Theory about Death Stranding-UNR

https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

This might sound dumb as fuck but bare with me. In full transparency – I've never played a Kojima game so I'm solely basing this off the trailers we've seen.

Clearly the fetus plays a huge role in the game. It senses the "invisible spirits" (let's call them that). I noticed that the spririts have something like tubes that's connected to them. Much like an umbilical cord. Just like our friendly fetus has.

This made me think. Maybe the invisible spirits are unborn children turned into vengeful spirits.

Maybe that's why the fetus Norman Reedus is carrying can sense them. They have a connection.

In the recent trailer there were two lines that I feel could be applied to this as well:

"Take my hand in death" and "Take my hand in flesh" = Whether you're dead or alive we can connect.

Also we learned that if you die you can "come back". Maybe you come back as a fetus. Maybe that's how you share that connection. You've been to their world in death.

Anyway, that's my theory. The fetus can warn Norman about the invisible spirits cause they're also fetuses. Or at least they were.

Now I know this might sound batshit bonkers but, hey, the game is still weird as all fuck and shrouded in mystery.

Also to clarify I don't want to turn this into an abortion debate with my theory. It's a weird ass game with weird as trailers. This was one of the few things that lines up my head to create some sort of connection that let us start putting the puzzle together.
