"MEET ME IN BERLIN", CONNECTIONS and Kojima Productions recent tweets-UNR

Kojima Productions tweets this days some short stories (DSStories) about connections between actors, directors, seiyuu (anime voice actors) and logo designer who are involved in DEATH STRANDING "development proccess". But only part of them translated into English for now. Kojima Productions tweet:

"Norman Reedus is of course, a fantastic actor and famous celebrity. There are probably a lot of people that know of Death Stranding because of him. However, it may add a different perspective to Death Stranding to know about the special bond that Norman and Hideo have."

It's gonna be some deep bond I think.

4th trailer showed us REAL Norman Reedus (tattoo) and this detail might change everything (for me). I remembered semi-documentary short movie "MEET ME IN BERLIN" with Norman Reedus. Watch it if you haven't yet (15 minutes).

PLOT: After being hit by a truck in Berlin, a NY guy creates, by cell phone and at the hospital, a kind of connection with the woman that he was going to meet before the incident.

And for me - the main "thing" about this movie is CONNECTIONS. Not only with movie characters, but with REAL LIFE. I mean the real near death car accident back in 2005 in Berlin with Norman Reedus. The moment Reedus pulled out into the road he was struck by an 18-wheeler! Reedus was flung through the windshield and when he awoke his face was covered in glass. He had to endure operations that left him with four screws in his nose, a titanium eye socket and a face that temporarily looked like a "hamburger."

"One-eyed" child and "one-eyed" baby-doll which looks like Sam ('cause of scar and blue eyes) with some kind of iron nails stuck in it head.

Let's go back to the bond. Now Google Translated japanese tweet from Kojima Productions: "Kojima was watching a dubbed version of a drama and remembered Mr. Akio Miyabe who was plotting Steve McQueen's voice. Who owns the voice who plays the lead role? That was Tsuda Kenjiro. The actor Norman is close to McQueen. In the director, Sam = Tsuda's inspiration was born. Mr. Tsuda familiar with the voices of the villain such as Cairo Len of "Star Wars", Percival of "Fantastic Beast" (Colin Farrell). In one drama, Mr. Tsuda was playing the criminal of a protagonist who was unconventional but still human. It fell in love with the breadth and depth of the acting."

I'm not an anime fan, but i found anime "GANGSTA". Kenjiro Tsuda plays Nicolas Brown (awesome voice acting) - as I understand some kind of deaf criminal guy who has a large scar that runs diagonally from the center of his abdomen to his right thigh, tattoos and he's always seen wearing his tag around his neck. Looks familiar

It all looks like a spider-web. Many BRIDGES between movies, anime, music, social media and the most important REAL LIFE. DS = Norman Reedus nightmare? I don't know:)
