I think both lyrics and the video are hinting to death theme and a Death Stranding connection. The man killed the woman (maybe his wife) and regrets this. In the begining of the video she is heading towards a light. The famous death experience. And he goes behind her. Maybe a way to convey the the necessity to repair the mistake that is so big that goes beyond even death. But if this is related to DS I believe that he suicided, found hinself in a post death life and saw an oportunity to repair his mistakes, being forgiven. But she hates him due to the treason, despite still loving him for all that they lived together. I think the man simbolizes Norman Reedus' character and the woman Norman's character wife. I think the music and the "wife" will be showcased in the Death Stranding E3 2017 trailer. But I might be reaching here...
