My predictions on how Marvel Studios will handle their ABC/Television properties going forward.-UNR

Thing's have definitely changed quite a bit for Marvel Television fans over the last year since Feige took the reigns, From the introduction of all previous ABC/Netflix shows to Disney+ to the reintroduction of Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Hawkeye and She-Hulk, with both characters portrayed visually identical to their Netflix counterparts.

I feel strongly that the Netflix shows are still going to be considered "canon" to the MCU, but that Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios are gonna do their damnedest to ignore/workaround all the shit they don't like. Thus, the shows won't be out-right retconned, but they'll pick and choose the usual "we don't mention this unless we're making fun of it" deal they did with films like Thor: The Dark World for example.

In-universe there's been long enough of a time passage (with most of the Netflix shows taking place in 2016-2018 pre-IW, while current shows are set in 2025 and probably later by the time Born Again rolls around) that they can justify starting anew with these characters without completely doing away with their established backstories.

For example, here are some changes/predictions I could see happening in the MCU over the next couple years regarding the Marvel TV properties and more:

> Foggy, Karen, Brett and Ellison will all return with their original actors, although they'll be in completely different situations when Born Again starts than they were when DDS3 ended. Born Again will be the launching off point of slowly incorporating the rest of Marvel TV into the main MCU.

> Maya Lopez/Echo will "fill-in" for Elektra as Daredevil's new love interest and in future projects based on traditionally Elektra-centric storylines. I think Elodie Young will return as Elektra eventually but it won't be for a long while until Marvel Studios comes up with an entirely different use for the character.

> The Hand will be replaced in future storylines with a new organization that'll essentially serve the purpose of 'The Hand' the comics, hell, this could easily be the new Ten Rings under Xialing. They'll serve as antagonist fodder in future DD and Wolverine stories.

> Wilson Bethel will eventually return, but he'll have changed drastically over the years since DDS3 and be much closer to Bullseye from the comics than the 'Dex' character. His spine will be reinforced with adamantium since MCU has the legal rights now.

> Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) from Iron Fist is likely to come back, but Finn Jones' Danny Rand almost certainly won't. The new MCU rebooted Iron Fist will most likely be Lin Lie (per the comics) and he will likely be set-up/introduced as a new ally in Shang-Chi 2.

> Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Luke Cage (Mike Colter) will return, probably in future seasons of Daredevil. They'll be a full-on couple at this point and Cage will no longer be the owner of Harlem's Paradise, but their role will be minor. I could easily see the MCU working up a contrived way to reanimate David Tennant's Kilgrave as The Purple Man though. Nuke will likely reappear as a villain in the future but it won't be the Will Simpson incarnation.

> Ghost Rider will return but it'll be Johnny Blaze or possibly even Danny Ketch and he'll be played by a big name already interested in the role (be it Norman Reedus, Ryan Gosling, or Keanu Reeves). I certainly won't rule out Gabriel Luna returning as Robbie Reyes in a smaller role but he won't be the main MCU Ghost Rider. GR will be treated like Oscar's Moon Knight where the actor has one-off contracts and is free from any constant MCU commitment.

> Some Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actors will inevitably return in their roles (namely Chloe Bennett as Quake), but the events of AoS will not be mentioned, with the implication being that show (at the very least everything from S5 onwards) was set in a similar variant universe/timeline to accommodate the continuity fuckery and differences in time travel logic. The only ABC show that will be considered fully "canon" is Agent Carter.

> The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will return, but when he does it'll be much closer in tone and character to the comics than he was in his Netflix series, less a "drifter in a political-thriller" and more a straight-up street-level vigilante. He'll wear the skull a lot more than he did on Netflix and likely appear as a side character in future TVMA/R-rated projects and stuff related to Daredevil, Deadpool and Blade etc. Though, I could see them working him into a PG-13 story for Spider-Man, Ghost Rider or Moon Knight.

> Like how the 616 comics retconned many Mutants into being Inhumans during the FOX years, MCU will retcon several Inhumans into being mutants to set up X-Men. I've had this theory for a while and we've already seen it confirmed (in part) with Ms. Marvel.

> I have no idea how Marvel Studios intends to handle The Runaways/Cloak & Dagger, Inhumans or Helstrom going forward and would think these are at the biggest risk of being retconned out of canon. I would like to believe that considering Anson Mount's return as an alternate Black Bolt in Multiverse of Madness that Feige has not forgotten about these other TV productions and we will see some of the actors be reintroduced as side characters in other projects, but there is certainly no such guarantee as there is for the Netflix shows.
