Now this is just my opinion, and to clarify, i think Kojima and Del toro would've made a great Silent Hill game. but honestly i don't think it would've been as good as people think it was going to be. Del Toro and Kojima are great, nothing can take that away from them, but in my opinion
movie horror and video game horror are different, similar, yes. but still different. And Kojima is known for making very..movie-esq games, which Silent hill wasn't always about (it did kinda start that way with Konami wanting hollywood movie like Resident Evil) Though, my biggest problem honestly..Norman Reedus. He's a great actor, and i was once hated for saying this, but..as a Silent Hill protagonist i don't think he would have worked, instead of seeing some normal dude like Harry, or a depressed man with issues like James, I would have just seen that redneck from the walking dead and (in my opinion) it would've taken me out of the experience slightly. (Though if he voiced the character only and not being straight up modeled into the game, i think i would have enjoyed it more. but sadly the game that could have easily saved the franchise is dead)
