I know we’ve all seen all the death stranding trailers a hundred times but somehow I’m seeing the first trailer with such a new pair of eyes. The first thing you see is dead crabs all connected with strands. The strands suck away life. Where they suck it to, who knows... The Norman you see is dead. You see his adult sized hands in the black strand fluid walk up and immediately revive his body... The handcuffs go from nothing to flashing blue to solid blue which means alive... but he had to sacrifice the baby (or just life) to the other stranded world. Baby disappears, he’s crying because he hates that he sacrificed life to “respawn” and then you see the baby hand prints walk away from the scene in the other strand universe.
I think it’s safe to assume that maybe Guillermo del toro in trailer two is the one that flips the switch to sacrifice the baby to respawn Norman reedus. This causes the baby eye on the doll next to Mads in trailer 2 to have its eye open. I think Mads is using the dolls as trackers for whenever someone “respawns”. Either trackers or just awareness that another new baby life has been used... And then his goal is maybe to track down the new life and kill it and absorb or “strand” its life for more power or something idk. But Mads is red color. And based on the handcuffs in trailer 3 of the guy who gets shot in head and the guy who stabs himself to death...red equals death. So Mads must be some weird dead energy haha. Also all the rainbows we see in pictures and in game of course start in the purple-blue and end on red.
And then I can’t help but think maybe they aren’t sucking life they are just sucking away Time. To maybe “live” forever or some eternal life things that villains always love. From the aging time fall rain and from babies to adults. To young Lindsey Wagner but old Lindsey Wagner in the photo... But then whenever I see those black stranded tar bodies that come out of the ground it seems way more then just stolen time but actual control of stolen lives. Shit I really don’t know lmaoooo. But it’s slowly all honing in. God I’m excited for this FRICKEN GAME!!!
One more thing. Maybe Troy bakers character works for Mads or related to mads (possible father?) Because they aren’t the same person but clearly use the same hand signals.
AND ONE OTHER THING I SWEAR... Everytime we’ve seen the 5 floating “gods” in the sky they never have strands connected to them. So I’d like to think they represent good.
I think it is safe to say that Daryl is never going to die. I’m not saying he should but there have been several times it would have been a good and meaningful death. But at this point he is the ultimate apocalypse survivor. He even got a dog this season to add to his general badassness!! So, unless Norman Reedus is done with the role, Daryl is here until the end. I've laid out my predictions before here, but I've never really explained them further. Here's what I think we're going to get on December 6th:
Explanation: Kojima often posts tweets of his trailers months beforehand (such as the one shown here). The one shown is for trailer 3, and Kojima similarly released one similar image a few months back (I couldn't find it, if somebody could that would be excellent). This image had toys of Mads, Norman and Guillermo.
In the E3 2018 trailer, Lindsey Wagner's necklace turned out to have a hidden message on it in code; once deciphered, it read "Give me an Answer" by Low Roar. Let me know what you think!
Kojima often posts pictures of his trailers in the form of toys months before it is released.
I saw people on the sub talking about it and I think that it would be cool if we would get one in the future now that Norman Reedus got that extended deal with AMC and everything under the brand. This could work as both a tv movie or a mini series like Red Machete.
The background is already there since they can show us what he did since Rick's "death":
•him searching for Rick's body
•him visiting the bridge
•showing how he found the dog
•giving some details about the X mystery and maybe even adding some random survivors by telling them to join Alexandria or so
I would personally love to see more of that nomad Daryl especially on winter time since he kinda had his own philosophy over the second time jump, Reedus proved this season and especially in the last episode that he can lead things. I think it's possible especially if the fans would want to see that from him considering that he loved this show.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but i was just thinking of the trailer for mgs5.. The song for the trailer is Nuclear by Mike Oldfield. And all of a sudden the lyrics just sounded like something we've all seen.
"Standing on the edge of the crater" We've seen Norman Reedus' character 'Sam' literally standing on the edge of a crater at the end of the 2017 game awards trailer.
"Defiled, deep inside, the abandoned child" We've seen defiled/destroyed locations in trailer #2 with del toro and in the latest trailer from e3 2018
"Deep inside, the abandoned child" I can only link this to the baby in the capsule and also the baby we've seen inside of sam in a few trailers.
"Standing on the edge of the underworld, looking at the abyss" We've had teases/confirmations of other worldly beings from the "underworld" in both the del toro in every trailer released
"Looking at the abyss" An abyss being a chasm/crack/gorge OR MOST IMPORTANTLY A CRATER etc that may lead to the underworld or hell!

I'd like to preface this post by stating that I believe the baby is a representation of the player, the Homo Ludens. I will refer to the baby as Lu from this point on since Kojima Productions named the baby props LU#1 and LU#2. Most of this post will be based on a few choice tweets from Kojima Productions.
In Trailer 2, 3 and 4 we've seen 3 different people connected to Lu's pod. Guillermo in Trailer 2, Claude (the older CDT 6 member played by Claude Patrick) in Trailer 3 and Sam in Trailer 4. In Trailer 2, Guillermo connected to Lu when the general area was flooded by the black water which was a sign of the presence of BT (chiral entities). We know Claude was connected to Lu in Trailer 3 because he could see the BT and was firing at them on top of the flappy arm device being able to react to the BT (that and he removed the connection to throw Lu's pod at Sam). In Trailer 4, Sam connects to Lu and confirms that the flappy arm device is Lu's interface to point out BT to Sam and being connected to Lu allows Sam to see the BT.
This connection is the trance connection, which is a bond formed between Lu and its carrier when said carrier connects themselves with Lu's pod. The bond is a telepathic link between two individuals which allows for the carrier to see what Lu sees and share its thoughts, thus in essence enabling the carrier and Lu to become one mind, sharing consciousness in a kind of gestalt, kind of like the Vulcan mind melding in Star Trek. But since Lu is a Homo Ludens it is a meeting of chiral hands.
When I say a meeting of chiral hands I mean it in the nature of the Gassho ritual gesture in Buddhism which is also known as AΓ±jali MudrΔ. The Gassho is a gesture made as a greeting, in gratitude, or to make a request. It can also be used as a mudra--a symbolic hand gesture used during meditation. Mudra, which are often depicted in Buddhist art and used in practice to evoke a particular state of mind which are done with either one hand where it is known as asamyuta or with both hands where it is known as samyuta.
In the most common form of gassho used in Japanese Zen, the hands are pressed together, palm to palm in front of one's face. Fingers are straight. There should be about a fist's distance between one's nose and one's hands. Fingertips should be the same distance from the floor as one's nose. Elbows are held slightly away from the body.
And has been mentioned before, the gassho is used in greeting and you might know the most common use of it; "Namaste." According to our dear friend Wikipedia however the terms "te and tvam" are an informal, familiar form of "you" in Sanskrit, and it is typically not used for unfamiliar adults. It is reserved for someone familiar, intimate, divine or a child.
The gesture is used for both greetings and farewells, but carries a deeper significance than a simple "hello" or "goodbye". It is symbolic of the Dharma, the truth about life. For instance, we place together our right and left hand, which are opposites. It represents other opposites as well: you and me, light and dark, ignorance and wisdom, life and death. The joining together of the palms is said to provide connection between the right and left hemispheres of the brain and represents unification.
If we as the baby mind meld with Sam this would explain what Norman Reedus recounted during the SDCC 2016 interview with MTV about an exchange he had with Kojima:
We were talking about this last night, I had dinner with him last night with his team and that guy he's such a genius. And I'm just doing whatever he says and he's like:
"We're gonna make people cry," and I'm like:

There's as much peace as there's fear in this song imo and it's exactly the same feeling I have when I look at a Death Stranding trailer. I think it could end up in the game easily. Mostly regarding all the "Ludens is an astronaut of the digital space" thing.

I saw Screen Rant discussing this the other day, can't say I agree with their choices. If you had to cast RDR2 as a movie, who would play which roles? So far I only have 2 roles cast.

The cast is phenomenal, Joaquin Phoenix, James Gandolfini, Peter Stormare, Anthony Heald, Catherine Keener, and Norman Reedus. It's a subtle performance from Cage who slowly desends into madness becuase of the case. I still remember seeing it in theaters as a young teenager, all my friends looking at me disgust after the film was over.
