I find that extreeemely odd, considering the rumors and that we have no know-how of what bloober & konami are doing together other than the announcement they had. Possibly coincidence, who knows. I get that this isnt that blue box conspiracy subreddit, but doesnt anyone find this really weird to have all 3 of these rumored entities surrounding an interview?

Daryl Foreshadowing-UNR
Alright listen up I love Daryl, Norman Reedus plays him great and he’s honestly the biggest reason I really watch since Michonne and Rick have left (they were my top 3 favorites). Anyways, I’m doing a little rewatch of some of my favorite episodes and I’m watching the episode in season 4 when he and Beth are drinking at the cabin and she says “you’re gonna be the last man standing” and honestly in a way he really is. He is the last man from season 1 and he had to step into a leadership role when Rick was gone, and I think seeing it come full circle at the end, it’s just an interesting little moment I just thought about.
So I've been hearing a lot about this lately, that everybody's excited about Norman Reedus playing as Ghost Rider, even surpassing Keanu Reeves in popularity for the role, I've also seen concept art about it and decided to give it a try, I think I like the way it turned out.-UNR

The Loop Theory-UNR
Hello fellow detectives,
I have a pretty thorough thing to present here, after keeping a close eye on Rare Bird since the whole BB Japan debacle. The twitter account that I still to this day believe could have played a part in this, no matter how much downvotes I've gotten or will get for keeping that door open. I'm sticking with my gut feeling with this, and I also believe they possibly shut down when the account was done with it's specific task of leading us to Rare Bird. I guess that pretty much everyone knows the backstory by now but in case you don't, you can read my old post to catch up on what was mysterious about them in the first place: https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueBoxConspiracy/comments/o8b20b/bb_jp_dont_dismiss_them_just_yet/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
First let me just say this: I went in to this with a strong conviction of this being a Kojima ARG. That's the fun of it, so when investigating I of course use those glasses when looking for possible clues. With a different mindset than mine, I’m fully aware that some things might seem far fetched in what you’re about to read. But I hope you have the stamina and time to get to the end of this, where I will present a possible conclusion to this ”branch” of the mystery that's hopefully somewhat interesting at least. Or maybe a win by just learning some interesting trivia! This will be my last post on the matter, because I simply don't have the energy to keep obsessing about this anymore. But to quote our old friend Akira Yamoka: "I’m quite sure it will be the one you’ve been waiting for"
You can also use this post as a drinking game if you become bored, and take a shot every time you spot ”dualism” and see if you can make it to the end without passing out. There are also some spoilers further down, mainly on the horror films ”Us” and ”The Evil Dead” just so you know. And sorry for my english not being perfect. So with that out of the way, let's get on with it.
We must start with something that's gonna be important later on - A breakdown of the Sinfeld Remaster trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5YuS59sQe0 It has a lot of references, and strangely enough very few of them seem to point to Seinfeld. I find the odder elements and references immense in comparison, to a point where it’s not really fair to call it a ”Seinfeld horror spoof” imo. I have categorized the references I've manage to spot in two different blocks as you will see.
First, we have 3 famous Hollywood blockbuster references including Terminator 2, Ghostbusters & Spider-Man. So what more do these films have in common other than being super successful? Well, first of all they are all properties owned, and/or licensed by Sony Pictures (just like the TV-show Seinfeld itself btw.) But storywise, they also share one considerable element - Characters with hidden identities, blending in with human society in unique forms. T2 in the form of A.I (T-800/T-1000). Ghostbusters, in the form of paranormal possession (Zuul the gatekeeper). And Spider-Man, in the form of a real person (Peter Parker). A theme that can be linked to recent Kojima activities on twitter. Such as the ”They Live” t-shirt for example, a film that have this element too but with aliens. Kojima also tweeted recently about the history of alien invasions portrayed in fiction. How in the early days, it was straight up attacks. But in modern days he has noted a shift towards ”breeding” as he calls it. Meaning a more silent attack I guess, living and breeding among us without us even knowing it. Like a bug slowly eating us from inside.
Then we have 3 other totally different references: The anime series ”Neon Genesis Evangelion”, the famous manga ”Akira”, and lastly a Kaiju, most likely a reference to the King of Monsters himself - ”Godzilla”. And what does these have in common? Well, the most obvious is that they all share a Japanese origin of course, just like the man of mystery himself. But the IP’s also happen to share strong connections to Kojima. YES I KNOW, Kojima is a fan of billions of things, relax... But these I think stand out from the crowd a bit as they are also works that have influenced his past games. Pretty immensely in fact, not just on a fan/easter egg level so to speak. So let’s put on the Kojima glasses and see what we can find by looking at them individually.
Hideo is a huge fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and paid homage to the mecha aspect of the series with his own mecha game ”Zone of the Enders” You can also see many references in Metal Gear Solid, which you can see here in the video that describes it better than I possibly could: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOnmiG6bxYk&t=8s
Godzilla, another Kojima favorite. A fictional creature, born from the ashes of post-WWII Japan. From the fear and horrors of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At it’s core it was basically an anti-nuke message, a message that is also deeply rooted in Metal Gear Solid. References to Godzilla can be spotted all over the franchise for these reasons, perhaps most notably in MGS 3 with this phone call: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnsxSCuFt70 But if you want to dive in to the history even further, here’s a pretty good mini documentary to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXYSqFr9bLU
If you for some reason feel the anti-nuke message in MGS is far fetched, just look at the secret ending of Phantom Pain, unlocked after players managed to disarm every nuke in the game years after the game’s release. One last goodbye from Kojima, with a very clear message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4uSkAACoHc
Then we have Akira, the last in the bunch of Kojima favorites. Look at this copypaste from his wikipedia page about his game Snatcher, and not much more needs to be said really: ”He also received inspiration from anime. His early works, particularly the cyberpunk adventure game Snatcher, were influenced by cyberpunk anime, most notably Akira.”
So we end up with 2 separate piles of references, one Japanese and one American. And finally I can see a hidden meaning/reason to release the Sinfeld trailer both in english, and with google translated japanese like they did, as well as all other twitter posts from BBJP. Because all good things sure comes in pairs as they say... https://imgur.com/a/olSPC9E
Speaking of which, Rare Bird then suddenly announced from nowhere a second ”game” called ”The Last Video Store” for Playstation VR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcz71RPKKm4 A very very fake thing that you can go ahead and believe if you wish, but I'm not buying it for a second.
And now the really interesting stuff starts to unfold. I start the trailer, and the Minnie Riperton song ”Les Fleurs” starts to play. And I thought, where have heard this song before? I searched it on google, and got the answer right away. Multiple hits with articles about it being used in the ending scene of Jordan Peels horror movie ”Us”. The scene is a reference to the 1986 campaign ”Hands across america” An event that figures significantly in the plot and also has Death Stranding vibes all over it. Peele has said the event was the ultimate symbol of dualism. And oh boy, that movie is basically one big duality piece. From the symbol of the scissor, all the way to the title itself. ”Us” as humans, and US as in united states as a whole. Even down to the red/blue poster itself from that old campaign: https://www.discogs.com/Voices-Of-America-Hands-Across-America/release/2237620/image/SW1hZ2U6MzYzNDQxNA==
The movies plays with the idea of underground doppelgangers (visualized in red, and beneath us, just like that campaign poster) Heck, even the main doppelganger villain goes by the name Red. Who of course is not really the villain in the end, and we’re left with figuring out who really was real or fake. In the name of dualism, like almost everything else in the film. (Also, yet another example of some entity blending in with society. How many unique examples of this do we have now, five?)
But anyway, let’s go to that last scene with the song and have a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCMacZNMYyc Skip to the very end of the clip, to the closing aerial shot of some hills where thousands of (red) doppelgangers are lined up all the way to the horizon. Holding hands to show that the doppelgangers have taken over, killed their counterparts and unites America in some freaky way. The movie ends.
Then go back and look at the beginning of The last video store trailer, that opens with a similar shot but with the sun removed from the top right corner and replaced with a moon on the top left. The warm and sunny day, inverted to the cold blue sky of night. And the same song starts, like it picked up exactly where ”Us” ended right? Panning down from the hills to this small ghost-like town surrounded by fog, and a Harry Mason-ish jeep comes driving in and… No, let’s not go there, FOCUS ON THE EXPERIMENT!
So after seeing those two scenes connect so well to each other, it made me think. What if this is the actual puzzle? So I tried a little experiment, simply by trying to tie together beginnings with endings like that. Pushing all the other references aside for a moment, and just look at imagery and setting. The last shots of every piece, and how it connects to the opening shots on something else and so on. Connecting them into something like a chain, just to see how long of a chain I can make. So in the spirit of Death Stranding, lets connect som friggin strands!
I started with the Sinfeld Remastered trailer of course, since it was the first thing to drop. And something hits me immediately which I’ve totally missed for some reason. Look at the last part of P.T https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay_RAkE7bUY the teaser cutscene that unlocks with Norman Reedus walking down the street before the logo reveal. It plays out almost EXACTLY the same as the opening shot of the Sinfeld trailer. How the camera follows main character Donathans feet, moving up to the neck. How he turns his head just a little to a sudden stop, before finally turning around to reveal his face and spits out a Kojima reference on top of another Kojima reference: ”Kept you waitin, huh?”. Then how it cuts to a wider shot, as he keeps walking down the foggy street as the camera tracks backwards.
Which means I obviously had to throw P.T in the mix here as well, and connect it to the chain to the left of Sinfeld.
Okay so the ending of P.T became my new starting point, and the beginning of the Sinfeld trailer picks it up right where it left off 7 years ago. Great, then let’s move to the end of the Sinfeld trailer, where a camera tracks in to a close-up of some sort of test subject/experiment on someone/something in a tank. Trailer ends.
The movie ”Us” begins with a close-up of a rabbit inside a cage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dm82qvn5Crs It’s basically a metaphor for the film, with the rabbit being the common symbol of test subjects and rebirth. Test subjects which in this film represents the lives of these ”Tethered” as an abandoned experiment. It was basically a cloning project that was run by the government to infiltrate and control the American people. It fits together pretty well with the last shot of Sinfeld right, so let’s skip the end with the shot on the hills that we've already gone through.
”The Last Video Store” trailer picks it up like I said, to finally end the trailer on the Evil Dead logo. So, no need for a new starting point here I guess, since the title itself is in the the last shot of the trailer? Ok, not much more to do than go straight to the end of Evil Dead then.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dZdGPNL5Bs
Ash walks out the door in the morning after the climax of fighting off the evil dead all night in the house. Then almost immediately, he get knocked out just a few feet from the door by an evil entity bursting through it. (We know he’s knocked out because he later wakes up in the same spot in the sequel, Dead by Dawn) Anyway, he gets knocked down, it cuts to black and the film ends.
P.T then starts with you waking up lying on the ground, a couple of feet from the door, which you go through to meet your fears… So, the chains suddenly connects with the other far end and forms a circle. Or more like a loop. An endless loop of nightmares? That very much reflects the gameplay idea of what we experienced in P.T/Silent Hills, which also turned out to be the final puzzle piece for this test to go full circle.
So my possible conclusion is this: ”The loop” itself is a metaphor for P.T which is also the answer to the puzzle. And within the P.T loop, smaller clues are scattered all over the place. Remember those two piles of references from the breakdown? A japanese pile, and an american pile. In what I believe translates to past project influences, and future project influences. And from the future pile, it looks like it probably involves something along the lines of a silent ongoing invasion around us or in ourselves. Some sort of entity blending in with society, making us question what/who’s real or not.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. Thanks for reading and hope you found something interesting.
Still haven’t passed out on the duality drinking game? Okey then wth, here’s a little bonus content: The Last Video Store, with the exception of Evil Dead itself of course which I believe was the ”real” clue, it highlights some films specifically that all happen to share the reputation of being carbon copies or some of them even straight up rip-offs of other box office hits and classics.
Mac and Me (1988) - E.T
Demon Wind (1990) - Evil Dead
Andre (1994) - Free Willy
And here I can finally also place one last reference that I couldn’t place from Sinfeld, which I believe is ”Alligator” (1980) - the beat for beat rip-off of Jaws.
Every great film has it’s counterpart I guess. The clone, hoping to blend in with the successful cool guys... :)
Good night! / おやすみなさい!

Where should the Silent Hill series go from here?-UNR
It’s likely we will finally see a new Silent Hill game soon, for better or worse. I’m curious to see what the community would like to see from the new game. Should it be...
-
A complete reimagining of the series, keeping core elements but ignoring all previous games
-
A sequel acknowledging only the Team Silent games as canon, and is a continuation of the cult storyline set years after 3 & 4
-
Another “self-contained” title ala 2 and every Western game, containing potential references to previous games but inconsequential to the other games storyline wise
-
A remake of the original game
Some previous unattempted concepts could be used:
-
Team Silent’s SH5 would have no fog, being a horror game set in the daylight (the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was cited as an inspiration) and be about how “a day can rot away”
-
We can infer from the title that Silent Hills would’ve been about, well, multiple Silent Hills in some shape or form. My guess is that it also would have featured asynchronous online like Death Stranding in which you could affect other players games, again relating to the title
-
Guillermo del Toro also seemed to imply the game would have primarily take place in a house
-
If P.T. is anything to go by, the story would’ve involved MK Ultra somehow and might have had a first person perspective in some way, although I don’t think they’d get Norman Reedus’ likeness just to not show him off like they do in Death Stranding. Personally I liked the idea of Reedus as the protagonist though I certainly hope the final game wouldn’t have been filled to the brim with celebrity likeness like DS
I personally would like to see Team Silent’s original SH5 concepts be revisited
"This thing is like an onion: the more layers you peel, the more it stinks." - George Costanza. Part 4-UNR
***SPOILERS FOR SEASONS 7 AND 8 AHEAD***
Few stories can survive with one man against the world. Any successful TV show has an army of side characters helping the hero achieve their goal, and TBL is no exception.
Side characters are interesting in that they can easily be adapted deeper into the plot should they be well-received. Norman Reedus was originally brought in as a guest star on The Walking Dead's pilot. Fast forward ten seasons, and the scowling, crossbow-clad Daryl Dixon is currently one of the show's most iconic characters. Should the decision be made to give a side character a larger role in the plot, a talented storyteller can make it interesting by giving them development that is interesting and meshes will with the over-arcing story. A talented storyteller.
Unfortunately, we didn't get that in any shape or form in TBL, and Season 8 brought out the worst in this glaring issue. In Part 1, we covered how the Season's driving plot, the murder of "Katarina Rostova", was completely useless. In Part 2, we addressed how awful the writing for the Season's villain, Neville Townsend, was. In Part 3 we tackled the issue of Elizabeth Keen, and how irreedemably dislikeable the protagonist was. Now, we'll be hitting the buttresses that are supposed to keep the main plot standing: the Task Force.
The key thing to remember is that, since the show's inception, there have been four total members of the Task Force, no more: Agent Cooper, Agent Ressler, Aram, and Agent Bitch. Meera Malik, Samar Navabi, and Alina Park were, in practice, carbon copies of one another, each one worse than the one before her. Park in particular is a real loser, and this isn't for lack of potential, or bad acting: once again, this issue falls squarely at the foot of the writer's room.
Park's whole shtick was being Liz Jr. Liz brought her in because Liz, being the master judge of character that she is, saw her as the perfect fit. Park was supposedly "darker", more aggressive, and therefore more uniquely prepared to work with Raymond Reddington. "Think like a criminal," said Red in Season 1. And this starts off alright. We're given a scene in early Season 7 in which Park, covered in the blood of one of Red's enemies, tells him that he's "too violent". She is given a grimdark backstory in "Twamie Ullulaq" that solidifies her position reputation as the team's new female sociopath. It would all be tolerable, albeit predictable, until we entered Season 8.
Again, the issue here seems to be that a writer has an idea, and the other writers introduce that element without following through on it. All of Park's foreshadowing, in Season 7, seems to point to her as being morally grey enough to side with Reddington (as if every other character in the series hasn't caved to him already). As Keen's actions pushed the Task Force to the breaking point, Park had the potential to become the anti-villain none of them had the guts to be: either doing whatever it takes to stop Keen (thereby putting her into conflict with Reddington) or seeing Reddington as the morally right one and siding with him. Instead, arguably, we got the very worst of both worlds.
To her credit, Park immediately sees through Liz's bullshit. Unlike Ressler, Aram, and Cooper, she has no qualms about doing exactly what the FBI is meant to do: arrest terrorists like Liz. And that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. She pretty much contributes zero to the Keen manhunt. The writers introduce a character, tell us she's a budding sociopath like Liz, then send Liz on the run and make Park the only one who really wants her taken down, and then do absolutely nothing. She participates in the inanely idiotic train station scene of "16 Ounces", and then is whisked away to be a key player in a contrived side plot.
In "The Wellstone Agency", Alina attacks a loan shark she suspects of murdering her friend. Then, without a second thought, she covers up her dirty deed by going to Reddington and asking that he bail her out. Surprisingly enough, this backfires, and by 8.12 "Rakitin", Red is calling in the favor. He asks that Park take a letter to Andrew Patterson, a captured spy in FBI custody. The letter is poisoned, and when Patterson opens it, he is killed instantly. The decision is stupid enough on its own-- Park knows that Reddington's objective is to spring Patterson. She should have at least assumed that getting the letter to Patterson would get him out of custody; read, treason. She committed treason, the most serious offense under United States law, to avoid assault and battery. It's as stupid as it is immoral.
This is never revisited and Park never faces consequences for this action, not even the premise of them. Liz's re-entrance in the next two episodes shifts the plot in a different direction.
Aram Mojtabai started off as a weird tech guy. Quite original. As the seasons progressed, his character held the illusion of development, at least. His relationship with iron-fisted Mossad Agent Samar Navabi budded in between his various flings with mob agents. He was left devastated after the Osterman Umbrella Company forced her into exile. We were told over the seasons that he would be forced to be tougher and less of a pushover.
All this is undermined almost immediately. Liz walks into the FBI's most secret black site and demands her daughter. Aram caves. Liz's double (not even Liz) tries to break out, and Aram still fails to shoot in time, resulting in Mary Bremmer's death. He then spends the rest of the season as Bokenkamp's mouthpiece for how Liz, actually, is good. Except that one time in "Godwin Page" when he gets pseudo-tough again.
This schizophrenic attitude towards Keen is hardly Aram's burden to bear alone. Harold Cooper adapted into the group's moral compass. He provided a father-figure to Liz and a foil to Red's grey morality. In Season 8, his role was reduced to that of the new Liz: every episode, he asked the rhetorical question of whether the FBI or Reddington is in the driver's seat. Every episode, he vowed he was going to put an end to Red's bullshit. And he never did. Cooper is a smart man, yet he can never seem to get anything done. Red is always many steps ahead. Cooper is pretty much obsolete. We're forced to wonder why Red bothers with him.
And Ressler was the one that got it hardest. He was introduced to us as a hard-ass cop with an uncompromising sense of morality. Just about every episode he had a fistfight with somebody. We were occasionally given interesting plots. And then, out of nowhere, he and Liz started sleeping together. Ressler seemed unable to pick a side. He supported Keen's efforts to bring down Reddington, yet continued working on the Task Force, to catch Keen. The tension he faced was never explored.
All around, TBL failed to give us meaningful side characters. This seems due to a chronic inability to remember anything, an issue that will be especially glaring when I get to how this season screwed up the mythology. They introduce plots and never fix them. Seasoned federal employee, by-the-books cop, lovable nerd, and action girl are all archetypes that work if they are given consistent character development and a real role in the story. Park, Cooper, Aram, and Ressler were not.
As Liz is gunned down by Elias Vandyke, the four, running in slow-motion, arrive to the crime scene, helpless, and a few seconds too late. Fitting.

What is the worst acting you have seen on a TV Show?-UNR
I really find most of the acting in the Walking Dead to be awful. Besides Norman Reedus and occasionally the guy who plays Rick, it's pretty awful. Idk how that show got so popular when it's basically a soap opera where someone kills a zombie every third episode.
What is the best acting moment from each season in your opinion ?{Spoilers Ahead}-UNR
S1 - Laurie Holden - reacting to Amy’s death, utterly phenomenal and a very underrated actress
HM - Andrew Rothenberg (Jim) - tree conversation with Shane
S2 - Jeffrey DeMunn - during his speech about Randall, great delivery and the tearing up showed what it meant. Fantastic
HM - Jon Bernthal (Shane) - Barn scene
S3 - Lennie James - talking about Duane and seeing red, probably the best in the whole show imo. The best actor on the show
HM - Andrew Lincoln (Rick) - death of Lori
S4 - Brighton Sharbino - killing Mika and dying to Carol. Incredible from a child actor and such a messed up scene
HM - Norman Reedus (Daryl) - Beth rant, Still
S5 - Steven Yeun - reacting to Noah’s death, utterly fantastic, brutal death and the reaction makes it feel more brutal
HM - Lauren Cohan (Maggie) - death of Beth
S6 - Tovah Feldshuh - during her death. The whole of 6x8 was phenomenal acting from her. Very sad death and one of the best characters on the show
HM - Melissa McBride ( Carol) - panic attack in The Same Boat
S7 - everyone in the lineup - brilliant from everyone that was involved. Eugenes reaction especially got me because it was such an ugly cry
HM - Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) - again during the lineup and throughout S7
S8 - Danai Gurira - during Carl’s death, she was amazing along with Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs
HM - Ross Marquand (Aaron) - the death of Eric
S9 - Andrew Lincoln - played the role incredibly well in his final moments on the show. Fantastic episode
HM - Danai Gurira (Michonne) - killing the kids
S10 - Jeffrey Dean Morgan - the death of Lucille and the whole of here’s negan, incredible actor for for the role perfectly
HM - Seth Gilliam (Gabriel) - the death of Mays and the whole of One More

Norman Reedus’s character wasn’t going to have the ability to view multiple versions of Silent Hill (Theory)-UNR
It’s already agreed upon within the community that the plural wasn’t referring to the Fog world and the Otherworld, but referring to the different versions of the town other people see, otherwise all the games should’ve had the S.
The assumption is that Norman’s character was going to have the very unique ability of viewing the town from other people’s perspective, the demo was evidence of this, the world was treating Norman as if he was the father despite him looking nothing like the father in the family pictures, and his age and attire contradicting the 70s setting.
But why/how did he have this ability? We never saw anything like it in any of the games or the comics (As far as I know). This question bugged me for a while, and the answer was too obvious, I was just looking at it too hard.
The reason it was called Silent Hills was because the game was going to have more than one protagonist, with Norman being the main one. Probably inspired by Siren: Blood Curse, which had 8 protagonists if I remember correctly (Think Howard Wright in Siren = Norman Reedus in this situation).
Each character would experience a different Silent Hill, with different monsters/nightmares presented to them respectively. This would’ve been a fresh, fun idea to add the franchise and would’ve made more sense to be in this game rather than Siren.
How do I explain what happened in the Demo? Kojima himself said the demo had nothing to do with the full game. Another theory even states that Norman’s character model was a placeholder for the husband.
This is the only explanation I can come up with, sorry if someone already theorized this, hopefully it brings some closure to the name.
