after watching the 2nd trailer i think some themes in this game will be : unconscious collective, predetermined destiny controlled by some transcendental law. I think the phrase "cut the cord" will be pretty relevant in the meaning of this game. You see changes in both norman reedus's character and the Hannibal mad's character after the cord is cut, giving what they were attached to free will. While reedus is holding the baby he is connected, both physically and emotionally, just a connection on all levels, but when the cord is severed a look of curiosity comes on his face. What will this life he was once attached to on an infinite number of level do with its freedom? This is also tragic due to the simple fact the cord was disconnect too early too survive on its own. Hence the little pill shaped chamber the baby is in. And as we see with mads mikkelsen's character he uses his connection which seems far less natural then that of norman and the baby's to cause destruction. As for the 5 figures in the sky above the sea, it seems that they are the transcendental figures i talked about and they have severed their connections with the world. And the world of the games takes place after they abandoned us, or are they just watching to see what we become?
