Konami is saving the Metal Gear franchise after it got raped by the egotastical japanese pedophile Hideo Kojima, I mean all the MGS games were shit because of him and here are the reasons:
Metal Gear Solid: Has bad textures, writing and graphics making it immediately a bad game.
Metal Gear Solid 2: Bad writing and story trying to sound philosophical and smart, too many cutscenes, "meta narrative" who gives a shit? and replaced Snake with a virgin Gray Fox!
Metal Gear Solid 3: Would have actually been a good game if The End boss fight didn't last for 12 hours.
Metal Gear Solid 4: After all the talk with defying fan expectations and taking risks that might piss of the fanboys, Kojima pussied out and created a game made out of pure fanservice and just because of death threats that didn't even follow through! Also it's a movie, not a video game.
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker: It's on the PSP why the fuck would anyone even play it?
Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes: Kojima sold this for $40 and it only lasted 6 minutes, probably did it to pay his rent.
Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain: Kojima thought it would be cool tackling dark subjects like "little African soldiers" "Ebola worms" and "rape" and all he did was make a game that was trying too hard to be edgy and lacked self awareness, everyone is super serious now all the time. Actual game is boring since all the missions are the same, on the same map, with the same boss fights.
Now that Kojima is gone for good, currently raping Norman Reedus, Konami can now make a game that has a actual straightforward plot so all the fanboys don't try to kill each other because they can't agree on if Big Boss senpai was actually evil all along, Metal Gear Survive will be our savior, it's like all the steam early access survival games but it actually passed the early access stage! It also has zombies which is good (The Last of Us had zombies and that was a masterpiece) and it's less than $60 which is a steal. #FuckKojima!
