In honor of Death Stranding, and Halloween, here's Norman Reedus' Scariest Halloween Costumes Of 2019.-UNR

Death Stranding doesn't look fun at all.-UNR
Does anyone else feel this way as well? The setting looks really interesting and the supernatural tech all seems really cool, but every time I watch some new footage, I find myself asking the same question:
"Where's the fun part?"
None of the gameplay looks particularly enjoyable. I just see Norman Reedus trotting around with a giant backpack, traversing pretty plain-looking outdoor environments. I mean, coddling a weird, psychic baby when it gets upset? Where's the fun in that?
I'm still hoping for the best, but as far as I can see, I don't see how this game will provide any enjoyable gameplay experience for its players.
Guys, i need your help, all i want to know is what's the difference between this version of the game and the other version which has Norman Reedus on the box art if there's any... Please help-UNR
Should I watch The Walking Dead-UNR
I am looking for a new show to watch and I am a big fan of horror, however zombies are really the only thing that freak me out and I am not particularly a big fan of gore but I really like Norman Reedus and thats why I want to get into it but I still don't know... should I or Should I not?

Norman Reedus talking about Grimes visiting Hideo Kojima's studio-UNR
"Hideo, while we were filming, would just have these superstars come to set just to shake his hand. His fanbase is so broad. You’d have the director of Godzilla or King Kong one day and then Grimes. It’s just insanity. Grimes was there, and she’s a big gamer, and I asked her why do you like Hideo’s games so much? She said, I’m a big reader, I read novels, I read everything. I also play games and it’s like having the experience of being personable in a game with the story of a novel."

Is This the Story So Far?-UNR
So from what I understand after ecological death creatures destroy the planet the holographic AI president asks Norman Reedus to turn on terminals across the country using dog tags while fighting off the death creatures and savages and while also delivering packages to other holograms. Is that right? If that's correct then what are the terminals supposed to do and why can't someone that's already there turn them on? Or is he delivering packages to empty cities? If so, why?
Also for an unrelated question what was Hideo on when he came up with all this?

Comicbook.com: The Walking Dead Stars Swear Off Walker Stalker Con: “Time to Shut This Sh*t Down”-UNR
From comicbook.com: "The Walking Dead stars are permanently pulling out of Walker Stalker Con, the formerly worldwide Walking Dead-themed convention that recently announced it will be exclusive to Atlanta, Georgia, after 2020. In a tweet published Monday, star Khary Payton said it’s “time to shut this sh-t down,” confirming co-stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride and Cooper Andrews are “not coming” when the convention returns over Halloween weekend in 2020. The exodus comes days after Walker Stalker creator James Frazier resigned as CEO in the wake of a “problematic” Walker Stalker Atlanta 2019, where TWD star Angel Theory was reportedly “verbally assaulted” by a member of the convention’s security staff."
“I’m not coming. Norman’s not coming. Melissa’s not coming. Danai’s not coming. Cooper’s not coming. Confirming more... Time to shut this shit down,” Payton tweeted Monday, adding the hashtag “sick of it.”

Death Stranding Is Coming To PC In 2020-UNR
Death Stranding, Kojima Production's weird delivery man action game, is no longer a PS4 exclusive. It launches on Sony's console on November, but we'll be able to get our hands on it when it comes to PC in 2020.
I guess I have to pay more attention to Death Stranding now. The news doesn't come as a complete surprise, and there have been hints that it wasn't going to be trapped on PS4 forever. If you've not been following it closely, take a look at this briefing trailer that will probably leave you with more questions.
OK, so you've got to go on a trip to activate some network terminals—which you'll need a baby for, or something—so you can reconnect humanity and also save the president. Maybe along the way Norman Reedus will cheer up. He's always so sad.
Along with Reedus, the cast includes Mads Mikkelsen, Lindsay Wagner and Troy Baker, as well as Guillermo del Toro's body, but not the rest of him. Kojima's best bud Geoff Keighley makes a cameo, along with Conan O'Brien, and with the PC version still many months away, maybe there's time for Kojima to put you in the game, too. Couldn't hurt to ask.
Death Stranding will be coming to PC in early summer next year.

Are there as many “ads” in the game as there were in the trailers/showcases?-UNR
Something I absolutely hated was the in your face advertisements we saw like the Ride with Norman Reedus poster in the bathroom, Sam saying “this should be an episode of Ride”, and the monster energy drinks. I’m pretty sure there are more little ones but those ones stuck out. They just absolutely ruin the immersion and I hope they didn’t make it into the final game.

Thoughts on the lead-up to Release [No spoilers please]-UNR
So I've been glancing over the comments on here, threads and on tweets to get an idea of what people think of the game so far and well, I notice a lot of worried comments, I see a lot of negativity after reading people's early impressions on the game etc. comparing it to MGS V, which some didn't like and you know what, that's ok. I can reason with people's caution of picking up a game, given the climate in the industry.
And people do process games differently, everyone has a genre they like or stuff they rather enjoy. The biggest worry and well, I have to agree that it is a trend that can go either way, like Battle Royale is the "Empty Open World" debate. We have Red Dead Redemption 2, Breath of the Wild, Fallout 76, The Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim and so on.
I went into Breath of the Wild with zero knowledge, I knew it was an open-world experience with choices and no set sequence of events, new inventory system and gear quality. And I know many will say it's a crazy risk but I was literally buying a Switch just for Breath of the Wild. The new formula, the new take on the series left a positive impression on me, to the point I started a second play-through of it to experience things differently from start to finish.
I know some people are on the fence about Metal Gear Solid V, from the Konami fallout to the mechanics and open world being so-so. I personally still enjoy the mechanics of Metal Gear Solid V, I personally think it was ahead of its time in terms of planning, strategizing and performance. Still to this day, I find new ways of integrating tech and equipment to complete my mission. Now I know some people still complain about the ending, the story and the overall twist but I could see the message it sent, how we as players took the role of a leader, a legend and made it our own.
Fallout 3, this sticks in my head because it was a rather fond memory when I finally gave Fallout 3 a chance. When Fallout 3 first came out, I found it boring, it didn't click with me. I put the game aside, thinking it was a waste of €60 that Christmas. The Summer came around and I got the itch to play Fallout 3 again on my Xbox, saying "Meh, I'll give it another shot" 3 months later, I was aiming for a perfect gamer score on it. I finally got my footing, I finally got into the rhythm and honestly, it became one of my favorite games. But the reason I tie this into both the reception and the style of Death Stranding's walking around is that one night, I was wandering the Wasteland with Dogmeat and the ambient music was playing and I couldn't help feel a sort of bliss, exploring a barren wasteland, picking up the fragments of this world and writing my own story. Something eerily beautiful in the Radioactive scorned world.
Another little discussion I've had with a good friend of mine was about the Witcher 3. Now I'm a big, big fan of the Witcher, read the books, enjoyed all three games (even Witcher 1 which does divide fans) and I'm looking forward to the TV series. My friend did not enjoy the Witcher 3, he sat down and gave it a bash but the combat wasn't what he expected and he couldn't stick by it. I always respect his thoughts, it wasn't for him and he respects my admiration and appreciation of it. It's something we "connect" over, discussing the game and our experiences. We do share the same positive thoughts about MGS V and moments that stuck out. One of the moments that still literally haunts my friend is the moment we had to execute our own men, who were infected with the vocal cord parasites. The fact your men would stand there and accept their fate, for you!
There is another thing I did read earlier in a tweet and I have to mention it because I have my own perspective on it now. Talking about Quiet in MGS V in the helicopter being flirtatious with you and her attire being sexualized versus Norman Reedus taking offense and punching the camera when his crotch is stared at for too long. It provoked me to think of a few things and process thoughts. So Quiet, Kojima said we'd feel bad for making her a sex icon? I can reason with it now because like Venom Snake being Big Boss's double, his front-man, she was a subject and pawn for Skull Face as well. They spoke a common tongue like most characters in MGS V and that was Revenge. Big Boss, Kaz, Skull Face, Quiet, Eli, all those people were connected by one thing, and that was revenge. But getting back to the topic of Norman Reedus's response to his crotch being stared at, it reminded me of a video about sexual harassment and inappropriate practice in the workplace. 80% of the people were men and while some think it might be double standards for Reedus to react, it is becoming more common for men to speak out about being sexualized and objectified. Now I'm aware this could be taken out of context and biased but there's a deeper meaning than just "stop looking at my junk". We also know that Sam has a fear of being touched so maybe, this plays into it too but hey, that's my five cents on that topic, onto the next bit.
Looking at it another way, Blade Runner, an iconic Sci-fi movie with one of the most beautiful character moments in cinema was a flop on release, it took some time to age and become the gem it is now. A lot of people love Marvel, a lot don't. A lot of people like DC, a lot don't. Maybe it's just me becoming more open to reason and understanding people's needs, wants and perspective on things but we're all going to have differing opinions no matter what and even critics will say the same. That shouldn't taint or sway people away from games. I remember a review about Horizon Zero Dawn from Destructoid, they gave it a 7.5 and you know what? I respected their honest review, I didn't let it taint my view on the game and I'm glad it didn't, because Horizon Zero Dawn became another major favourite of mine. Days Gone had a mixed reception, another friend of mine adores the game, he went all out to platinum it!. Assassin's Creed and the sailing, I know people who hated sailing and others who loved it. When I looked at Black Flag, I thought "Pirates, so dumb, I'll probably skip it". Ended up buying it the night of the PS4 release, played through it and loved every second.
Anyway, it's 4am here, those are my thoughts so far, I know I may have rambled but I love sharing my little stories about games, good or bad and reminding people that release day is the time when we'll know if it's really for us or not. Thank you for reading my spiel :) <3

Why the show will have a different ending compared to the comics-UNR
It is just a simple reason but i dont think they would skip 30 years and just recast everyone, especially characters like Daryl. People would flip their shit if Norman Reedus wasnt in the final episode
Also there is the Rick movie trilogy and Rick will definitely reunite with everyone but Gimple said on Talking Dead that Rick will never return to the show so he cant appear in the final episode
i think the final episode will end with a cliffhanger and we see the conclusion in the third movie

I spoke to Troy Baker about how he joined Death Stranding-UNR
Hey Ludens Fans,
So I had the absolute incredible opportunity to meet one of my idols Troy Baker at comic con. When I met him I asked him if he was initially confused by the concept of Death Stranding like Mads was and how he got involved in it. He told me he was at San Diego comic con two years ago (so 2017) when he suddenly got tapped on the shoulder by Ken, Kojima's producer. When Kojima suddenly said "meet your co-star Norman Reedus". That's pretty awesome how Kojima pretty much just casted him right there - love it!
Troy said he thinks what Kojima is doing is incredibly complex and that if he can pull it off, this will be his best game to date.

Pandorum (2009) Is Unexpectedly Excellent-UNR
I was in an AirBNB last week on vacation, perusing the dusty dvd collection and found Pandorum. I'm a big horror and Sci-Fi fan, but had never heard of the film. I popped it in expecting an Asylum Studios level laugher.
I could not have been more wrong. Pandorum was freaking awesome! The cast includes Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Norman Reedus (Blade, The Walking Dead) and Dennis Quaid (The Parent Trap) and follows the journey of the last remaining humans travelling via the spaceship Elysium to their new home 100+ years away. The characters wake up and things go to shit real fast with super-strong humanoid creatures stalking them and eating whomever they can find.
The plot and lore were fascinating and the minute-to-minute film roll reminded me of a mix of Event Horizon, The Descent and Alien. The acting, production design and story were all great. The film is very tense and creepy. I find it weird that I've never even heard of the movie, but have to say it was well worth the watch if you like the sci-fi horror genre.

Psychology Behind Death Stranding-UNR
DISCLAIMER: As soon as someones says this has already been said I'll delete the post.
Recently I've been in contact with some kind of "model" taken by some psychologists due to some sad motives, and every time that I heard something it started to remind more and more about Death Stranding.
The Hero's Journey:
This is one is very obvious, Sam is the main protagonist of the game, he must go through a long journey to become a hero and etc. But there are some little aspects hidden. The Hero's Journey is not only about a especial powerful guy that goes to a high castles, kill dragons and save pretty princess, it can also be about you, a normal person that wakes up early every day, eat a common breakfast, go to your job, try to have friends, gets your car broken, argue with your partner, take care of your sons and/or daughters, this kind of thing. This journey is cyclic, just as Sam's routine: he gets the packages, goes to the place where they need to be delivered, fight some enemies and if he dies it will start all over again. Also, talking about enemies...
Sam's Shadows:
A shadow can represent something that you dislike or something that makes you very bad deep inside. Norman Reedus is mainly known by playing the cast of Daryl Dixon, a character well known by don't trusting other people and never getting attached to them (we can see resemblances with Sam). If we consider that "Sam's Shadow" is getting connected with other people because of unknown reasons, this would explain why he refuses Amelie/Bridget request to "reconnect America", why he doesn't like using the handncuffs and also why the main threat of the game are BTs, "shadow people tryng to grab him" In this case he wouldn't end up as being a savior or humanity last hope, he's just the right guy for the job that must go trough this misfortune to overpass his situation. Which brings us to...
Hades:
Hades is the equivalent to hell in the greek mythology, but, in this case, Hades can be interpreted as some life adversity (loss of someone, sickness, financial problems.) every olympic hero that went to hades came back stronger. Cliff is someone that is very connected to Hades, in the flashbacks he seems to be some kind of scientist, but in the trailers he is always connected to this hades place, but now looking more like a soldier/demon than anything. During the game we may see all main characters going through some kind of bad situation just to become stronger.
Tl;dr: Death Stranding MAY have inspiration by The Jungian Model of Psyche and can be about Ludens going through a simulation to evolve.
Is BB a boy or girl-UNR
Is BB a baby boy or girl? I heard some say it's a boy but there was also a theory that it's face resembles Amelie's. Also it's eyes are brown/orange almost like Mads/cliffs eyes in the second trailer. But the baby doll that has the missing leg and cross on it's stomach had blue eyes like Norma reedus/sam it also had a broken eye socket, the baby winks a lot and Norman has a weird bump under his left eye. Who exactly is the BB?
Also side note Iv noticed the BB is very small. Rewatch the first trailer and BB is ridiculously small that you could fit it in your palm, newborns are usually bigger.
Am I baby?

Has anyone else seen the movie “Dark Harbor?”-UNR
It stars Alan Rickman and Norman Reedus. There’s an affair, a murder, and a twist ending. I watched it recently on YouTube and it wasn’t good but I had a good time watching it and was genuinely surprised by the ending. I think it would be a good movie for the podcast. I feel like Jason and June would have a lot of fun with it.

Justice League - A DCU Show-UNR

Superman: Anson Mount
Wonder Woman: Olivia Wilde
Lois Lane: Rachel Ferguson
Aquaman: Norman Reedus
Flash (Wally): KJ Apa
Green Arrow: Boyd Holbrook
Black Canary: Katheryn Winnick

What The Show Would Look Like:
First third of S1 focuses on the League (now just the Trinity) dealing with how the world has changed since their heyday (with events from Titans, DP, etc.), and dealing with these problems without the same sized team they did before. They’re eventually faced with a major threat (Amazo) that they know they may need help facing, and it ends on a cliffhanger where the Trinity is left in a position where they don’t know whether or not they’ll defeat this foe.
Second third opens with Lois Lane embarking on a mission to bring the full League back together to stop Amazo and save the Trinity. The next few episodes would focus on individual characters, flashbacks to past experiences with the League, and their meeting with Lois.
1.6: Lois Lane
1.7: Aquaman
1.8: The Flash
1.9: Green Arrow and Black Canary
1.10: Martian Manhunter
