Hello fellow porters!
About two weeks ago, news about a possible Death Stranding sequel had surfaced, as most of you have seen. Those news came from an interview from IGN Brazil with the game's star Norman Reedus, who supposedly revealed that a sequel to game designer Kojima's latest outing was currently in negotiations. This sparked a variety of discussions, which talked about whether Norman meant the upcoming Director's Cut of Death Stranding or an actual sequel, about their hopes and predictions about the follow-up and if this might have been a translation error or misunderstanding.
Now that some time has passed and the arousement has passed, I wanted to ask the community on their thoughts on this situation: Do you think this was a genuine confirmation of a Death Stranding 2? Do you think this was a misunderstanding? Were there any new revelations that I might have missed?
While I personally would love to play anything new related to this IP, I am not taking this interview as any kind of confirmation. Chances are that Norman meant the newer upcoming version or that sometging had gone wrong in the translation. I am still looking forward to see the opinions about this that have formed since the initial release of the interview though.
