although i loved every movie so far, most people don't know where the franchise is at right now. so i've got an idea on how to continue the franchise: MAKE A PREQUEL!
make a prequel to T1. get Edward Furlong into great shape to play General John Connor. if not him, Norman Reedus could play a great John. bring back Linda Hamilton as his second in command. if you have to, bring back Schwarzenegger - but as a scientist who is the model for the T-800, or even better: a hard as nails military general! give us the Skynet Future War set in 2029 we saw in flash-forwards in T1-T3 - no goddamn desert landscape we got in Salvation and Dark Fate! use plasma weaponry, not pistols and guns! give us the blue hue Cameron used in T1 and T2! make it ONE LAST MOVIE, not a trilogy - stop taking risks!
making it a prequel to T1 is more logical than making it a sequel to T2 - T2 is the last movie. they succeed in destroying Skynet and the world is safe. making it a prequel to T1 shows that they attempted to destroy Cyberdyne ONLY in T2. before T2 played out, Cyberdyne always succeeded in creating Skynet and Judgment Day happening in 1997 - T2 breaks this loop. use CGI SPARINGLY, like T1 and T2 did - make it 80% practical effects, 20% CGI! de-age Michael Biehn, Robert Patrick and Schwarzenegger in the movie's last scene where it'll show Kyle, T1's T-800, T2's T-800 and the T-1000 getting sent back! VERY SIMPLE - everyone just wants to see the Resistance destroying Skynet!
