Ballerina plot hole question-UNR

There are 2 scenes that I am really having trouble with understanding in Ballerina.

1. Why did a random Cult member attack Ballerina if there is supposed to be peace between them? Like he came out of nowhere and tries to kill her. Neither of them knew each other and he just happens to be in the Cult which killed her father which reminds her of her purpose to find them and get revenge?

2. Why was Daniel Pine (Norman Reedus) not killed by the Continental after the fight with the Cult? I am pretty sure he killed people. Ballerina and Pine were knocked out a block away from each other. She was taken by Continental and the other Cult people were killed but Pine is in some hospital somewhere alive at the end of the movie.

Can someone please explain? Thank you.
