What if there was a Walking Dead game, with the story of the tv show, but remastered as a game with some story changes for the sake of making it work as a game. It would feature the actors as the voice actors for the characters, such as Rick being voiced by Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus voicing Daryl, etc. The game would play as a 3rd person survival horror. Kind of like Resident Evil 2 remake.
Some of the story would be the same as the show but I think it should have some changes from the show since the show did have some story flaws, besides this game would be a remaster.
Gameplay would be like this: You can have a choice to run from zombies, hide, or fight them. You would have limited ammo so you would have to use it wisely. I think the atmosphere in-game should be creepy and melancholic. The way you would heal is to use First Aid Kits, you would also need to find food and water to maintain your hunger and thirst.
I also think that since there is always a home or safe spot in The Walking Dead, such as the prison, the camp, or hershel's farm, it should do what red dead redemption 2 did with Horseshoe Overlook. Use one of those as a home or base where you interact with the survivors, save your game, get resupplies, etc before next level.
