The Walking Dead Rewritten (Season 6)-UNR

https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Hey guys! Here is my rewritten version of Season 6, since you all liked Season 5 so much! Really have fun doing these and it's always interesting to see how people would interpret the show differently. Season 7 coming soon!

Here is the series regulars for my version of Season 6:

STARRING:

  • Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes
  • Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon
  • Steven Yeun as Glenn Rhee
  • Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee
  • Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes
  • Danai Gurira as Michonne
  • Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier
  • Michael Cudlitz as Abraham Ford
  • Emily Kinney as Beth Greene
  • Lennie James as Morgan Jones
  • Sonequa Martin-Green as Sasha Williams

ALSO STARRING:

  • Josh McDermitt as Eugene Porter
  • Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinosa
  • Seth Gilliam as Gabriel Stokes
  • Erik Jensen as Steven Edwards
  • Alexandra Breckenridge as Jessie Anderson
  • Ross Marquand as Aaron
  • Tovah Feldshuh as Deanna Monroe
  • Austin Nichols as Spencer Monroe

601 - First Time Again

This episode stays the same, except I’d take out the black and white. I honestly hated that filter.

602 - JSS

The Wolves still attack. Edwards tries to help Denise overcome her fears and desperately tries to save Holly, but fails. Beth also assists in the attack and she helps Spencer out.

603 - Thank You

This episode stays the same, minus the polarizing dumpster scene. I would have Nicholas encourage Glenn to jump the fence behind him as Nicholas proceeds to kill himself. Glenn watches from the fence as Nicholas’ corpse is devoured. From there, Glenn runs back to Alexandria on foot and runs into Rick in the RV. They head back to Alexandria together and the episode ends how the episode Now ends, with Rick and Glenn running through the gates. Maria (Officer Shepherd) also helps with leading the herd away.

604 - Here’s Not Here

This episode definitely stays the same. One of the greatest episodes I’ve ever seen.

605 - Always Accountable

This would take the place of Now, and it would stay the same minus Abraham and Sasha forming a flirtatious bond. I personally preferred Abe and Rosita.

606 - Heads Up

This episode is what Episode 7 would have been.

607 - Start to Finish

This episode is what the mid-season finale would have been.

608 - No Way Out

This episode is exactly like the No Way Out episode, except Denise and Owen (the Wolf) escape Alexandria.

609 - We Find Ourselves

This episode takes place in the immediate aftermath of No Way Out. Carl is suffering from amnesia after being shot like we saw in the comics. Rick and Michonne stay with him to help him regain his memory. Carol stays back to rest her head, reluctant to tell Rick what Morgan did, as he has enough on his plate. Eventually, Carol tells Rick what happened when Carl recovers and he thanks her for telling him. We get some scenes throughout where Rick is helping Carl regain his memory, telling him about Lori, Dale, Hershel, Tyreese, etc. and he eventually gets his memory back.

Meanwhile, Morgan, Daryl, Aaron, Abraham, Rosita and Tara go out looking for Owen and Denise. Daryl is harboring resentment towards Morgan for body slamming Carol. While he tries justifying his actions, the group tells him to stop it. Owen and Denise are seeking refuge at the storage facility where Aaron and Daryl were trapped. There are four Wolves left and they plot some sort of revenge on Alexandria and want to use Denise as leverage. However, Owen begins to understand Morgan’s philosophy. The Wolves begin to betray Owen, but suddenly, they are shot down by Daryl’s group and Carol shoots Owen in the leg. Owen pleads for his life on his knees, promising never to return. When it looks like Morgan is agreeing to this, he makes Owen lose his guard and stabs him through the neck with his stick. The group rescues Denise and brings her back home, with Morgan realizing that he needs to kill sometimes. The episode ends with Daryl’s group returning to Alexandria and embracing Carl, who has recovered. Rick and Morgan sit and talk about morals, with Morgan admitting he finally understands Rick’s way of thinking.

610 - The Next World

This episode stays the same, minus Spencer looking for walker Deanna. It made zero sense to me. I’d replace these scenes with Beth and Spencer forming a relationship and also Edwards and Sasha fall in love.

611 - Knots Untie

This episode stays the same except Beth goes to Hilltop with the others.

612 - Not Tomorrow Yet

This episode stays the same except Morgan goes with them to the outpost. During the shootout, we see him go full on Terminator like he did in Season 8, but not as crazy. Also, Abraham stays with Rosita.

613 - The Same Boat

This episode stays the same.

614 - Twice as Far

This episode stays the same.

615 - East

This episode stays the same.

616 - Something to Fear

From start to finish, this episode was fantastic, but the cliffhanger ruined it. So the episode would remain the same, except Beth is in the Lucille lineup too as she would go with Maggie to Hilltop. Also, we do see the Lucille death. Negan kills Glenn the exact same way he did in the comics. I know some people may not like that I killed Glenn, but personally, his death is too important to not include it. The season ends with the right hand man scene, where Negan drags Rick into the RV.
