I know we’ve all seen all the death stranding trailers a hundred times but somehow I’m seeing the first trailer with such a new pair of eyes. The first thing you see is dead crabs all connected with strands. The strands suck away life. Where they suck it to, who knows... The Norman you see is dead. You see his adult sized hands in the black strand fluid walk up and immediately revive his body... The handcuffs go from nothing to flashing blue to solid blue which means alive... but he had to sacrifice the baby (or just life) to the other stranded world. Baby disappears, he’s crying because he hates that he sacrificed life to “respawn” and then you see the baby hand prints walk away from the scene in the other strand universe.
I think it’s safe to assume that maybe Guillermo del toro in trailer two is the one that flips the switch to sacrifice the baby to respawn Norman reedus. This causes the baby eye on the doll next to Mads in trailer 2 to have its eye open. I think Mads is using the dolls as trackers for whenever someone “respawns”. Either trackers or just awareness that another new baby life has been used... And then his goal is maybe to track down the new life and kill it and absorb or “strand” its life for more power or something idk. But Mads is red color. And based on the handcuffs in trailer 3 of the guy who gets shot in head and the guy who stabs himself to death...red equals death. So Mads must be some weird dead energy haha. Also all the rainbows we see in pictures and in game of course start in the purple-blue and end on red.
And then I can’t help but think maybe they aren’t sucking life they are just sucking away Time. To maybe “live” forever or some eternal life things that villains always love. From the aging time fall rain and from babies to adults. To young Lindsey Wagner but old Lindsey Wagner in the photo... But then whenever I see those black stranded tar bodies that come out of the ground it seems way more then just stolen time but actual control of stolen lives. Shit I really don’t know lmaoooo. But it’s slowly all honing in. God I’m excited for this FRICKEN GAME!!!
One more thing. Maybe Troy bakers character works for Mads or related to mads (possible father?) Because they aren’t the same person but clearly use the same hand signals.
AND ONE OTHER THING I SWEAR... Everytime we’ve seen the 5 floating “gods” in the sky they never have strands connected to them. So I’d like to think they represent good.
