Too many people are confused about Sam’s voice, myself included. I think that it’s a clue to something we don’t know about yet. I said in another thread that, maybe, it’s the actual player speaking to the game through his/her headset? Or it could be related to something entirely different that we just haven’t been told about yet. People are saying it’s Sam, but even if it was Norman Reedus, the high-pitched, cheery yelling does not suit Sam’s character (who we know is a low-speaking, almost depressed-sounding guy.) I will literally be shocked if it turns out to actually be Sam and nothing more. Also, a lot of people are mad that we still haven’t seen a ton of gameplay. I am also a little upset but I think there’s a reason for that. If the game is truly as revolutionary as Kojima claims it to be, maybe he just literally can’t show us a lot of the gameplay because it would ruin the surprise. I also think online will be a huge component. So, maybe when we play it, it’ll be totally different. Maybe we all add to the world somehow, so in these trailers we don’t see much because it hasn’t launched yet. Another thing that has be interested is Sam speaking, right before he wakes up. He asks for a little more time to sleep, and who wakes him up? Us. He’s literally speaking to us.
