Blade 1 is one of the best vampire horror action films of the modern era-UNR
Blade 2 is consider the best of the series but imo I love the first one of the series. The opening rave scene was one of my all time favorite directed horror scenes of the 90s. I wish they brought back the doctor from the first film in the rest of the series. Im not a huge fan of Blade 2 except for Norman Reedus. The Lord Voldemort lookalike vampire king was boring imo. Donal Logue played a fun villain. Overall i have a huge soft spot for the first film. Wish itd get the praise 2 gets.

Norman Reedus is watching AS4 🤣-UNR
PT was always Death Stranding.PT is both both a sequel and prequel to Death Stranding. A videogame Sam played 20 years later after Death STranding.-UNR
This theory will work in two parts,as it is needed to explain the whole concept that it is working on, how PT works as both a prequel(if only horror themes are taken in account) and a sequel (if both horror and videogame beach themes are taken in account) of Death Stranding.
Remember, this is just a theory, take it as you like, as a madman´s ideas, a lie, a mistruth, a “wetwork” as some say…or just as it is,a theory, that most likely,is wrong.
First Part: As a prequel it is what happens after the death of Cliff and Sam as a BB.
PT is basicallly Cliff rescuing Sam´s Ka(soul) from the beach of his mother Lisa or Sam himself.
If it is Lisa´s beach, this could happen since Sam was actually never "born" hence he went to Lisa´s beach since he never was "himself",he was a part of his mother,Lisa. This can happen since it is shown in Death Stranding that both Lockne and Mama shared a beach due to being born as “one”.
This is how he ends on his mother´s beach.
The house corridor in PT.
The Lisa from PT is the same Lisa from Death Stranding, who gets shot on what could be the right eye when Cliff shoots her trough a pillow.
This gives the Lisa from PT the hole in her eye.
Cliff is sent to this beach thanks to Amelie, who is also able to communicate with him trough one of PT´s photos,in this case the one she is able to communicate trough is the one near the clock that says:
"My voice can you hear it?,this sign can you read it?I´ll wait forever if you´ll just come to me".
This is Amelie in her beach trying to communicate with Cliff so he can bring Sam´s Ka back to her so she is able to revive Sam.She has remind Cliff of this because Cliff has memory problems while he is in a beach,as it is shown in Death STranding itself, hence why she leaves these memory “hints”.
We are shown at least once that Cliff has no reproductive organs(he has no penis or testicles) when he is bathed in mud.
The reason he has neither its because Lisa from PT actually cut them off.
When?
This can be "heard" when Lisa kills you the first time in PT,since she trhows the player to the ground, then a zipper being opened can be heard, then a the sound of something meaty and fleshy being cut off following it.
The game restarts and you find yourself in the starting room again, but this time, you can find the infamous philosophical prophet Mr. Bloodied paper bag, also known as Cliff´s dick and balls.
Philosophical prophet Mr.Bloodied paper bag also gives us hints to DS but this will be explained later.
We have the PT “poem solution” which was various photo fragmentsthat one could collect ,that traducted would be something like this:
“I whispered your name, but the wind of the night took your voice away.”
“I didn't move anymore during the waiting, then his finger slipped on my hand.”
“It was a cold hand, body was trembling.”
“Never moving a step, his hand in mine, I waited for it to pass.”
“And through the mist of fading consciousness I believed, I heard a phone.”
Tough not exact, this poem has kinda a parallel with the DS scene where Amelie first repatriates BB Sam after he was shot in his stomach and killed,as the whole “the wind of the night took your voice away” and “cold hand” could refer to a dead body, and “waited for it to pass” can be a reference as how Sam´s stomach bullet hole starts repairing until he “revives”.
We also have another PT radio backwards message solution:
“We share an instant of private darkness”
“The moment our hands overlap”
“I walked till I stood one pace before Jack”
“Heart pounding”
“Su toque... frio como el marmol (Spanish: His/her touch... cold like marble)”
“Tanto, que todo él temblaba (Spanish: So much, that he was trembling)”
“J'ai chuchotté son nom (French: I whispered his name(Jack))”
“Et la nuit a emporté le son de sa voix (French: And the night took the sound of his voice away)”
It is known that to solve the last part of PT one needed to say the name “Jack” to the PS4 controller or headset, but this is where the “trap” comes in.
Jack is a name given in USA to those with the name John.
Who has the name John in Death Stranding?
Die-Hardman,whose real name is John McClane,as it is shown in one of Death Stranding´s multiple mail´s.
What this poem shows is the scene where Die-Hardman,John,”Jack” as someone familiar to him such as Bridget or Cliff would call him, directs his gun at Cliff,”instant of private darkness”,for him to end up klilling Cliff and baby Sam due to Bridget using her own hand over his to shoot the gun ( “The moment our hands overlap”” His/her touch... cold like marble”),just for the bullet to take Cliff´s live( “ And the night took the sound of his voice away”)
Second Part:PT as a sequel would function as a “Virtual reality beach” Sam himself is playing 20 years after DS´s "true" ending.
This can be shown when the infamous "J crash" happens:
" Knowing you, I was sure you'd notice this game and play it. I will never – can never – forget that day 20 years ago. I have something to tell you. Contact me. – J."
Who is J? This can be answered thanks to Death Stranding.
Die Hardman, who we already know is John McClane.
We know that Die Hardman would be unable or would have it very hard to find Sam after the ending of DS, since Sam incinerated his BRIDGES cuffs after Deadman deactivated them.
This would make it near to impossible, very time consuming or very difficult to find Sam,who most likely went AWOL to be able to raise BB, Louise, his daughter.Even worse,20 years has passes since they had their last meeting ,so the only way to call him is to "throw lots of papers into the wind" so to speak and hope Sam catches one.
Bridges somehow found a way to use the chiral net to recreate beaches or elements inside them trough virtual realities, in this case,PT , a videogame made with this discovery to find Sam espcifically, since he would be able to recognise his mother as the games monster,Lisa.
Sam would be like:"Why the fuck is this game´s monster my mother?"Then play it to make sure if it was her or not.
Die Hardman is not the only one to "appear" inside PT trough these "crashes",most likely Heartman,Fragile,Lockne and Deadman also developed the game and left messages in it,each one being identified trough different colors in these messages, the colors being red(Deadman who always uses red),black(Fragile whose suit is black) and yellow(Heartman, whose heart defibrillator is yellow,)grey(Lockne, kinda via elimination), and white (Die Hardman).
Trough PT you can find various portraits, who in the past where found to be extremely similar to certain places in DS,One is a little river that is shown in one of the trailers, and the other is the tunnel that Deadman and BB pass trough.
In PT´s bathroom, you can find a mirror that is dirty, fuzzy,so you cannot see Norman Reedus´s face, but just below this mirror you can find a tap where the famous crying dead fetus monster resides. This is a representation that this dead fetus is Sam himself,as he was a dead fetus,as Sam was killed as a baby by Bridget. You cannot see your “identity” trough a mirror,it is fuzzy, yet just below it,you can see a “parto f you” your “past”… a dead BB Sam.
Also the great prophetic philosopher Mr.Bloodied Paper Bag great and only meessage to us is also a "description" of DS itself:
"I walked. I could do nothing but walk. And then, I saw me walking in front of myself. But it wasn't really me. Watch out. The gap in the door... it's a separate reality. The only me is me. ¿Are you sure the only you is you?"
a)"I walked. I could do nothing but walk":this is a reference to how DS as a game works,DS is famously known as a "walking simulator" by many.
b)"And then, I saw me walking in front of myself. But it wasn't really me":The game various times makes hints that there are other Sam Porter Brdiges in existance,as if they exist in other universes, this is also shown by the white Sam´s of other players that throw items to help the player.
It´s you,Sam, but they are not really you, since they are other players.
c)"Watch out. The gap in the door... it's a separate reality.":This might refer to a way to enter other player´s world,to enter other universes or other realities.Or just to the way Sam is able to enter to the seam and beaches. It is known that the ítems you find in DS´s map in the middle of nowhere actually exist thanks to some sort of “portal”.
Now the question is.
For what purpose does Die Hardman need Sam?
This is the most speculative part of the theory.
it is possible that the sequel, dlc of the game is what is shown in the Ludens trailer.
We know that at least Ludens exists inside DS ,as Sam has a trinket of Ludens attached to BB´s pod.We also know that Die Hardman´s mask is the Ludens mask itself.
It is possible that Ludens himself is Sam Porter Bridges, and that the suit lets him "enhance" his DOOMS ability,in this case, the ability that is enhanced is Sam´s ability to "experience" virtual realities inside his "conciousness".
The virtual realities Sam has experienced inside his concioussnes are the visions of his past when he was a BB, wich are able to be experienced when he connects to the chiral net trough BB.
That is why Sam sometimes even thinks time has been stopped or "enlarged" whenever he had one,it was a VR that happened "inside" him. This is also shown in PT as the clock that is always on 11:59,only continuing when you are near the end of the game, where it finally hits 12:00,meaning that time is finally going its normalc course, just as what happens whenever Sam saw his visions.
The last vision, the one were he is shown how he is killed together with Cliffs is the one that tells us this, as when one of the soldiers passes trough him,Sam himself becomes "blue light",almost as how some holograms in sci-fi are showed.
The reason the light is blue coloured its because the seam itself is where the data is pulled from, since the seam´s color is mentioned to be blue in one of the info chips.
We know at least that Ludens himself is able to "recreate" or "project" virtual realities over the physical world thanks to the trailer, but interestingly enough, the thing he "summons" is a white whale.
One of the few things that are shown to us inside the seam whenever Sam dies is well... a white whale, that maybe, is the same white whale that Ludens is able to summon.
To end up this theory, there is a final hint in PT:"This game is a teaser,it has no direct relation to the main title"
PT is the game that is a teaser, but this says it has no direct relation with the main title. The main title being SIlent Hills.
Could this mean that the game,PT,was teasing Silent Hills, but it was not the "real" game it was showing us trough its narrative?
Maybe...the real game it was teasing was always ...Death Stranding.
How? That is up to you,as i can´t know what was in Kojima´s mind, and after all, this is just a theory, and all i hope,if i am wrong with it or not,is that at least , you the reader, has been entertained.
Have a nice day and i hope you enjoyed it.
PD:
I also want to the Gazer Crew,as without any of them this theory wouldnt be póssible,as most if not all the findings here are theirs.
If you need some reminders of the elements of PT,here is a link for those elements of script/story:

Dishes Stranding - Chinese delivery service humming bird (Feng niao) delivery equipped this guy with exoskeleton, making him Norman Reedus IRL-UNR
Picking this game up today. I know almost nothing about it and am beyond excited.-UNR
I know very little things about DS. I know that Norman Reedus is the main character, and Mads Mikkelsen and Lea Seydoux play roles in this game as characters, but I don't know what roles they fill. This is pretty exciting for me as I like a lot of films that they cast in.
I also know that the overall main premise of the game is essentially reconnecting a post-apocalyptic world of sorts slowly back together, mainly by delivering needed goods from points A > B. I am aware that you can also if you so choose help other players traverse the environment by building things to help them in their very own playthroughs. This is cool because it reminds me of the notes and such in Souls games.
Other than that though, I don't know much else about the game. All I know is last night I was re-watching Prometheus and the opening scene with the Engineer standing on the rocky waterfall immediately reminded me of some photos I've seen of Death Stranding's landscapes. It was right then and there that I decided that it's time to experience the game for myself.
My local store can price match Best Buy's current $34.99 deal, so I'll be picking it up today. I've been on the fence w/ picking up this game since its release, but for this price I'm going to finally bite the bullet.
Hopefully I enjoy it!

After six months, almost four hundred deliveries, through about a dozen pairs of boots and with everyone but the Veteran Prepper, the First Prepper and He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named at maximum connection, the Last Stranding has been averted [personally, I would have preferred to end it quick and clean but I'm kind of a fatalist].
Story: The world as we know it has been decimated by a cataclysmic events called the Death Stranding [massive explosions caused by the living coming into contact with creatures from limbo basically called BTs or Beached Things]. These creatures also saturated the sky with chiralium [a particle that causes anything it touches to age uncontrollably]. Whenever it rains, destruction pours from the sky [called timefall in this world]. Now, most people live in isolated colonies called knot cities and rely on porters for all their essential needs. Porters like our protagonist, Sam Porter Bridges [as brought to life by the awesome Norman Reedus]. Did you know he has a show on AMC called Ride w/ Norman Reedus? Sam is the epitome of most people (in the former USA anyway, the rest of the world is a giant question mark) in the post Stranding world: mistrustful of all other people and driven only by self interest. He is literally afraid of being touched [aphenphosmphobia]. The only person Sam cares for is his sister Amelie. When she is abducted by terrorists, Sam reluctantly gets on board with connecting all the major knot cities to the chiral network [the internet on an anabolic steroids] to rescue her. How? One foot in front of the other and one package at a time.
Gameplay: Like many things in life it's not everyone's pint of ice cream. It does take a few chapters to really pick up but once it does, it becomes enjoyably addictive. As I mentioned previously, Sam is delivering much needed and wanted packages to isolated knot cities and isolated individuals. The heart of the game is as simple as that. Delivering packages to increase Sam's connection level to the knot city or individual usually involves the following metrics: quantity, condition and time. The major obstacles to high delivery scores are BTs, mules [former porters single mindedly stealing packages to deliver in a doomed existential loop]. I would recommend bumping up the difficulty one level higher than you think necessary. Outside of a few bullet sponge BTs, combat is not overly difficult. In fact, it's a nice break between all the deliveries. Cruising through about a third of the game is probably a good way to come away with the impression that the game is absolutely boring.
Sound: Absolutely amazing soundtrack! Low Roar is easily a new favorite band of mine. After reaching certain milestones in the story [particularly, during key deliveries], you're rewarded with a thematically perfect song [one of my favorites is "Gosia"].
Graphics: The environments were well detailed, you have a nice selection of customization options for vehicles [although it's a little disappointing that alternate outfits for Sam aren't available until postgame] and the mocapping of the actors was great with minimal uncanny valley [my impression at least]
Overall: 9/10 grading on a curve. 7/10 w/o the curve.
Final Fantasy VII Remake It's the end game now. The only thing left is helping the survivors of sector 7 and the residents of sector 5 deal with the aftermath of the plate collapse [I seriously didn't think it would happen up until it actually happened]. And our branch of Avalanche is left devastated! Once most of that is done, it's off to save Princess Peach [ can't leave Aerith in Shinra's clutches any longer than I have to!] One final note, it was actually fun playing Barret solo. I admit I didn't like him at first [not a fan of boisterous people] but he's grown on me.
The Last of Us Part II Well, I was wrong about the twist and Abby's target. Otherwise, Part II is almost as brutal as reviews made it out to be. Maybe I'm desensitized but I wasn't overwhelmed by most of the kills [at least not until the second half]. The second half is really making me feel guilty about all the dogs Ellie has killed [she really let's them have it!]. I wasn't expecting Dina to be Ellie's Ellie but I'm glad she ended up coming along [though I can already tell that she doesn't quite have the stomach, pun unintended, for the things revenge necessitates]. And I seriously want to see every single one of the people that were in the room with Abby dead. As for Abby herself? I want that one to be a slow kill of quality. I'm talking about a God of War III, kicking the crap out of Poseidon and gouging out his eyes, quality kill! I reeeeaaaaaallllllyyyyyyyy want to kill Abby [and I'm only half playing this up for effect]. Gods damn it Druckman! I went from wanting to decorate a Christmas tree with Abby's organs and tissues to liking her and the WLF in the span of two days! She is a badass! Smart, more ripped than a phone book thrown at the Hulk, selfless...she's a person! Not some one dimensional villain for me to righteously kill with impunity! And her friends that I mowed down with satisfaction earlier as Ellie?! All people! Norah's death is going to come back in my nightmares...or Mel's death... Seriously Druckman, wtf?! Way to ruin my revenge quest with "perspective" and "humanizing both sides"! I feel like Two Face! Every time I move closer to liking Abby and co, I'm reminded [usually by Abby herself that she killed Joel!] Then she goes to the mat for her friends and even helps some Scars [Seraphites]! This ending is going to suck!

Let Me See the Dick in 'Ghost of Tsushima' - Vice-UNR
'Ghost of Tsushima' is a real tease but doesn't go as far as full frontal.
This is not even the only time we've been robbed of a video game penis this month. Last week, Death Stranding, Kojima's uncanny game about Norman Reedus being a futuristic Amazon delivery guy, came out on PC. If you've played it, you know that piss is an important commodity in the early game, and that the player can choose to make Reedus pee on command. On consoles, this animation was always framed from the back, keeping it PG. On PC, with players being able to hack and move the camera around, we got to finally see Kojima Productions didn't render a penis for Reedus. When you turn the camera around, he's peeing out of a ghost dick.
...
Video games often will portray female characters in revealing clothing or completely nude, if only to titillate a particularly horny segment of its audience that's into that kind of thing. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but it would feel a lot more fair if games like Ghost of Tsushima just went the extra step and at least gave us the option to see Sakai's dick.
Would it be accurate to say western made video games often portray women characters like that the past few years?
I think western games mostly stopped portraying women like that after some certain feminist youtube videos about tropes become popular. And those same videos that were often called 'basic feminism 101' say that equal opportunity objectification is not the answer. That means no penis. You should be appreciating the protagonist's character as a full and complete human being, not reducing him to his reproductive organs. (If you claim it's possible appreciate both reproductive organs and character in the same game I would agree with you but feminist media theories usually present this as a choice of one or the other, can't do both.)
Actually, the male butt we do see in this game is still problematic and I think it should be patched out to save and protect men from the harmful video game. At least until everyone agrees it is fine again for western video games to include content designed to titillate any straight men who happen to be in the audience. Once that happens they should patch the butt back in.
Would everyone agree there is nothing inherently wrong if the next Horizon game or Tomb Raider game let the player see the protagonist naked a bunch in a bunch of baths or hot springs placed around the game world with a gameplay benefit for using them? I get the feeling that would be a controversial decision that would never happen because of the controversy and popular medai theories about what's sexist/harmful to put into a video game, despite the fact that a bunch of people would really enjoy that content. I don't think this would happen even if we only see her butt.
If this type of content is fine with men characters it should be fine with women characters. If this type of content is not fine with women characters it should not be fine with men characters. I don't think men and women should be treated differently by media because I am not a sexist.
What is the last AAA game made by a western developer with a woman playable character that let the player see that protagonist completely naked with full frontal nudity? Anybody know the answer to this trivia question? (I don't.)
Just played this for the first time. (P.C) [ENDGAME]-UNR
This game is going to stick with me. Not many do that, but this will. It's made me appreciate Norman Reedus a lot more than I did before, I liked him but after his performance in DS i love him. The characters are all so memorable especially the adorably quirky Fragile and the story was excellent yet harrowing, keep on keepin' on Kojima.
Forgot to mention the graphics and sound design, holy moly. Breathtaking. The songs used were haunting, reflecting the desolate and bleak yet gorgeous landscape excellently.
My only gripe is that I kept falling over and making Sam look like less of a badass in the process, but that was probably user error.
Combat was impactful because it was almost optional, but tight, especially the hand to hand combat, every punch felt like it was intended and had force, >! especially the fight with Higgs, Jesus did that feel good!<
The B.T's are some of the most terrifying enemies I have ever encountered, especially when they start moving. The M.U.L.E.S were relentless, exactly how they are supposed to be.
This is my personal opinion after playing the game for the first time, just felt like sharing and hoping that my opinion is the with the general consensus. Here, have 20 likes for being a part of the consensus 👍

Post-Apocalyptic Zombie TV Series the Walking Dead Renewed For 11th Season-UNR
There is a reason for the Walking Dead fans to be delighted. AMC has renewed its post-apocalyptic zombie show for all those who are not aware of this exciting news for an 11th season. The makers also confirmed the return of Lauren Cohen’s character Maggie as a regular in the upcoming season. Cohen’s character left mid-way in season 10, and her return was shown in the latest season’s finale. Season 10 Ep 15 The Tower welcomed Juanita Sanchez, Princess, a character from The Walking Dead comics.
📷
Is Maggie Going to Come Back a Changed Person?
In an interview with a media outlet, Lauren Cohen addressed her character returning after a time jump in the show. Cohen reportedly said that Maggie would have picked up a few things on the road after leaving The Hilltop. She also talked about Maggie’s relationship with her son and how spending time and growing with her son has affected her as a person. The actor also said that it would be fun to understand what motivated Maggie’s return to help her friends.
Addressing where her character left off things with her husband Glenn’s killer Negan, Cohen said that it is something she can only send once she comes face to face with the former Saviours’ leader. The Walking Dead actor also said that the viewers might witness to what extent Maggie has decided to change herself and forgive people who have destroyed her life.
However, the announcement made was way back in 2019. The makers released an official statement on October 5, 2019, a few days before the red-carpet premiere of the tenth season. In March 2020, the pre-production of season 11 was temporarily shelved, and the filming was also delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We Have Enough Material for The Next Couple of Years”
In the year 2014, the executive producer of the show, David Alpert, stated that storylines from the original comics had churned enough ideas for the show to continue for a couple of years. AMC CEO, Josh Sapan, in the year 2018, also stated that the company has plans on continuing the show for another ten years alongside new films and television series based on the original comic books.
The Walking Dead: A Story of Survival in a Post-Apocalyptic World
The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic television series based on the comic book written by Robett Kirkman, Charlie Adlard, and Tony Moore. The highly-rated series features a vast cast. The story shows a group of survivors of a worldwide zombie apocalypse. However, with the fall of human civilization, the group faces a constant threat from other survivors, leading to a full-blown gory war between both the communities.
The show’s lead character, Rick Grimes, was played by Love Actually fame Andrew Lincoln before leaving the show in season 9. The Walking Dead’s other primary characters include Norman Reedus(Daryl), Mellisa McBride(Carol), Jeffery Dean Morgan(Negan), Lauren Cohen(Maggie), etc.
The Walking Dead Universe Spinoffs
The Walking dead universe is so big that the makers have created many spin-offs. One of them is Fear of the Walking Dead, which has already completed five seasons. The story of this show is featured through the character of a school guidance counsellor, Madison Clark. It serves as a prequel to the Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond
The other spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, will be a treat for all fans. It is a limited two-season series created by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete and is going to premiere on AMC. Both the seasons will only consist of 10 episodes each before reaching its conclusion. The story is set in Nebraska, a decade after the apocalypse. It will feature two female protagonists and will focus on the new generation growing up in a world full of chaos and overrun by walkers.
This show was going to premiere on April 12, 2020, on AMC after the season 10 finale of the original Walking Dead series in the hit franchise. However, the pandemic delayed the finale’s premiere and forced the makers to postpone the release of The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Yet, in the United Kingdom, the series will be released on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. The first official trailer was released at New York Comic Con on October 5, 2019, followed by a second trailer on November 25, 2019.

Just finished rewatching 9x05-UNR
As the title says I just finished watching Rick's last episode for the second time, and I forgot how amazing this episode was. I knew this episode was going to be emotional but I forgot how much.
I'll start off with Negan in this episode. JDM had always been a great actor but when he's with Maggie begging to die it's just amazing. You can feel his pain and you can feel how much he just wants to be with Lucille.
I absolutely loved Rick's dream/hausantion things with past characters. His one with Shane was amazing because for parts of it they act like they're just hanging out in that cop car and they're just talking. The one with Herschel was amazing because seeing Scott Wilson and Andrew Lincoln act together again is just incredible. And the one with Sasha was amazing because it was just good. And the one we're everyone begins to save Rick on the bridge is amazing because Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln act together beautifully and it was just amazing. (Sorry I know I'm saying amazing a lot but apparently I don't have better words to describe anything.)
Rick being on the bridge and blowing it up is an incredible scene for many reasons. And also I takes a lot to see Daryl cry so you know the scene is emotional when he does, (also Norman Reedus is just a great actor.)
I had also forgotten that they introduced Judith at the end of the episode and let me just say her introduction was fantastic.
Overall 9x05 is an absolutely amazing episode. I love this show so much and I care a lot about it so seeing incredible episodes like this one is perfect.
(I probably forgot somethings but oh well. Also I hope all this made sense. I'm bad with wording things sometimes sorry. This is all just my opinion feel free to disagree.)
Who voiced the fetus/radio speaker in P.T.?-UNR
It is driving so crazy I can't easily find out the guy voiced the fetus/radio guy in P.T. I do not recognize his voice to be someone well-known actor or voice actor.
I'm assuming the person who did is American. I do not think it was Norman Reedus- if so great voice acting to disguise himself- but I do not think so.
Whoever voiced the radio speaker/fetus did a great job in P.T. and it sucks that it's not even revealed who did it.
What do you people think?
Bike physics are so hilariously horrible and there will be no redemption for them!! }:-)-UNR
I hear people say that it's so bad to make you walk over difficult terrain on foot, but that's just fallacy, as if driving in this game had physics and you could crash from uncareful driving, that would still make traversing bad terrain difficult and even more than that punishing, yet so much more enjoyable. As it stands it feels like you're glued to the bike and the ground. I don't know what you must do to fall off the bike, worst things that can happen is bike getting stuck on a rock. Seems so stupid to me! When you have such in-depth walking mechanics and then such simplistic driving! And Norman Reedus RIDES BIKES IRL, couldn't he, like, say to Kojima smth like "hey man, this doesn't really feel as good as IRL, maybe you should change this and that?"

Interested in the game but more interested in what it is?-UNR
I got recommended something on YouTube about the game while it was a PS exclusive I didn't really care to look into it. Now that it's advertised EVERYWHERE since hitting the shelves of PC I decided to look into it more.
I see I play as Norman Reedus, Single player, in a post-apocalyptic world...but what is going on? The following is not mocking the game in any way as I'm sure its very positive according to pretty much every article and review but here's my intake so far:
A very dark in depth survival setting of a post-apocalyptic Amazon Prime delivery man struggling to climb across endless mountains to hand lazy hunkered down people their packages while he risks his life from shadow demons crawling through the ground. All while carrying enough packages to be mistaken as the tower of Pisa and a baby stuffed in an orange jar.
Ive looked around online but I can't find a good explanation of what the game is, what there is to do, how long it lasts, how to not get bored, why people enjoy it so much, etc.
I feel bad even making a comparison but I don't want to buy the game and then get slapped in the face with sh*t I had no idea about like Metal gear Survive's terrible campaign/COOP. I'm sorry if i'm not asking in the right place or if posts like this come up often but I'm looking for real answers with no spoilers.

New Info on The Walking Dead Onslaught-UNR
Later this year players will be able to jump back in the world of The Walking Dead with The Walking Dead Onslaught. This new VR game drops players right in the middle of the popular TV show and allow them to play as iconic characters including Rick, Daryl, and Carol. Last year Screen Rant was able to test out an early version of the game, and it was a great experience. We recently had the chance to sit down with the developer Survios' project lead Andrew Abedian, and he was able to fill us in on some of the details for The Walking Dead Onslaught.
Survios has a long history with working on VR games. The first game that the company developed was Raw Data, which won several awards and was one of the most popular early VR games. Eventually Survios went on to create both Creed: Rise to Glory and Westworld: Awakening. Both of these titles have performed very well with critics and players alike, and Survios has garnered a lot of praise for their work. A couple of years ago though they were then contacted by AMC to begin working on a The Walking Dead game.
Andrew Abedian tells us that AMC has been very involved and helpful with the process of making The Walkibg Dead Onslaught. Survios has access to many of the show's writers, allowing the developers to create something unique that still fits within the show's storyline. Because of this Survios was able to set the game in between the 9th and 10th seasons of the AMC TV series without worrying about any continuity issues. Several of the actors from the show are involved as well, like Norman Reedus returning as the voice of Daryl Dixon in the game.
One of the most interesting aspects of The Walking Dead Onslaught is that the game will be split into two distinct parts. Players will be able to play as Daryl for the game's campaign. Abedian says that during the course of the campaign Daryl is attempting to help save someone, but he is in direct conflict with Rick who is trying to rebuild society as a whole. Players also have the ability to play as Rick, Carol, and few other characters during the game's scavenger runs. These are missions that players can go on to collect supplies in order to rebuild the city of Alexandria.
Rebuilding Alexandria opens up some avenues for unique gameplay for The Walking Dead Onslaught. As players obtain more resources and supplies they can choose to build and upgrade the buildings of the city. This will alter the way that Alexandria looks, but will also give players access to skills and buffs that can increase their combat abilities. This also means that players must decide who to best use limited resources. The example that Abedian gave is having to decide between a combat buff or a building that makes food for the community.
According to Abedian, combat in The Walking Dead Onslaught allows players to experiment with different kinds of weapons to eliminate walkers in unique ways. Players will have many types of weapons at their disposal, and killing walkers can be brutal. Players will be able to slice off limbs, behead enemies, or even skewer them with a sword and other sharp weapons. Abedian believes that this gives the game a level of realism that intentionally feels at home with the TV show.
The Walking Dead video games haven't had the best track record over the years. The TellTale series did very well, but games based specifically on the TV show have tended to lean towards simple cash grabs on the popular series. Abedian stated that Survios has tried to avoid going for the same lackluster attempts at adapting The Walking Dead. Unlike other studios, Survios has a lot of experience with adapting other media into video game format. Additionally, the team has put more than two years worth of work into making sure the game is solid. With the added benefit of Survios having access to some of the same resources that the TV show does, The Walking Dead Onslaught is shaping up to be something special.
That doesn't mean that there haven't been challenges to go along with creating The Walking Dead Onslaught. COVID-19 threw a large wrench in the studios plans. Like most video game studios, Survios had to move to doing work on the game from home. This was a strain on the team at first, but they were able to adjust quickly and get everything finished on schedule. The Walking Dead Onslaught's release date is not yet set, but the game is expected to release sometime in 2020. There should also be a gameplay trailer that releases at some point during over this summer. There will be more information once this trailer releases, but as of right now The Walking Dead Onslaught sounds like a blast.

CMV: Video games featuring famous actors are ruining the immersion and fantasy of games.-UNR
I have been seeing a lot of AAA games featuring famous actors in their games, and I think this ruins the immersion of the game. Games such as Cyberpunk feature Keanu Reaves, Death Stranding with Norman Reedus and now Far Cry 6 with Giancarlo Esposity (Gus from Breaking Bad).
I know full well each time I see one of these characters in a game I am going to think “Hey, that’s Gus from Breaking Bad”, instead of being immersed in his actual character. These actors are too famous, and ruin the immersion of video games by taking you out of the fantasy because they look exactly like themselves in the real world.
We are going down a path where we will be seeing a lot more actors taking roles in video games. The last thing I want is a game full of Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise and Leonardo Dicaprio leading the roles of video games.
One argument I see often is that actors play different characters in movies, so why not games? Games are much different than movies. These famous actors can portray a role in various movies, and that’s okay because you are part of the audience, and a story is being told to you. You aren’t necessarily immersed the same as playing a game. In video games, you are INVOLVED in the story, and should be fully immersed in all aspects. Having Tom Hanks enter a cut scene would be completely distracting and ruins the immersion in that moment.
Another argument is that it is cheaper to model animations from a real person. But is it really cheaper to pay an A list actor to feature in your game? I doubt there is any real savings there. Using actors is obviously a marketing ploy to attract players to a game, but I really do not think we need famous actors breaking immersion of the game for the sake of marketing.

Most of the game is just people talking AT him whilst he’s looking at them, and when he does show some personality (in bunkers), it comes across as jarring and out of character kinda because of how isolated it is from the rest of the game. If only he had the same amount of thought and care which was put into Mads Mickellson’s character.. PS i love the game. Replayed it 4 times and am considering starting a new playthrough tomorrow cause i’m on episode 5 of Hannibal ;)

Death Stranding - This isn't a walking simulator.-UNR
There will be no spoilers in this post.
Yesterday, right about midnight, I finished the latest creation from video game auteur Hideo Kojima, a game that really surprised me... in a lot of ways. After all those trailers showing a lot but saying absolutely anything at all that would shed some kind of light into what the game was about... I was curious and ready to take a hike in another game world by the creative 'legendary' creator.
When the first reviews where coming out the term 'Walking Simulator' was thrown around a lot. I, for one, was excited; I'm no stranger to walking sims and often find them enjoyable for one reason or another. They usually shift the creative focus into the narrative and leave all the game-play to just pushing forward on the stick... and with all that symbolisms thrown around in the trailers I was more than intrigued. I was also all in because the beautiful scenarios the world map presented, from lush green fields to snowy mountain tops, looked breathtaking and a bit alien (accompanying music from Low Roar was a stroke of genius and fit the mood brilliantly).
But, here's the thing: In Death Stranding walking is the game-play.
What do I mean by that? Well... I was lead to believe I would have Norman Reedus push forward through a lot of beautiful scenarios while my mind would have time to drift off and take the scenery in or worry about some other thing. Pathologic (Classic HD at least) is a survival game where most of all you do is walk back and forth in a town tied to a tight time schedule, if you take a wrong turn you might loose precious minutes that could very well mean the difference between life and death. So each step you take makes you worry over time and how little resources you have to survive through the day all while taking in the mood of a timeless and alien European miserable looking town... I thought Death Stranding would be something like that, just push forward. But it is not.
When I say the main game play if Death Stranding is walking i mean that everything was built around the mechanics of walking. Everything from terrain and balance to footwear and momentum where turned into a game mechanic you have to keep an eye on in order to successfully carry your task to completion. Yes, you can just push forward but you will only make yourself miserable and frustrated as all hell.
With all that going on with each step there's very little room to drift off and take the scenery in. I was slightly disappointed by this but marveled at how such an overlooked and big part of most video games was reworked into its own game and given a central stage.
Death Stranding isn't a game for everyone. It isn't an action game. It isn't an 60 hour long film. It isn't a blackbuster. And above all else... it isn't a walking simulator.

Issue with 1 Game (Death Stranding) on my PS4-UNR
Hi all! I posted about this in the "Death Stranding" sub months ago, but I seem to (still) have an issue with just this game. No other games have any weird glitches. But with "Death Stranding", I do get a graphics glitch after the opening ends (basically when Norman Reedus throws up his hood and speeds off and you're about to actually start playing, I start getting weird glitches).
I think it's just this game, as again, no other issues at all come up but I am wondering if it's even worth trying to fix, or have Best Buy look at it or send to Sony? I don't really want a refurbished one and I'm pretty sure it's not a sign my graphics card is about to die, but wanted your expert thoughts.
I have the PS4 Pro Spiderman version (red with the white spider logo on it).

Great price for a really great game. If you missed the Monster Shop deal this might be the next best thing.
Death Stranding is the next big epic from the creator of Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima. As you'd expect it's big, ambitious and kind of weird. It's an open-world action game, though Kojima has suggested that in the same way that the original MGS games weren't classed as 'stealth' because no-one had a word for what they were doing yet, Death Stranding is in a category that we don't understand yet. That's a pretty lofty thing to say, but it's fair that there's a whole lot going on in Death Stranding that calling it an open-world action game fails to capture. In Death Stranding the world has become fractured, plagued by supernatural weirdness that keeps humanity isolated and living in walled cities. The player's job, as Sam Porter Bridges, is to do the work of bridging those gaps and reconnecting our fragmented society. Thematically, Kojima is interested in what he refers to as ropes, the things that tie humans together but also the connections between life and death. When Sam dies, he reemerges in an upside-down, submerged world. When he returns to the land of the living any damage he did when he died persists persists in the wordl. There's also a type of rain called 'Timefall' which ages anything it touches, and the ability to wander outside your body. So, yes, weird. The game has a cast that qualifies as 'all-star' not just by videogames standards, but by TV and Hollywood standards too. Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker and Lindsay Wagner have all provided not just voice work, but extensive motion capture too. While pinning down exactly what Death Stranding is may be the work of a lifetime, you can be sure that it's going to be strange, ambitious and epic.

A Love Letter to Death Stranding's Truck-UNR
I have fallen in love with this game and especially the truck. This is a weird thing I wrote to try and explain just why it feels so special to me.
The first several hours of Death Stranding have you (as Norman Reedus (as Sam Porter Bridges)) delivering dozens if not hundreds of kilos of packages on foot through a ghost-infested wasteland. Your shoes are wearing out, you’re forcing Sam to jack-hammer six bottles of Monster Energy to stay awake, you’re tumbling off a cliff and watching all your precious packages scatter to the winds. It is rough. It is so rough that once you finally unlock the privilege of constructing your own trucks you will feel like the god of this Icelandic nightmare. From the high perch of the driver’s seat you WILL ensure people get their pizzas on time.
The distinct beauty of this truck is that it behaves very much like a truck. It is not the horse from Skyrim, capable of standing perpendicular to ninety-degree cliffs. It does not have the impossible-road-hugging-silkiness of Forza Horizon 4’s Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck. In Death Stranding, your truck is a Real truck. It is powerful, but it has limits that you must respect (or rather, you will respect them after cratering into a ravine that you naively tried to shortcut over). From beginning to end, Death Stranding is a game about overcoming struggle, not removing it entirely. The Death Stranding truck (henceforth DST) allows massive, speedy deliveries, but you forgo nimbleness and manoeuvrability until you obtain intimate knowledge of its behaviour.
In appearance, it’s a bit like a lifted UPS truck. It has a large cab, covered bed, and bulbous curves. With the press of the X button, it can do a little hop. It does a cool stilt-leg thing when driving through deep water that keeps the chassis from getting wet. Press in the left stick and its electric-engine offers up a hefty speed boost. While you can (and I did) construct highways across the leftovers of the United States, the real beauty is found in taking your DST off-road. The DST was custom built for the end of the world. It can go up nearly any incline, but it will tumble if you make one wrong move. With enough persistence, it has the power to let you get yourself into deep, deep trouble when you lose traction and start sideways-sliding downhill towards a terrorist outpost.
You will get yourself high-centred on some basalt pillar or outcropping. Any other truck, and that’d be it. With the DST, you can wiggle and writhe, using the hop function to bop the vehicle up and over the obstacle. Passes that seem far too narrow can be overcome by preemptively jumping into them such that half your wheels are riding on the rocky incline while the others spin through mud. Under the hood (the metaphorical game hood anyway), I could almost swear that hopping briefly modifies the DST’s hit box. Sometimes I’d jump over rocks I know that I had no chance of clearing. The DST rewards speed. On flat ground it simply will not tip over no matter how hard you try. Taking sharp turns with five-hundred kilos of painkillers at max speed will make you feel like you are in a crossover training course for USPS and stunt drivers. Going downhill, it turns into a bobsled capable of great speed but with a razor thin margin for error.
With a combination of hops, spins, slides, stops, and starts you can mount any hill. I took it as a challenge. Paths that were clearly designed for hiking — narrow, plenty of switchbacks, unreasonably steep — became courses that, with practice, I could drive up with my eyes closed. Punch it to the boulder, take a sharp right, flip a U-turn around the rock, drop down into the stream bed, climb slow and straight to the pass, hop to get the front wheels in and gun it to the drop-off point. Coming back down: reverse hard the second your tires clear the rocks, jerk the wheel to the left, use the boulder to stop, follow the foot path, hop down several berms and recharge by the creek.
The DST has the necessary complexity to give the thrill of mastery without being a full on simulation. I’ve seen people say that the vehicles in Death Stranding “feel bad” or “suck”. These people are wrong. I will, in full knowledge of how absurd this sounds, invoke my authority on the topic of off-road vehicle feel. Every vehicle I have ever driven I have taken off-road: 1995 Isuzu Trooper, 1998 Ford Ranger, 1995 Jeep Wrangler, Mid 2000s Subaru Outback and Forester, a rented BMW M3, Hydunai Sonata, a Specialized Triathlon bicycle, a Quintana Roo triathlon bicycle, my boss’s Specialized downhill bicycle, a (now totalled) vintage Urago bicycle. Most importantly, I have worked on a ranch and driven a Husqvarna HUV4414 Utility Vehicle. I know how vehicles feel off-road. I know which ones feel “good”. Understand that when I say I would pay good money for a DST I mean it. I would drive it to Idaho, tool around in Craters of the Moon National Monument, drive it into — and then out of — Bruneau Canyon, and finally use it to clear the old logging trail behind my not-grandmother’s ranch.
The DST is at times clunky and janky, but only ever in ways that lend it personality and demand your attention. Master it, and you will summit the world.
