First off, the rainbow. An upside down rainbow (aka Bravais Arc) is a naturally occurring phenomenon caused by light reflecting off of ice crystals. A Bravais Arc will most commonly occur alongside cirrus clouds. Cirrus clouds occur naturally, but a man-made form can occur from contrails (vapor trails from jets). I don't believe the upside down rainbow necessarily signifies an alternate world I think it is just another symptom of a polluted world.
Now for the Jesus theory. I don't really think Reedus is actually Jesus but I think he could be a "Savior of Man" or at least inspired by Jesus. There is too much religious imagery in Auguries of Innocence to be ignored, and I think a lot of connections to the trailers as well. I have already heard theories about purgatory or the apocalypse so I wanted to add some of my own theories.
Firstly, you could pretty easily say that Mads and his boys could represent the anti-christ/the four horsemen. A small connection a noticed had to do with the doll:
"The child’s toys and the old man’s reasons
Are the fruits of the two seasons."
The doll is juxtaposed against Mads evil grin. We used to be children content with toys but now we have murdered each other and mother earth and her blood(oil) is flowing.
Another phrase that would liken Norman to a savior:
"Nought can deform the human race
Like to the armour’s iron brace."
Mads is in armor commanding troops. Del Toro is in a suit acting all seedy and shit. Reedus is naked and caring after an infant. Maybe he was sent to stop the deformation?
I believe the baby in the vat is Reedus somehow. I think Del Toro is making a deal with the devil by giving the baby to him. Another line from the poem:
"He who shall train the horse to war
Shall never pass the polar bar."
The "polar bar". Shmoop points out that this could be an Odyssey
reference: humans are said to enter the the underworld from the earth's poles. There is a youtube video that theorizes that the first trailer takes place on the south pole. I've also seen theorized that it takes place in Iceland. Hekla is a volcano in iceland also said to be a gate to hell.
Last one. In the book of revelations it is said that there are to be seven seals. The seals are secret info known only to God until the Lamb(Jesus) is deemed worthy to carry the knowledge. I think the 6 dogtags are 6 of the 7 seals. The first four unleash the four horsemen (Mads' goons), the next 2 unleash some bullshit including earthquakes, and the last one unleashes the motherload of bullshit. I'm guessing Norman Jesus just doesn't have that one yet.
