I found out about this subreddit thanks to a podcast I listen to called Checkpoint Radio. This past week one of them went on a crazy rant about how Konami and Kojima may be in on the whole thing. You can find it here.

The only reason I kind of started to beleive it...is that now Kojima, Del Toro and Norman Reedus are all set to appear at the game awards this week. Seems like an awfully big coincidence.
