Things that need to happen in Hazbin Hotel.-UNR
Since we finally got a teaser and new release date I've thought of things that I think need to happen:
Crossover episode. I know it's obvious but c'mon fans would LOVE to see Angel Dust interact with Loona or Stolas interact with Charlie or vaggie.
Special guest stars. Helluva Boss had Pink and Norman Reedus, I'd LOVE it if Weird Al did the voice of a character (only if he sings an original song and his character uses an accordion). Or maybe someone like Robert Englund (he could voice a dream demon), some members of Metallica or even Tara Strong (I'd LOVE for that too happened).
Heaven themed episode. Have an episode that takes place in heaven.
Guest animator's. I know it's not going to happen but I'd LOVE it if Maxwell Atoms (creator of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) or Tim Burton was a guest animator for some demons.

Confusing television rights to TWDU in Australia.-UNR
I'm kinda confused with how the Walking Dead Universe has been licensed in Australia. TWD: World Beyond and Tales went to Prime Video, Fear The Walking Dead seems to be on both Foxtel and AMC+ while the three new spin-offs are on Stan. To top it off, the first five seasons of Ride with Norman Reedus are on AMC+ but the sixth season appears to be exclusive to Stan. Why can't we just have one service and stick to it?

Episode 3, the worst by far.-UNR
I’m a lover of The Walking Dead universe and of the spin offs but the latest episode (3) in the Daryl Dixon spinoff was probably the most pointless in the series so far. Literally nothing happens. It was like a filler in episode purely to have the drag queen actor make a cameo in the show like Norman Reedus asked for. They could have done so much more. The fight scene at the end was genuinely awful too and then the cliffhanger where he stood on the collapsing roof and didn’t even move. The whole episode felt very forced and especially the ending. In terms of The Walking Dead universe it’s probably among the worst episodes ever across all shows.
EDIT: This is just an opinion. The first 2 episodes so far were brilliant but again, I felt that because the first two were fantastic it was very easy to notice that this episode lacked in quality and direction.
Why Norman Reedus isn't credited in the intro of his spinoff?-UNR
I've noticed that his name doesn't appear in the into, why?

Would Daryl Dixon be better or worst if it was Daryl & Carol?-UNR
I'm enjoying Daryl Dixon very much, a fresh take on the rather overdone zombie genre. The original plan was for Melissa McBride to star in the show, but she said she wanted a break.
I don't think her inclusion would have improved the show. There is a good rapport between Daryl and Isabelle, a slight sexual tension but she's a capable survivor with an unexpected past.
And frankly, I think Carol was misused towards the end. There was a potential for a relationship between the two, but the show split them apart and lost their chemistry. She is a killer, often underestimated until he puts the knife in your temple, but later she was a bitter fighter.
I feel like Negan has taken the role of the wildcard, so I'm not sure what Carol would do in France. While Daryl is supposed to be a fish out of water, Norman Reedus fits perfectly as he travels through France. When they walked past Jim Morrison's grave, Daryl may not be a music fan but it's clear that Reedus is.
We'll see what happens when Carol finally arrives. I almost feel bad for the villains. But as a lead character, maybe not.

Any other Jeff Nichols fans? Shotgun Stories, Take Shelter, Mud-UNR
Three of my favorite movies. His last couple have been a little underwhelming but the strength of his first 3 films warrants some praise. I get that not everyone is going to interested in stories about simple people from simple places but Nichols has a way of deriving almost Shakespearean depth and beauty from otherwise unglamorous subject matter. And of course he frequently casts Michael Shannon who’s basically can’t be anything other than great. If you haven’t seen those movies I highly recommend checking them out. He’s got a new one called the Bikeriders coming out soon w Tom Hardy, Micheal Shannon and Norman Reedus that I’m pretty excited about.

Piggybacking off another hot post for people who never got to play P.T.-UNR
For anyone who isn't aware, a full 1:1 recreation of P.T. was made in Unreal and aptly titled "Unreal PT" and is (I'm pretty sure still) free to download.
For anyone unaware, P.T. stands for "Playable Teaser" and was part of a collaborative project between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro that was slated to be a new Silent Hill game starring Norman Reedus (does that cast lineup look familiar?). It was delisted from the PlayStation store shortly after its release due to the fallout between Kojima and Konami, so emulation is the only way to play it unless you have a PS4 with it already downloaded.
The teaser was super well made with complex puzzles and was genuinely terrifying, IMO. The recreation in Unreal is honestly almost indistinguishable from the original.
Just a fan of the project who wanted to shout it out!

Please share your thoughts on this film idea of mine!-UNR
I wrote this plot down and had ChatGPT revise it and summarize it for me better lmao
So the film title is called Horizon's Edge!
Plot: In the grim aftermath of the devastating alien invasion, the remnants of humanity find themselves ensnared in a nightmarish existence. Under the iron grip of both the Stellarons and their ruthless commander, Slayer, leader of the Rubrum, humans are now condemned to a life of servitude and despair.
Slayer, a sinister figure cloaked in red, embodies the merciless authority of the Rubrum. Guided by the Stellarons, these malevolent beings oversee the subjugation of humanity, using the Arachnaclysm virus and the threat of Kaijus as tools of control. The once-free citizens are reduced to slaves, forced to toil in service to their extraterrestrial overlords.
Amidst this dystopian nightmare, a fragile ember of resistance flickers. FALCON, the valiant government agency, stands as a beacon of hope, daring to defy the overwhelming oppression. As they navigate a treacherous landscape of political intrigue, warfare, and cybernetic mecha giants, they strive to reclaim humanity's freedom from the clutches of both the Stellarons and the relentless Slayer.
The stage is set for an epic showdown in a world on the brink of oblivion, where the lines between hero and villain blur, and the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. Amidst the darkness of servitude and despair, the ember of resistance sparks the flames of an unforgettable struggle for liberation and survival. In this tragic yet awe-inspiring saga of war, action, adventure, and political intrigue, the resilience of the human spirit is put to the ultimate test, as the desperate fight for freedom unfolds in the face of overwhelming odds.

Will he die?-UNR
Will Striker die? It's obvious that Stella will fail eventually, but does that mean Striker will die?
Since Norman Reedus is basically a staple for this wild western character. (yes one of the main cast in TWD is this handsome character) but does that mean his character will die?
I got a theory. after the struggle with almost killing Stollace in a near death experience, he turns against Stella and goes after her and her brother, he seemed pretty pissed off that the deal kept changing, if the deal changes too much a hitman will go after the employer as a strike. He may get his money from Stella's brother after he kills him, and after that all he'll breaks loose since each ring is ran by a type of royalty.

Considering getting a road bike-UNR
I saw a post this morning about someone middle-aged (whatever that means) thinking he/she has missed the boat in getting a bike licence. It stood out as I've been watching a series called RIDE with Norman Reedus and really enjoying it. I'm 48 (middle-aged thats if I live to 96🙄) and I now have had a bee in my bonnet for the last week to start riding and do some road trips around Australia. I'm an ex-trail bike rider, and I have been on off-road bikes since 8 years old, but not competitively. I have never had a road bike experience, maybe the odd up and down the road on mates bike. I'm afraid of the dangers and my family needs me. However, I can't stop thinking about getting a bike. The only thing stopping me from buying a bike today is the process of getting a license and perhaps my wife and that my 22-year-old son ends up wanting one as well. He has off-road experience and has been driving for 5 years. I'm keen on anything that I can legally ride as close as I can get to a BMW 1200GS Adventure
Odd casting moment I thought of-UNR
So I was watching the first episode of Daryl Dixion earlier, and watching him in the surroundings of crumbling castles, renaissance ruins of France put me suddenly in mind of Fitz.
Not Fitz in the first trilogy but perhaps Fitz by the time of late Tawny-Man or Fitz-and-the-Fool time period.
Norman Reedus has this odd old/Young look, where he’s clearly older but still seems more active and capable than you think he should be. It’s an odd casting choice I admit, but I could totally buy him as older Fitz.

Actors You Want To See More Of/Less Of Outside of TWD-UNR
Rewatching Season 11 prepping for the new Daryl Dixon show. It has me thinking about the actors and who I like and don't care for. There was a time where I would go to IMDb and look up the cast to see what they've done and pick out films and shows to watch based on what I found. For instance, I will watch literally anything with Jon Bernthal or Lauren Cohan, and almost anything with Michael Rooker or Norman Reedus. Reedus has done some weird and/or foreign stuff I'm not interested in, and Rooker has done some downright garbage films. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is actually one of the few actors (Along with Reedus and Rooker and Scott Wilson) I knew well before they joined the show, I've loved that dude's films since I saw him as The Comedian in The Watchmen.
So with this in mind, who are the actors (as in person who acts, male or female or other) you want to see more of, who do you never want to see on screen again, and who are you simply indifferent towards?
Here's my list, aside from the already mentioned Reedus, Rooker, Morgan, Bernthal and Cohen.
Love To See More From
- Nadia Hilker (Magna)
- Christian Serratos (Rosita)
- Ross Marquand (Aaron)
- Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes)
- Cooper Andrews (Jerry)
- Katelyn Nacon (Enid)
- Michael Cudlitz (Abraham)
- Lennie James (Morgan)
- Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese)
- MICHAEL JAMES SHAW (MERCER THE BEAST)
- Steven Ogg (Simon)
- Pollyanna McIntosh (Jadis)
- David Morrissey (Governor)
- Ryan Hurt (
OpieBeta)
Never Care to See Again
- Eleanor Matsuura (Yumiko)
- Josh McDermitt (Eugene)
- Chandler Riggs (Carl)
- Callan McAuliffe (Alden)
- Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe)
- Joshua Mikel (Ratface Jared)
- Major Dodson (Sam)
The rest of the cast I'd say I'm indifferent towards, to varying degrees. I do like Danai Gurira, but I don't really care if she's in a movie I'm watching. Chad Coleman seems like a huge wasted talent in Hollywood, first he gets the short end of the stick in TWD, then he has a pathetic stint in the CWverse, and the last thing I saw him in was The Orville, which he's great in, but he's playing an alien buried under makeup. I think he could have gone much further. It'd be cool to see him show up on the Star Trek show with Sonequa Martin-Green, if only for the reunion.
Can't Figure Out The Commercial Skips With Philo-UNR
Last night I watched Ride with Norman Reedus and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon a couple of hours after they aired live. I selected both episodes from my Saved tab. I watched Ride first. I had no problem skipping through the commercials by simply pressing the > button once, then play. I love how it completely skips all the commercials this way. But when I watched TWD:DD episode, I could not FF through any of the commercials.
Both of these programs were DVR selections as opposed to VOD selections (which I've never been able to skip commercials on). Is there any rhyme or reason for how Philo chooses which commercials you can skip on specific shows?

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon cast talks balancing French and English-UNR
The use of French in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon not only adds to the authenticity within this bold new landscape in the TWD Universe — after all, the show is set in France — but it also gives non-French speaking viewers the same sense of disorientation that Daryl (Norman Reedus) experiences. (Thankfully though, we get subtitles!) He’s in a new place with new people and there are many things he doesn’t understand, including the language.
It’s more than a little unsettling, and all the credit goes to the incredibly talented cast who masterfully navigate this new apocalyptic world in both French and English.
What to Watch had a chance to speak with Louis Puech Scigliuzzi (Laurent), Romain Levi (Codron) and Anne Charrier (Genet) about striking a balance when working in French and English, and how it influenced their performances.
"For me, it was very fun [to speak French and English]," said Levi. On the show, Levi’s Codron is stern and almost always angry while the actor is almost always smiling in real life.
"In the first season I don’t speak much English," he said. “A bit, but not much. But I loved it. And it’s very interesting as an actor because the words are different and the way it’s resonating inside is different. So you can play it subtly and in a different way. I wanted to be sure that I was understanding everything because we could improvise sometimes. So in English, I had to be a little more focused on the words, but it was very fun to do. I love it. And in a way, it gave me freedom in English. I felt a kind of freedom playing in English.”
Charrier, whose Genet quickly becomes one of the more intriguing villains in the TWD Universe, agreed with Levi. “You know, there’s something very thrilling about playing in a language that has been the language of the cinema you’ve been watching. We didn’t have to work on much as we didn’t have to speak perfect English. We would cover [mistakes] with our accents, so the pressure wasn’t huge. But being able to swap like that from French to English and to see how the acting would resonate was very exciting.”
During the interview, Charrier noted that Scigliuzzi is the most fluent English speaker of the group. Daryl Dixon is the tween’s first major role, and being able to use French and English helped him to improve his language skills. Previously he’d practiced English with his father, but the role of Laurent gave him a chance to develop his English accent.
"It’s really exciting," Scigliuzzi said. "Being on the show and being able to switch to French and English has really helped me improve my languages. It’s starting to get better every day I’m on set, and it’s a nice thing to know it’s improving."

Somehow I completely missed Blade movies, so last weekend I binged the trilogy. In the second movie vampire overlord Damaskinos is trying to create an army of day walking vampires. Thoughts on Masters of Horror-UNR
My favorite episodes were Dance of the Dead - Tobe Hooper - (Jonathan Tucker is a scream king, change my mind) and Cigarette Burns - John Carpenter - (might have been my intro to Norman Reedus). I also loved Incident On and Off a Mountain Road - Don Coscarelli. I have never gotten this series out of my head.

Who is needed to continue TWDU?-UNR
Do you think the TV franchise could outlive any actor at this point?
Personally, I feel like Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are the three must-haves.
Lincoln's presence adds a great deal of legitimacy. Even casual viewers are still invested in Rick. My mother stopped watching way back in season 5, but she's hyped for "The Ones Who Live" purely because she wants to know what happens to Rick in the end. His return completely overshadowed the finale.
Reedus is "old reliable". He's been there (almost) since day one, everyone likes him and he's instantly identifiable. It would just feel empty without him.
Morgan, because Negan is arguably the character with the most story left to tell. Plus his charisma draws in viewers. His unpredictability makes him continually exciting.

[CHAPTER 7] I can't believe this game, it's not what I expected-UNR
Finally im playing DS heavily. Im on chapter 7 or 8 Chapter named Unger I think or Clifford, which one is later idk. I was a Kojima guy already before playing but now I played my whole perspective is changed.
Now why I could love this game? Because I love the idea of transportation, I think it's one of the most important technologies in the world and changed history. And its fun to carry one thing from one place to another. I especially like to use creative tools in games, may it be cars or jetpacks. I just love it.
Second I love Third Person games. Especially when they have realistic character movements combined with physics.
So you can imagine how much I could love this game going in... But I didnt expected this much!!!
You can built stuff using a 3D Printer! EVERY TIME I OPEN A NEW WEAPON WHEN IT OPENS OUT OF IT's package and it's package falling on ground Im jumping with joy. There are at least 1000 details like this, I can carry packages on my back to connect humanity, using motors and cars and build BRIDGES.
This game is the most sophisticated game development wise. Im sure you all know how much work & science & engineering went into rope mechanics and Sam's movement. I thought TLOU2 Rope mechanics were something. Forget that, this game constantly makes us use ropes, and we can help other people using our ropes!!!
Sam's movement is absolutely crazy, there are nearly no static animations, everything is real time.
Come on people, you have to realize how advanced this game is, this game is literally next level to other games, it's like reaching to a different technology era. It is not just advanced engineering-wise, it's advanced culturally wise too. The story, buildings, chiral crystals, the black water-like material that creates the main atmosphere of the game, it all feels like game is from year 2200 or smth...
Only thing I didnt like is sometimes when you climb your cargo gets through terrain. That's it, this is literally the only negative side of the game for me, and since game is so realistic it's normal when you see something unrealistic you say WTF.
And I hate BBs and I dont like Hemantic Grenades hit so much while Weapons do not much damage to BB-Bosses.
Not every game is same. This game is released on 2019, that doesnt mean a game from 2030 will be technologically advanced then this game. NO.
I love the MGSV style, modern interface and sounds. This game feels so technological, man Kojima and his dev team knows what they are doing.
Im not even getting into characters, Die Hardman?? Heartman ?? BRIDGET, President STRAND, Sam PORTER BRIDGES... Koji-much??? What's the next character Existing Person or smth? I love it. It's just fun.
And actors are amazing, Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Margaret Qualley, Lea Seydoux, GODDAMNED DEL TORO WTF Kojima
And the last part of is... I STILL NOW NOTHING ABOUT STORY. What's going to happen? Is Beaches are a middle part to "other world" why other world exist? did it exist of nuclear war energy broke the dimensions? Who is Clifford? is BB and Sam same person, is Sam and Clifford sam person? I literally have no knowledge thanks to game didnt have spoilers like marvel movies and didnt played by my friends.
Now this post looks like a in game email.
This game is solid 10/10 for me and still underrated it should be 11/10
Im EXCITED about the ending and JOURNEY... Definitely getting the Platinum.
