Always Nerdy has a few videos on YouTube around PT and Silent Hills. One video highlights some theories, and my favorite is that Norman Reedus’ character is a detective (he jokingly points out the “cool guy theater jacket detective”) in Silent Hill, and he’s actually experiencing several Otherworlds. Hence the title being plural. Even though PT states it isn’t reflective of the actual game, PT could be either Lisa or her husband’s Otherworld. It also makes sense why the Silent Hills concept trailer seems vastly different than what we saw in PT.
To me it’s the one that makes the most sense. Maybe one day we’ll know. Do we have any concrete evidence on anything about what the game was going to be about? I know Alanah Pearce said that the game was going to break the fourth wall, sending you texts and emails. Not sure what else we (me) know.
