This new trailer came out like a giant bomb just like Sam aka Reedus and his speech about the big bang.
There is many grades in the Bridges unit, Reedus our character is a porter, he possesses in his back a structure to carry things but he seem full of ressources. He's sure of himself and when the strange handprints appeared he is the one who give orders. The other guy just ask "SAM?!" when his detector starts the alert. Then Reedus just tells "shut up and don't breath". Then some tears appear on the face of the bridges unit member who try to save his comrade! Just like in the end of the trailer with Norman. His face has absolutely no expression but tears are present. I think it is some kind of physical response from the body when those strange creatures are present in the area. Reedus is confident in himself and he carry a dreamcatcher, some spiritual object. This is very important because we are in a very strange situation with futuristic technology but he still has some kind of "lucky charm" with him.
Unlike the other he didn't had any handgun and his suit is different. He didn't had the blue or red wristlet depending on your health.
The baby is the one who's making fonctionnal the radar. When handprints appear the alert starts so it's a function we will see for sure in the game. Handprints will come out from nowhere in real time and the radar will move freneticly. So infiltration will be a huge part of the game i hope.
There is another function for the radar and it's an offensive mode. When the luden who seems to be Mikkelsen arrives the radar changes his mode and starts to move differently. He is locating the position of the "things" then the bridges member tries to shot a target but fails.
He tries to kill himself but it's no use. Kojima said death will have a new meaning in DS. I believe that death will be like Inception. Suicide and death are a better option than being captured, because you became a puppet forever. But death will bring us into another world, dimension.
So just like Reedus is saying the Big Bang created the world we all know with his laws and his logics but the second Big Bang changed everything. Now we are in a universe completely different from everything we know and that's why everything is so bizarre!
