So for a very long time I have suspected that Norman Reedus was Solid Snake. I have also suspected that PT and MGS were related. I have also long believed that the ending trailer of P.T. Shows us a Young (18-23 years old) Solid Snake walking through hell's kitchen.

Now when paz reveals Zeros location she says he is on 10th avenue in hell's kitchen. She says Zero is on the top floor. The only way to his floor is via a secret staircase, Room 702. Then Skullface says "shades of World War II" (reminds me of the recent DS trailer.)

And what do you think so far? I know the area isnt 100% the same but it is about 80-95% I believe this is because the P.T. trailer is supposed to take place in the late 80's to early 90's. I believe chapter 3 is either 1995 Outer Heaven or that it leads up to that point in the story and that a new game would be released or patch would be updated into the game after disarmament.
Okay so I think that is a pretty good amount of evidence. Maybe I am wrong and it is not enough proof.
I tried awhile back to get anyone in New York to check out that area in Hell's Kitchen. But apparently it is not a safe area, which is really surprising with a name like hell's kitchen, When I asked for someone to do this long ago a few readers told me that I should check out a game by Ubisoft called The Division. It takes place in New York and the area I was looking for in real life is in the game and it is pretty well done and realistic. I stopped buying Ubisoft games a long time ago because they boned me a few years back.

Now I just got the division the other day so I havent really played it too much yet. Just about 5 hours most if which were spend searching this area but here is what is itching at me just a bit. tin foil on tight.

In The Division a virus has broken out in New York city.
In TPP Zero is in Hells Kitchen and Skullface infects him with the highly contagious vocal cord parasite. If Zero could spread that to the others working in his building and those people got out and spread it we would have an outbreak in New York.
Now I don't believe that the virus in The Division is directly related to TPP. but just that it could be a little nod from ubisoft. And I kinda suspect there may be an easter egg in this area of the game. Like I said I am new to the game so I have lots to look for. but idk. It just seems like too many coincidences.
I think it is way too much to just be a coincidence that the area Paz gives us looks just like the area in PT and looks just like the area in The Division and the viral outbreak is just a little icing on the cake.

i was looking up William Blake, as he is quoted in the trailer, and saw that he is also an artist, his work Nebuchadnezzar instantly got my attention, as i recall it was the name of Morpheus' ship in the The Matrix films.
upon seeing the picture, i discovered the image to be that of a crazed naked man crawling on all fours, not unlike Norman Reedus.
Blake believed that Nebuchadnezzar was connected to the Christian apocalypse and to his personal view on the stages of human development.

I think I understood the drift with the baby.
Death Stranding happens in many periods of time. The Norman Reedus sequence is set in a future in which the world has been destroyed and the malevolent being from the "Black Hole" army are powerful enough to appear in the sky, chasing after Norman Reedus.
Norman Reedus escaped from a facility (handcuffs), and here is my theory: he has special abilities or knowledge but was captured in order to grow a clone baby of himself from his own womb (therefor same DNA, biological footprint etc...). This baby is connected through consciousness/soul to his former self, when Norman was a baby himself in the past, which is the one Guillermo DelToro is holding.
When not "activated" the baby appears crying in Norman Reedus arms. When activated he disappears but Norman Reedus appears to be crying and crumbling on his legs like a baby as if consciousness/soul was swapped between the two.
That's why when Guillermo "activates" the baby, the baby doesn't seem to be crying or having baby gimmicks (despite the weird "oh, a baby, cute" voices) but rather to be looking straight like an adult: Norman Reedus adult consciousness/soul was transferred into this baby pod, of which the baby's consciousness was swapped with the Norman Reedus of the future.
If you get my drift, I think Death Stranding is happening on different time period, all connected, and the name "blackhole" seem to suggest that a military group experimentation opened a "bridge" to another dimension (kind of like in Stephen Kings' Myst) through which came this black oil parasited being, who themselves have the capacity to materialise in different eras through hosts that are either fresh and in good state like Mad Mikkelsen or already rotten by some dark parasites.
And Guillermo who seem to have been the victim of a brain experimentation probably to pursue this kind of capability, is trying to save the Norman Reedus baby, linked through this pod to his future self, for some reasons of power, destiny or knowledge. I guess a third trailer, depending on when it's set, could reinforce or deny this theory of time, but as far as the baby is concerned, given classical philosophical, sci-fi literary or modern culture references, is probably what is happening in the logic of the trailers. What do you think?

Searching for movies tonight and I'm noticing a trend. Let me know if y'all come up with similar results, or have had this happen to you. Search Blade 2, Roku will only suggest rental or purchase apps and not mention Netflix, which should have "free with subscription" next to it. This is something I've notice with other titles as well. The cynicism in me thinks they're pushing these premium apps at us because some suit stuffed cash into their pockets. Little money spent, loads of money gained. (Obvious hyperbole is obvious) The reasonable assumption would be that with thousands of movie titles there is bound to be a few mistakes (apps update their libraries all the time) My questions are 1. Has this been noticed by others, am on to something here? 2. Is it illegal or unethical if it's being done on purpose? 3. Should I leave it alone and get back to Blade 2?

Previous KojimaPro Logo was FOX Unit from MGS, it appeared in the game. Connected to it and was part of it. Now this new Logo of Ludens and its Mascot seems like could be the real deal. That is in the game and might be Norman Reedus. YongYea made a video on this and he kinda proves that it is Norman under there. Which could mean that the whole Ludens is connected.
Now I made a post talking about the baby and the doll and maybe being Norman's baby in the tube. But now something triggered in my mind, what if the baby, Norman and Ludens...presuming they are one are basically a cycle that repeats itself?
On the poster and the chosen music it keeps saying I'll Keep Coming. Which means if we were to think literal it keeps coming back, in the context of the game with the Death in play what if it means he keeps coming back from the dead to do what he must?
Maybe the Norman we see is his dead body in limbo and he disappears (the baby) to be reborn with Guillermo? Maybe all this death and reborn is what is causing all the environmental damage??
What if the Company called Bridges as seen on Guillermo's jacket means they bridge the way between death and life? Giving a chance to come back
Now considering the baby is in fact Norman reborn what does it mean? Does it mean he has to die again and again for a purpose?

This was something I found when researching Homo Ludens the book. This is amazing. If he dies and comes back and again...I'll Keep Coming...this means he has to play again and again until he is a man and he never is a man to play.

What interested me is that they play with human minds and experiment on them for their own interest.
The weird cables the baby's box everything in it must be their experiment. They are creating a Hell and Limbo of their own creation to experiment on humans and see their reaction to it. Kinda cruel. Maybe Norman is the one who knows or is informed of this Loop and tries to break it.
If the Adam and Eve part going round the internet is correct then this means Kojima is making the Adam and Eve story with his twist saying we lived differently until one broke the curse gave us a chance to make our own choices instead of being controlled by Ludens.
Maybe their death is what makes...our world? Maybe Norman inherits the Ludens' powers? Is a loop really going on? Weird, cruel experiments done on them?
Tell you what, I'm sure the next trailer is weirdly connected to the first two feeling as if it's a continuation on this Loop with Norman experiencing it.
Also, people having to work together for this game is probably the Loop as we try to find an irregularity and stop it from continuing. Who knows?

I've been watching till season 4 so far I think? The last I remember watching from nearly 3 months ago was when Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney were both drinking moonshine for the first time, Reedus says fuck it and burns all the moonshine and the house they were hiding in while they both run off in the darkness showing their middle fingers to the flames.
Then work started, BAM couldn't watch anymore. But now with the holiday season I finally have some time.... can anyone without spoiling please indicate or let me know which episode that was? I haven't watched any further than that... Thanks brothers and sisters!!

For context, there's been LITERALLY 0 SOURCES SAYING Norman Reedus will voice his character. Only lending his likeness to the game, that's it. And IMDb incorrectly lists voice only (in contrast to image only).
Can we get a few folks on this board to tweet Ken or Kojirpo asking if Norman will voice his own character? For all we know, Troy Baker could voice Norman.

I just realized there was a Ludens sketch that Kojima posted on his twitter feed not long ago. On the arm it said "Bridges Missions". I just remembered that Del Toro's character has a badge that said "Bridges" on it as well... what is this idea with bridges? Bridges connect you to places you wouldn't normally be able to reach. Perhaps it's connecting life to death, to bridge the gap between universes, or a bridge to another dimension, or a parallel universe that is similar but different in many regards, or bridge time together. Perhaps Ludens was the first person to cross this bridge created by the Bridges "corporation" (if you will). Norman Reedus maybe be fighting to get back to reality, time, life, his world, who knows. The main thing is he is missing his connection. Assuming the umbilical cords represent the connection to life (or something else) as many have speculated. Here is where the second trailer gets strange. So Mads covered in goo is controlling the skeletons, then it cuts to Mads with no goo on him. I think the trailer is showing a sort of paradox. Mads control the soldiers from another time, to control soldiers in a modern time... make sense? This is why he is wearing modern gear, it's a parallel timeline that he can manipulate in order to control soldiers of differing eras.
I thought it was an interesting idea. The connection with the baby is another mystery. Personally I believe the baby is Big Boss lol jk. The baby is the biggest perplexing piece to all of this. Why is Del Toro obviously handing the baby over to Mads, and why does Mads need the baby secretly. I think when Reedus loses his connection he loses the bridge to life, which would understandably be why the baby just vanishes. But who is the baby? When Del Toro connects to the second baby there is almost a transference taking place and it almost appears a consciousness awakens. But again there could be no transference at all. There could be another character in the game with a bad eye. The first baby has no relation to the second baby. Or they are connnected by the idea of a multiverse.

I started thinking about and becoming convinced of this idea a couple days ago when I saw these images in another post: http://ift.tt/2ibXG6E
The first thing I noticed was, as pointed out by /u/StrandingDeath, the loose "umbilical" on Ludens' suit is nearly identical to the cord Del Toro plugs into jar-baby. In addition to the apparent material qualities, though, they both have the same smaller spiraling cord around the primary "umbilical" cord, which seems to me like a detail too striking to ignore.
Notice also, the writing on the shoulder of the suit in the concept art appears to say "BRIDGES MISSION". This ties it to the pin Del Toro is wearing in the 2nd trailer and potentially cements the Ludens character as part of the same universe. I know Kojima has said it's "just a mascot", but we know he's always up to something clever and I don't think his statement precludes it from being part of the game also, while still being "just a mascot" (and thus making Kojima not a liar), as I'll explain later. And many of us have noticed the "mascot's" eyes are undeniably modeled after Norman Reedus.
Then, in the corner of the concept art image, we see "DSTS". A quick googling of those letters reveals this website, which describes a Virtual Reality training simulation technology, where the soldiers are wearing headgear similar to Mads in Trailer 2: http://ift.tt/1nZSxi9
How about the fact that the only scene we've seen the armored Ludens model in so far is "on the moon" with a friggin' blue whale behind him, which then explodes into holographic particles.
How about the fact that the visor worn by Mads dissolves into holographic particulate in the same manner as said whale during the 2nd trailer?
Remember P.T, Kojima's most recent project? A game very focused on providing an immersive First Person experience (one that clearly evokes the question "What if this was played in VR")? Remember the unnerving speech on the radio at the end? Where a character rants seemingly inexplicably about "Coming back and bringing my new toys with me"?
I think those "new toys" are VR, basically. I think that one of the reasons Sony has done so much to welcome Kojima-san (besides the fact that he's rad and makes great games) is because they've agreed to use DS to catapult PSVR. I think the game will require VR, and will be about a world where VR is indistinguishable from reality. That is a concept he has been blatantly toying with since MGS2, where Raiden has lived portions of his life, unbeknownst-to-him, in a VR simulation, and many of his personal relationships were with AI entities. The concept shouldn't come as a shock to any fan.
I suspect, in the game, Ludens is something like an Advertisement for the BRIDGES corporation. The suit is designed for training military personnel, and puts you in a Virtual Reality, in the full body sense, simulating all 5 senses. Like a wearable Holodeck. It might also help explain the unique shape of the glass dome helmet (not that it needs to be explained scientifically) - the "pointy bit" is right about where your visual horizon should be when looking straight ahead. Thus the model as we've seen it is indeed a "mascot" designed to sell the suit or the service of using it.
I suspect the umbilical cords or "strands" somehow describe connectivity to the "game world", and the fact that Reedus has had his apparently surgically removed means he was once human but is now trapped in the virtual world. The first trailer might be illustrating this concept by the fact that Reedus apparently had a kid in the real world, which he was connected to until he got trapped in the virtual world, at which point the connection was severed. Kojima has repeatedly mentioned the concept of Evolution to the next stage of Mankind. Reedus, in the game, has evolved in a sense, by having his consciousness transported to a Virtual world. From Homo Sapiens, to Homo Ludens, "Those Who Play". And he isn't the only one, it would seem.
Kojima has talked about his experience as a kid in Arcades where you might die, but you can always put another quarter in to revive the character and continue. He wanted to explore the consequences of a world like that, where death isn't the end. Well, what if in this VR world death just means you respawn - but what is that like if you're trapped in the world and are actually experiencing that death and rebirth first-hand?

Death stranding takes place on earth and/or in an alternative dimension to earth in a near future where humans have basically killed life on the planet.One of the main themes will be the battle between Life and Death.Babies that represent life are now like money.You pay for your life with them,GDT is infact meeting with Mads to "pay" him,he's not sure about that infact he esitates before connecting his umbilical cord to the pod.
Mads Mikelssen is not human,he can take every form he wants,he is one of those angelical beings we see in the first trailer or at least he has their same origins,these creatures can be defined as Aliens or Gods,they belong to another dimension and they feed themselves through life(that is a very rare thing on earth in DS) but they can also bring life to death,they represent the evil in the game,they are our enemies,because they bring life to have an advantage (the weird tank,planes with umbilical cords and the Skeleton army)and they bring war and fear to the world.Kojima confirmed that Women will be in the game and i guess that they will have a very important role.
Norman Reedus is also an "Alien" but in the opposite way than Mads ecc. Both are strange, strange game developers, incredibly geeky in different ways, and builders of extremely high reputations. One just happens to be more famous for breaking those reputations.
Kojima would ideally have his arc starting with a Metal Gear-based background before transitioning through PT into a Death Stranding style background, gaining the posse of Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus (as Daryl) Guillermo Del Toro and Junji Ito as a silent posse.
Todd would have his background be the snowy mountains of Skyrim (maybe having a sideways horse) or Fallout's Commonwealth.
