About the trailer they released today...-UNR

Ok, so here goes nothing: I guess the poetic theme here is about the struggle to move forward to the future, and how the past will always hold us back. But in order to not let them weigh us down, we'd have to embrace our connection with the past (the baby). Not sure how tho, try to make peace with the past maybe?

I also sense some political commentaries here. Notice how the "past" soldiers that mads mikkelsen commands were covered in black goo that lits up when in contact with fire? I guess it represents America's biggest "luggage" that holds them down from moving forward: oil.

The soldiers represents those who died serving their country, yet their sacrifices were in vain because they really fought for America's lust for oil, thus becoming part of the "past" that haunts us from moving forward. Why America you ask? Because the organization that norman reedus works for (BRIDGES) is (presumably) from America, thus establishing the context for the message that kojima wants to convey.

There are probably a lot more behind the trailer that haven't been covered here, like the hidden message (that probably exists) behind what mads mikkelsen sang during the first minute. But yeah, I'm stoked

P.S: I also commented this on the trailer that playstation uploaded on youtube, so in case some of you found that comment and thought that I was plagiarizing that post- that was me
