For me, it has to be: 1. Andrew Lincoln 2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan (mostly season 7) 3. John Bernthal 4. Michael Rooker 5. Maybe Norman Reedus?

I know Shane and Merle weren't in the show as long as many actors, but they both absolutely killed their roles. When I think of season 2 I think of Shane, and Merle always stole your attention and time he's on screen.
