Top 5 things that annoy you in videogames.-UNR

There's a pretty long list for me so i'll post my top 5. I'm skipping microtransactions because that's the most obvious answer and I want a conversation, not a circlejerk.

1- Making famous people the protagonist. As we all know Norman Reedus was to start in the next shit show silent hill game but that didn't happen so now he's going to star in another game with a terrible name called "Death Stranding" but this time he's going to be with yet another celebrity, Mads Mikkelsen. WHY? You see the problem with this is that celebrities have always been used to sell shitty products from cults like scientology to bullshit fad diets and gimmicky exercise machines that don't do anything so putting a famous person on the cover of your game doesn't attract me it repels me. It's basically like saying "this product is shit but look! A guy you like from that one show/movie!" No thanks. I would rather support lesser known/new but skilled voice actors than throw even more money at rich celebrities that don't need it.

2- Bad voice acting. It's 2018, there's literally no excuse for this crap. Even the guy who voiced the protagonistt from RE-7 sounded like it was his first time doing voice acting, i'm pretty sure that getting beaten, stabbed and then having your hand cut off with a chainsaw by your seemingly demon possesed wife who has been missing for like 2 years is going to result in a bit more than you just basically hissing in pain and groaning for a couple seconds, that's the reaction you'd have for kicking a coffee table for crying out loud!

3- Doing the things that your fans keep telling you that they hate, AKA why AAA can go fuck itself. If your first and only response to widespread criticism is to double down on the shitty business practices, garbage products, poor customer service and overall "Fuck the people who pay my bills" attitude then frankly I hope you go bankrupt because i'm never giving you money again.

4- Theme oversaturation. There's "riding the popular theme", then there's "riding the popular theme until it's basically dead and then trying to ride it for years afterward with garbage money grab sequels". Looking at you, Capcom.

5- Refusing to fix bugs and properly port games. Seriously, fuck every dev who does this.
