I feel like when I play video games I want to escape real life, and when there is a real actor playing a lead role, like Norman Reedus or Keanu Reeves it’s like they’re trying way too hard to appeal to the masses. I liked it way better when games had all original characters because it’s like a whole new world where celebrities don’t exist and you can get completely lost. That’s a main seperation from games and movies for me, because in movies you’ll recognize actors and celebrities but in games it’s like you’re meeting people you’ve never seen. Plus, it just seems like an annoying way to advertise.
