Long story short, I started The Walking Dead back in 2010 like everyone else and loved it. I stopped watching after Season 5 for reasons I honestly can't remember. In 2023, I suddenly felt the urge to catch up after years away. I got as far as mid-Season 10 before dropping off again, but now I’m finally 14 episodes away from finishing Season 11. I just wanted to say, I’ve been really enjoying the show, even after Rick’s exit. Part of me is genuinely impressed with how they managed to keep things interesting with Daryl as the lead. And while there are definitely fewer characters I care about now, I'm still having a good time. I plan on continuing with the spin-offs (no Fear the Walking Dead, though). I’ve heard the reception is mixed, but hey, between my love for zombie apocalypses and a wave of nostalgia, I’m back in. Plus, seeing Norman Reedus in Ballerina reminded me just how much I used to love this franchise.
