Triple 9 refers to the code 999, using for indicating that an officer is down. Without disclosing too much, the base for this movie is that a gang of corrupt policemen, in coordination with the Russian mafia, try to make an important robbery and plan to use as a distraction, at the moment of the robbery, the killing of a police officer in a place distant from the robbery, considering the police will prioritize the 999 call over the assault that is going on. If you like crime movies, or action movies, or movies with a couple of twists, and actors like Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, (wait, I don’t finish yet), Aaron Paul, Norman Reedus (let me take a break..), Katie Winsley or Gal Gadot (far from their usual roles), you will like this movie.
