My wife and I fuckin love this game. I love that we get to help each other out. I have so much fun delivering packages for others who may have lost them. I love building bridges. I am seriously enjoying this game more than I have a game in a long time. The only things I have to worry about are in game enemies. I am happy I haven’t had to deal with griefers or the like. I am enjoying genuinely helping. The grind is a hard one to get used to but once I did I was in love. I didn’t think the story would be good at first due to it being about a delivery guy. I thought it was a story about amazon prime or something. But we decided to get something new and we love Norman Reedus. We have been calling this and Days Gone the Daryl games. We love the walking dead. I’m going on a tangent...

Anyway, I am truly happy. My driving sucks and I laugh at some of the things I get into. Every character seems to be amazing and well thought out. Unsurprisingly Troy Baker kills it. I know I sound like I’m everywhere but the game has so much to love about it.

I am only on episode 2 at the moment. I don’t have any idea how much more I need to do but I am taking my time and enjoying myself right now.

I’m happy I found this sub. Just wanted to express my happiness with likeminded individuals. I’d appreciate any tips or tricks y’all may have! I’m trying to absorb as much as I can! Thanks for reading

[TOMT]UK drama/documentary exploring a divide/age war between young and old people. Between 2008-2010 maybe. Horizons?-UNR

I thought it might have been Horizons but I can't find an episode description like it. Was a while ago, probably over a decade.

It was a one off drama, maybe an hour long, and it was a near future world where old people owned all the property and were living longer, while young people were working and having to support them, but having very little themselves. The story focused around a young man and his mother, while a rebellion was growing. He was involved in some way, Can't remember if he orchestrated it, or was just swept up in it. Don't remember how it ended.

There may have been a tie in documentary that ran before or after the episode, and the whole thing was very "What if..." in tone. Most likely BBC, could also be a Channel 4 thing.

Not that it matters much, but the guy was quite thin, maybe had a green army jacket on, sort of Thom Yorke/McKenzie Crooke/Norman Reedus looking guy, while his mother was typical pearl clutching Middle-England type upper middle class woman, late 50s, early 60s.

Fairly sure this predates Black Mirror. I guessed 2008-2010 because I lived alone then and this was the sort of stuff I watched.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Norman Reedus teased in the old Silent Hill P.T. ending-scene?

So we know Reedus was, in some way, involved in the developing of P.T. and in contact with Hideo Kojima. I came upon this WIRED video of him going through some of the 'Web's Most Searched Questions', and at the timeframe of 4:54, he says:

"So we did 'Death Stranding', which was a huge hit, and we're in talks to do other stuff, so.."

Could this mean something that a new Silent Hill or some kind is indeed in developing? And with the latest rumours going around of a new Silent Hill, could this mean something?

I am, myself, not a huge Silent Hill expert or fan, but maybe you guys know any more about this topic than I do.

SILENT HILLS: Everything we know about Masahiro Ito and Hideo Kojima's rumored game-UNR

I have created this post to compile and summarize everything we know about the rumored Silent Hill title, and give a history of everything that has transpired in the last few years.

Hideo Kojima was first asked by Konami to make a Silent Hill game in 2012. He said on the matter, "I think Silent Hill has a certain atmosphere. I think it has to continue, and I'd love to help it continue, and if I can help by supervising or lending the technology of the Fox Engine, then I'd love to participate in that respect."
In November 2012, Masahiro Ito was asked on Twitter if he would work with Hideo Kojima on a new Silent Hill game. He responded, "Yes. If he were to demand it."
In August 2014, a mysterious game called P.T. dropped on the Playstation 4. It was ostensibly a demo for an indie horror game. However, as you play the game, subtle clues were dropped that it might be related to Silent Hill (including the Grey Child sound effect being used for Lisa, and references to Silent Hill 4's bathroom). By the end, the game was revealed to be a standalone game announcing the next Silent Hill game Silent Hills.
Contrary to popular misconception, P.T. is not a demo/segment of Silent Hills, but just a playable teaser for the game. To date, Kojima hasn't given any indication that Silent Hills was intended to have a first or third person perspective or follow the same plot points as P.T.
Silent Hills would have starred Norman Reedus as the player character, and the game was hinted at being set in the Northwestern United States (outside of the titular Silent Hill, Maine). Guillermo Del Toro (Pans Labyrinth, Crimson Peak, Blade II, Shape of Water, Hellboy, The Strain) would have co-directed the game with Kojima. Junji Ito was on board as a creature designer. Akira Yamoaka was hoping to do the musical score.
Silent Hills was subsequently cancelled and P.T. was erased from existence, prompting record fan outrage. P.T. was one of the most influential horror games of the 2010s and Silent Hills was highly anticipated even outside of the SH fandom. Silent Hills was still in early development when it was cancelled, to the point that Junji Ito hadn't even begun creature work or signed a contract yet. Konami released a statement claiming that they are "committed to new Silent Hill titles."
Let's go back a little bit. Remember Masahiro Ito? Well, he was actually working on a Silent Hill in 2013 (which fits the time frame of when Silent Hills would have begun development). Because of NDAs, he hasn't been able to identify the game or give many plot details.
Ito has been very unhappy with Pyramid Head being used outside of SH2, because he was designed specifically for James Sunderland (sources here). He has spoken out against other characters having a Pyramid Head and believes that Konami would be unwilling to make a new game without some variation of PH, so in his 2013 game, he had a plan...

Because of Ito's distaste with Pyramid Head rearing his pyramid head in the later games, he planned to kill him off in the opening of the 2013 game. The game would have introduced a new manifestation of the cult's angel Valtiel, who ultimately would have killed PH. This version has crimson red wings and a more angelic appearance. Back to the post-Silent Hills cancellation. Despite Konami claiming that they were devoted to new Silent Hill titles (and widespread demand for Silent Hills to be revived), Konami shut down most of their console division and began focusing mostly on remasters, sporting games, mobile games, and gambling.
Kojima split from Konami and went on to make Death Stranding with Reedus and Del Toro. It wrapped production and was released in 2019.
In the meantime, Konami resurrected Silent Hill... as a pachislot machine. Because of the cancellation of the highly anticipated Silent Hills, and because of gambling machines and the cutscenes being completely out of sync with what Silent Hill is as a work of fiction, many fans considered this to be a middle finger from Konami.
From the cancellation of Silent Hills, and excluding gambling products, Silent Hill remained silent for the next few years.
In 2017, Masahiro Ito revealed that he had not abandoned his plans to kill Pyramid Head in the opening of a new Silent Hill game, should he make one: https://twitter.com/adsk4/status/867501554554724352

But here's where things start to get real. In September 2019, Konami released a statement declaring that high end console games are once again "important to our future."

In January 2020, Masahiro Ito tweeted "I'm working on a title as a core member. I hope the title won't be cancelled. About that, I can tell you nothing yet. ( ´•ᴗ•) "
Also in January 2020, rumors began circulating that Konami is developing two Silent Hill projects - A soft reboot and an episodic Telltale/Until Dawn-type game. At the same time, Eurogamer reported that relations between Kojima and Konami have greatly improved since their 2014 falling out and Konami released a statement saying "We cannot share anything at this point, but we are listening to customer feedback and considering ways to provide the next title."
Not long after that, a reddit leaker claimed that Konami is working on a full remake of one of the older games and a Shattered Memories-style spin-off, implying a game of telephone between rumors.
Soon after that, Kojima tweeted this cryptic tweet hinting at an announcement the following week, and Masahiro Ito simultaneously twitted "R.I.P. Pyramid Head" teasing Pyramid Head's death. Jeremy Blaustein aka Dragonbaby (the translator of the original Team Silent games) replied "About time..."
Soon after, Kojima Productions tweeted out a member of Konami joining Kojima's staff. This culminated in a LOT of speculation about an upcoming Silent Hill title.
The following week, Kojima instead announced the release date of the PC port of Death Stranding and a Half-Life crossover. However, speculation has not died down for obvious reasons.
Aesthetic Gamer, the original leaker of the "two Silent Hill games" rumor (who has been reliable in the past with Resident Evil leaks) clarified more information. However, he stressed that you should take all of it with a grain of salt. For starters, Kojima is working with Junji Ito on a Death Stranding manga. But more pertinently, Konami was reaching out to developers to produce two Silent Hill titles. One, a soft reboot. Two, an episodic title.
(Cont'd) Apparently, Supermassive Games (Until Dawn) was contacted for the episodic game, but they didn't get the job. He doesn't say whether the episodic game is still happening, but Konami is also shopping around for other SH stuff.
(Cont'd) Sony is also currently mediating between Kojima and Konami, and they are helping to fund the upcoming SH games. He doesn't say much, but apparently the Kojima game is only IN TALKS and not yet in development. However, Masahiro Ito did begin developing a new SH soft reboot in 2019 and it has been an open secret in the video game industry for a while now. Apparently, there's a few different studios involved with the soft reboot and Ito is working with SH1 creator Keiichero Toyama and Akira Yamaoka.

The horror/fan site Rely On Horror also joined in with a new report. However, for reasons outlined here, it's probably fake for reasons outlined here and here (see also this, this, and this). Kojima supposedly working on a Telltale-styled game and Konami (the developer who tried to turn SH3 into a rail shooter and who has never had a problem with shaking up canon) putting Kojima on a spin-off to give him "total creative freedom" are the biggest tip-offs that their report is false. It mostly rehashes other reports anyway, and it contradicts details of Aesthetic Gamer's report (and he has a better track record than they do).

Looks like Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima are planning on working together again.

Speaking in a WIRED Autocomplete Interview, Norman Reedus discussed how he came about starring in Death Stranding, and whether he will work with Hideo Kojima again in the future.

“Guillermo del Toro originally called me and said ‘A guy named Hideo Kojima is going to call you and just say yes.’ I’m like, who is he? He said ‘It doesn’t matter who he is, just say yes.’

“And then I met Hideo at Comic-Con in San Diego. He came out back when we were doing another game [Silent Hills], and he showed me what he was working on and I was blown away. I mean the guy is a super genius. So then I became friends with him, started working with him, and we kept going.

“So, we did Death Stranding which was a huge hit and we’re in talks to do other stuff.”

You can hear Reedus discuss this around the 4:22 mark.

Reedus was originally set to work with Kojima on the Silent Hills game before it was canceled by Konami and Kojima left the company.

The actor said previously he while he disappointed at first that Konami canceled the title, but when Kojima described Death Stranding to him, he “completely forgot” about the game.

10 seasons for any TV Show is a big milestone and one that needs to be celebrated, and go out with a bang.

Recently I've been thinking about how they should end this particular season and here is my finale version.

So, Alpha dies her comic death in 10x15, but Lydia witnesses Negan holding her head after he says his famous comic line, but replace Rick's name for Daryl or Carol.

After the battle at hilltop, they all retreat to Alexandria. Beta finds Alpha's headless corpse and realises that Negan is missing too.

He releases the horde.

Lydia goes with Negan, even after what he did because she knows that Beta will probably kill her.

The horde & Beta arrive at Alexandria, and tear down the gates, and the walls and massacre 80% of characters left, leaving us with a group the size of season 2 (15).

So no community is left standing and they have no choice but to run, and that is where the commonwealth gets introduced via Eugene.

Gabriel, Kelly, Luke, Dianne, Gamma, Scott, Earl, Marco, Nabila all die.

Then the group we are left with (for season 11) Daryl, Carol, Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel, Magna, Connie, Alden, Rosita, Aaron, Judith, RJ, Jerry.

Then the final shot of the episode is Maggie arriving at Alexandria, with young Hershel, who is then joined by Lydia and Negan carrying Alpha's head.

Like a big WTF moment.

I’ve been going down a Lady Gaga rabbit hole and here are some of my thoughts about her music videos. This isn’t an exclusive list, just some random thoughts I wanted to call out

Judas’ music video is fucking bomb and you can’t convince me otherwise. Cue Stefon voice This video has everything - biker gang Jesus, high fashion Mary Magdalene, choreo SERVE (as they all do), yellow hair Gaga, a three way party hot tub, AND Norman Reedus?!? Idk if this opinion is pop or unpop but I love it
I love how all her music videos have such interesting concepts!! Few if any are even similar? Let me know if you think I’m wrong
Marry the Night is SO underrated. I love it with just audio, but the video really adds another layer. I don’t think i had watched it back when it was released and found it beautiful and poignant
She should have made music videos for EVERY song ever! Just me being greedy, but I really would have liked to see videos for Teeth and Speechless (among others like Scheibe which I’m glad is getting love here!!)
I FUCKING want a jukebox musical with her songs. I’ve been thinking about it for a few days and here’s what I have so far. A woman is in a new/unknown country and meets a mysterious man, Alejandro or Judas. They fall in love fall cultural/language differences (Americano) and turns out hes insidious (Monster/Teeth). That sounds really bad when I type it out, but I just know there’s more there with all her songs!
Born this way is probably my favorite album. I love the rocky undertones and think she excels when she can just really get down on stage and get grimy

Death Stranding was not a good game.-UNR

From watching the trailers and seeing the strange but alluring imagery, people creating interesting theories that raised the hype for the game overall, to a game which pretty much is just walking from Point A to Point B without allowing your packages and shit to get damaged by anything.

Despite me enjoying some of the crazy and weird stuff, I did not truly care about the motive of the game. "WE MUST SAVE AMERICA" "YOU NEED TO HELP SAVE AMERICA, SAM". Saving America consisted of being an Amazon delivery guy, walking for about 20 mins, sometimes getting attacked by BTs and MULEs. Fun? No. It's absolutely tedious and not even Troy Baker and Norman Reedus could make me feel better about the overall repetiveness of the game.

The atmosphere is amazing. The landscape is detailed. But why should I care about it if all I'm doing is traversing it and delivering packages. I'm not saying it should've been a shooter, which it randomly divulges into when fighting Cliff and his clones, but it felt like the entirety of the game was just an absolute DRAG.

Why should I play Death Stranding when I can play The Last Guardian, Firewatch... literally ANYTHING else? There were good bits about it, but it really wasn't worth it.
