I absolutely hated the delivery of the line "we are not the walking dead" in the show.
First off Daryl said "we ain't the walking dead" which I guess was fitting for him, but the look to the side and the music cut off was so forced and felt like a trailer moment then an actually important speech.
also Daryl himself when rick said "we are the walking dead" Daryl straight away says "we ain't them" so they already butchered the impact already by him saying it already.
I mean yeah they changed rick's speech and delivery as well with " We tell ourselves… that we are the walking dead" but he delivered it so well and the story was cool, so I liked it.
sorry for the rant but it just really bugged me and I wanted to vent a little and see if anyone else agrees or not, also to Daryl fans please don't crucify me lol.
edit: just found out that Norman reedus was talked into saying it, so that is probably why lol
