Masters of Horror-UNR

https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

OK, sorry if there's already a thread for this and I missed it. Did anyone check out Carpenter's 2 Masters of Horror episodes? I hadn't seen them since they came out, so I just rewatched them. Some quick, spoiler free thoughts.

Cigarette Burns - I remember loving this when it aired but found it tedious on a rewatch. The mystery/twist is staggeringly obvious so its a lot of tension free dialogue repetition. And Norman Reedus is terrible.

Pro Life - I had no memory of this but enjoyed the shit out of it. Visually, the daytime/TV aesthetic hasn't aged well, but the story is like a really solid X-Files by way of Garth Ennis. Ron Perlman is unsurprisingly great and it's got a lot of gonzo gusto.

Anyone else have thoughts?
