It's a wonderful show that highlights two very dysfunctional people and how they harass each other until they destroy their own personal lives (which are unsatisfying to them anyway). And at the end, after badly injuring each other, they embrace in a hospital bed.
I especially enjoy how actors show their talents, Ali Wong the acerbic comedian while Steven Yeun has interacted with wild actors like Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Wong goes from quiet wife to full attack mode, while Yeun is a great counter-puncher. But as damaged as both characters are, their flaws seemed to mesh perfectly.
I believe Beef will be renewed, and we'll see if Amy and Danny are together, united in their rage, or will they be separate but continue to harass each other. Personally, I like to see their nuttiness in the bedroom and around their home, but I doubt that's enough comedy and drama for 10 episodes.
