 3. Developed by Gearbox and Published by 2K Games. (Can someone tell me the name of the song they used in the trailer?)
  • WatchDogs Legion. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Published by Ubisoft. More details about the game and its 'play as any character' system shown. Releases on March 6th, 2020.

Gamescom: Opening Night Live

  • TIL Geoff is pronounced as 'Jeff' not joff.
  • Story trailer for Gears 5 shown. 4K 60 FPS on Xbox One X. Rod and Geoff talk about Horde mode and as far as I can tell its the same info revealed in the Inside Xbox Stream. Gears 5 won the Gamescom award for 'Best Xbox Game'.
  • Geoff says they have "Brand new stuff that hasn't leaked anywhere". Jason Schreier must be on leave.
  • Reveal trailer and Gameplay trailer for Comanche shown. Developed by Nukklear and Published by THQNordic.
  • DCL The Game. Developed by Climax studios and published by THQNordic.
  • Gameplay trailer for Need For Speed: Heat shown. Developed by Ghost Games and Published by EA. NFS: Heat Studio app announced. Allows you to customise cars and keep them ready for launch. Its available rn and the game comes out on November 8th. (IMO looks very interesting, check out the trailer, it might be a return to form for NFS)
  • Kerbal Space Program 2. Developed by Star theory and Published by Private Division. coming in 2020. Ngl, that trailer looked sick af.
  • Little Nightmares II. Developed by Tarsier Studios and Published by Bandai Namco. Coming in 2020. More details revealed in an interview with Geoff by one of the devs.
  • Media Molecule won Best Original Game and Best Playstation 4 Game for Dreams.
  • Gameplay trailer for Predator: Hunting Grounds shown. Developed by Illfonic and Published by SIE. Releases in 2020. Exclusive to PS4 and is a Multiplayer game.
  • Trailer shown for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Developed and Published by Capcom. Its an expansion pack to Monster Hunter World. Releases on September 6th, 2019.
  • The Cycle. Developed and Published by Yager. Its a PvE and a PvP and a PvEvP game. Early Access starts today. Available on EGS. Yager is 'taking a lot of risk' with this title.
  • Trailer shown for Life is Strange Season 2 Episode 4. Developed by Dontnod and Published by Square Enix. Releases on 22nd August, 2019.
  • Geoff receives a text informing him that Kojima has entered the building. Loud cheering ensues. If Kojima was a rapper Geoff would be his hype-man.
  • Humankind. Developed by Amplitude Studios and Published by Sega. Coming in 2020.
  • Geoff interviews Borderlands 3 dev and they talk about the story, endgame, new modes, gameplay and other new stuff.
  • Everspace 2. Developed and Published by Rockfish Games. Coming in 2021.
  • The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch. Developed and Published by CD Projekt RED. Releases on 15th October, 2019.
  • FIFA 20. Volta Football Mode revealed. Releases on 19th September, 2019 for EA Access and Origin Access and 27th September, 2019 for everyone else.
  • Disintegration. From the co-creator of Halo and Developed by V1 Interactive and Published by Private Division. Coming in 2020. Geoff interviews the Dev and reveals more information about the game. Coming in 2020.
  • Darksiders: Genesis. Developed by Airship Syndicate and Published by THQNordic.
  • Gylt. Developed by Tequila Works. It is a launch title and exclusive for Stadia.
  • Nintendo wins best Nintendo Game for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
  • New trailer for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep shown and Geoff interviews the devs.
  • Remothered: Broken Porcelein. Developed by Stormmind Games and Published by Modus. Coming in 2020.
  • Trailer for the Epic Games Store shows off the upcoming games that'll be available on the EGS.
  • Geoff interviews the devs of Magic The Gathering: Arena and a streamer/influencer who plays the game. The game releases Winter 2019.
  • Sony acquires Insomniac. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?????????????????????????? Wow, that's huge!
  • Erica: An Interactive Thriller. Developed by Flavourworks and Published by SIE. Its a live action choose your own path type game. It releases today. Geoff interviews the lead actress and the dev.
  • HOLY SHIT! FARMING SIMULATOR LEAGUE, BEST COMPETITIVE GAME EVA /s. Even Geoff couldn't keep it together while announcing it lol. But seriously, this is kinda awesome.
  • Saboton is playing at Gamesom and they're collaboration with Wargames on a new hack and slash RPG game called Pagan Online.
  • 3 DLCs announced for Anno 1800 by Ubisoft. You can play it for free till August 25th.
  • Port Royale 4 announced.
  • Iron Harvest 1920+ announced. Developed by King Art Games. Releases on 1st September, 2020.
  • Other Gamescom Award winners announced.
  • Geoff interviews Infinity Ward dev and he reveals more information about multiplayer. COD Modern Warfare will have Crossplay with PC and Consoles. Open 2v2 Alpha starts this Friday on PS4. Trailer for this mode is shown.
  • Kojima hype trailer shown.
  • Standing Ovation for Hideo Kojima. Kojima says its been 5 years since he came to Gamescom. People flock towards the stage to take selfies with Kojima. Kojima says game is in 'final crunch' phase of development and that he shouldn't be at Gamescom but he came for the fans.
  • Character trailer for 'Mama' shown. Kojima says it's the introduction cutscene for Mama and she is played by Margaret Qualley. Reveals more info about the character and its just as weird as you'd expect.
  • Character trailer for 'Bridge Baby' and 'Deadman' showed. Deadman is Guillermo del Toro's character but he is voiced by another actor. Lots of exposition in the trailer. Kojima explains more stuff about the 'Bridge Baby'.
  • Gameplay shown. First thing shown is Sam (Norman Reedus' Character) pissing.
  • Geoff Keighley is a character in the game and he's excited af about it.
  • Kojima reveals more details about the game,objective,story, setting and 'connections between the players' etc.
  • You guys remember Sixaxis? So in the game you move the controller to rock the baby to comfort it.
  • Kojima explains a lot more about the pissing mechanic. Like a LOT.
  • Kojima scanned Geoff's face without telling Geoff what it's for.
  • There are many more cameo appearances in the game.
  • The game is on track to meet it release date.
  • There'll be a briefing in the Gamescom Sony Booth that'll explain more about what was revealed today.

Honestly, I recommend watching the entire Gamescom Opening Night Live stream. They revealed a lot of info about the games they showed in the conversation/interview between Geoff and the devs.
