So as we know, episode 14 of this season titled ‘Scars’ will be the day we find out how and why Michonne and Daryl share these ‘X’ shaped scars on their backs.
For those of you that watched Talking Dead after the mid-season premiere, you’ll know that Norman Reedus was quizzed about it. In response, he says something along the lines of ‘I can’t say too much, but those scars relate to something that just happened between the two of them’.
To me, this means Daryl and Michonne were part of something that none of the others are even aware of. Now whether that is violence on their part, something to do with another group we haven’t met (they met in the timeskip), I’ve honestly no idea. But Norman’s reveal of that information was actually a surprise to me. I assumed others knew but maybe didn’t have the scars. It makes me feel like it’s REALLY sinister that they’ve had to keep it from everyone else. On the flip side, the other communities seem semi-pissed at Michonne and Alexandria and the hints point to this event being the crux of the problem.
I truly cannot think of anything it could be, but I was wondering if anyone else has any good guesses as to what the hell happened!?
