I don't know if this is a common theory, but has anyone wondered if humans have lost the ability to recreate life?-UNR

One of the things I've wondered about was that we've seen no women so far. Generally when a baby is around, one would immediately think 'Hey, where's its parents!?' or 'What happened to the mother?'

Kojima said humans lost something, a stranding. Damaged DNA? or were all the women and most of the men in the world died in an event where because humans tried to use a kind of tech (cue, the quantum mechanics formulas on the dog tags) beyond their moral comprehension and it backfired on them which resulted in this new corrupted world?

recently (correct me if i'm wrong as i'm not sure about this one) Kojima said that sexualized women in death stranding will have 'deep background story' which kinda makes redundant of what I thought, but I kinda imagine it like, Norman Reedus character works hard to bring the women back or ensure the survival of the human species or whatever, and in this pursuit, the portrayel of biologically attractive women is a symbol of reproduction and that happens as flashes of the past of dreams of the future.
