If you could make your own water monster movie, what would it be about and who would your cast be?-UNR
Can be about any kind of water monster; can be a real animal (sharks, crocodiles, orcas, etc) or a fictional monster.
Here's mine.
Story: A group of university scientists are on an excursion to the Florida Everglades for to research plants for a project. When their boat's engine breaks down miles outside of civilization, they're forced to fend for themselves when a thirteen-foot alligator decides to prey on them.
Cast
- Zendaya as Clarissa Cole: a student who goes on the project to accompany her professors. She is the sole survivor of the movie, the one who ultimately defeats the alligator.
- John Lithgow as Dr. McGrath: the scientist leading the expedition. He is the alligator's first victim.
- Eiza Gonzalez as Dr. Sanchez: one of the other scientists on the expedition. She's the alligator's second victim.
- Norman Reedus as Eric Drake; a park ranger in the Everglades who discovers the stranded scientist, but then gets killed himself. He's the alligator's third victim.
- Samuel L. Jackson as Dr. Johnson; another scientist aboard the expedition. He sacrifices himself to save Clarissa. He is the alligator's 4th and final victim.
The scene where Daryl finds Merle-UNR
I’m rewatching for the zillionth time and find this scene so touching and well done when Daryl finds his dead brother and has to fight him while being so abruptly distraught with grief. Norman Reedus is an incredible actor.

DS2 Trailer - New Details Noticed [No Spoilers]-UNR
The Gun:
I saw someone say that the pistol Fragile got shot within the trailer was a new sleeker design, but it's not actually. It's the same design as the Bridges Corpse Disposal Team had at the beginning of DS1.
Fragile's black ink coming from her eye:
Black ink from the eye was only present in DS1 when Sam was in a nightmare scene with Cliff. And those nightmare scenes had the same aesthetic as the scene we see in the DS2 trailer: Black ink from the eye + fire & embers. Nightmare scenes in DS1 were hellish warscape scenes (just like in the DS2 trailer) and had a lot of fire and embers, cliffs guns literally would form from embers.
New Robots Holding Lethal Weapons:
The robots in the trailer are holding lethal assault rifles. Some are holding a smaller-looking version of the lethal assault rifle which is most likely the hand gun pistol which only had a lethal version in the game (besides the anit-BT pistol.)
Sam:
When Sam was shirtless in DS1 & DS1 trailer he had the Q-pid on him. In the DS2 trailer he is shirtless without the Q-pid. Maybe less connecting in this game? Kojima did say that this game was going to be "nostalgic for players of DS1 but also be different to attract new users to the game" in the most recent episode of his Spotify podcast "Brain Structure" ft. Norman Reedus
Theory:
Maybe the private corporation "APAK" is a weapons manufacturer / the Military-Industrial Complex in this universe? They have these new killer robots with lethal weapons. Perhaps another Kojima-esque theme?

I’m only maybe an hour or two in, and my face has melted completely off. My jaw is on the floor. I can’t even describe the emotions I just went through and I have no idea what’s even happening and for some reason that doesn’t matter at all.
This game is straight up horrifying. And beautiful. When that giant shadow thingy showed up in the sky I lost it, wtf is this game? Oh damn is they Norman Reedus butt? Hell yeah.

I'M GLAD I REPLAYED THE GAME FOR THE DIRECTOR'S CUT BECAUSE I RECOGNIZED BB'S THEME INSTANTLY.
Let's all fucking deep dive on the trail, shall we?
It seems, hilariously depressingly, Lou dies as an infant and... becomes a BB BT? Or perhaps BBB: Beached Bridge Baby. They also gain sick Eldritch powers I guess with those octopus tentacles.
We are going to get a BT TAR SUBMARINE HOME BASE!? Hopefully it's the case because that looks sick as hell, and isn't just a setpiece.
One of our new antagonists seem to be... corporations! Which is fun! Enough governments lets fuck up Bezos.
Troy Baker is back with a god damn electric guitar so I'm definitely looking forward to Higgs being... whatever the hell that's about. A BA? Bridge Adult, using all his own organs to do Dooms things?
Sam looking good with the Silver Fox look. Really sets him apart from looking just like Norman Reedus.
Potential story at the start there is perhaps Fragile was babysitting before Sam's home was attacked?
I hope the game takes place in Canada because I think that would be funny with all the desert imagery.

If there's a sequel, I actually hope there will be a new protagonist-UNR
And not just because I think Sam's story feels concluded and he deserves some peace and rest. I also found Norman Reedus to be by far the worst actor out of the entire cast. No offense to him as a person, he seems nice and down-to-earth enough. But in every single cinematic it was jarring to me how everyone else was acting circles around him. He has a very limited range and even with a closed-off and stoic character like Sam Bridges catering to that, the performance still fell flat. Admittedly, he didn't really have any opportunities to show off his acting chops, like the amazing emotional turn Tommie Jenkins as Die Hardman took. But even compared to similarly restrained characters like Fragile, the difference is pretty big. Fragile has subtle emotional queues, little movements of the mouth and face, etc. Sam/Reedus just stands around like he wandered onto the wrong set and has no idea what's going on. The voice acting was equally monotone. It'd be unfair to compare him to veteran voice actors like Troy Baker, but nearly all of his lines sounded like he really didn't want to be there.
Am I being too harsh, an idiot who can't grasp the masterful subtlety of Reedus' performance, or do other people feel the same way?

I just finished Death Stranding for a second time...-UNR
This is easily in my Top 5 games of all time. The ending has me thinking though...
Norman Reedus claims that Kojima is working on the "second one." A lot of clues are pointing to this being true. Kojima has even confirmed Elle Fanning as being the protagonist of his upcoming project. The obvious answer would be her playing Lou (BB) as an adult.
What confuses me though is that the Death Stranding has ended. When Sam and Lou walk out of the incinerator at the end of the game, the rain does not cause time to move forward, and the rainbow shown is right-side up. This would mean the end of timefall, BT's; all of it.
So what even would be the premise of a sequel to Death Stranding?

I always wonder how long I could survive on my own in the zombie apocalypse. Bob wondering the woods alone is one of my favorite openings in the whole show. So in that spirit, let’s say the apocalypse has gone down, you have no one left, you’re alone with nowhere obvious to go and nothing specific to do. Where do you go? What do you do? What non-obvious items might you bring? What strategies do you use to survive the journey on your own? To make it interesting we’ll say it’s been a few years so no more driving. For me, I’d bring a crowbar and a life straw water filter. I’d shadow the highway and use cars to sleep safely at night, and I’d track down Norman Reedus to run in circles and watch South Park together.

Hideo Kojima drops through a new post on his personal Twitter account that we will see Death Stranding 2 during the celebration of The Game Awards 2022 gala. The sequel to the first Kojima Productions game was confirmed by actor Norman Reedus at the end of May of this year, although at the moment we have not had the opportunity to see any images of the project. It should be noted that the title was mentioned in a recent leaked document from Sony, so it does not seem unreasonable to us to think that the first trailer for it is close.

I'll need to block this subreddit after I post this, but I have to just say what I have in mind after touching the game for the first time.-UNR
Ever since the game got announced, it caught my attention. The hands working on it, the cast, the presentation, it all got me interested.
However due to pricing and my affordability (Mainly because of PS4) I thought I would never try it.
Along the road, without spoiling myself (fortunately), I have seen so much opinions about the game and none of them were good, which did not help at all.
Yesterday I ended up seeing a very affordable discount for PC and even then I resisted, thinking that with how graphicly intense it seemed on the promotional material years ago, my PC might not even run it good enough, that maybe evrything would be slowed down and make my PC struggle.
I felt something in my gut and I just gave in, thinking that either way, the amount I'm paying is not too little but still the loss is minor.
I just spent one hour in the game, and I just couldn't stop having these weird goosebumps. The cutscenes had some small loss in smoothness but it was not all the time, and when I played it, the game ran on a decent speed, and it just made me realize how good must it be optimized for my PC to play it with little to no issue.
The scenery was fantastic.
The music was lovely and so well placed. I loved how it played while I was walking and the idea of showing the name of the song and artists was very much appreciated, we need more of this.
The worldbuilding, although handled a bit weirdly due to how much exposition people dump on you, still got me hooked, wanting people to just keep talking.
The threat and its impact felt very impressive and dreadful at the same time, and the visuals for it? Brilliant. I could not be drooling more about these rainbow events.
One aspect I remember a lot of people criticizing the game were repeating a lot was that the gameplay was bad, and granted, I barely played and the little I played could not reflect on whatever opinion I have as the most I did was move on foot and did not even reach a combat situation, but so far, it was not bad at all.
The balance mechanic, one a lot of people complained about, felt natural, and like it brought something new to the gaming environment. Yes, it can be stressful to fall, but the game gives you the tools to prevent it, and the controls for it were pretty easy to manage. I liked it, and if its something I can attribute to the identity to the game, I can pretty much call it being part of its uniqueness.
I never liked The Walking Dead, so Norman Reedus was never an attractive factor to the game, I even disliked his TWD character, because it looked like a token attractive cool guy that was there to have the boys wanting to be him, and the girls drooling over him. And although his display of acting and dialogue in this still need time for me to form an objective opinion, it did not feel bad, I felt his delivery could have been expressed in better ways, however, maybe how he expresses himself lies completely on his character and emotional mind, and I'm hoping his way of communicating evolves over time.
The cinematic approach of the cutscenes and certain "on rails" parts felt so well done, the sound design is great, and this is just another piece that proves how Videogames can very well be experienced as an art form and how you can also play a Videogame not to play but to experience.
And I get it, gameplay is a fundamental part of videogames and people always expect smooth, fast paced, action packed movements, and even if I do not get to experience that in this game, its overall experience already won me over but I still have hopes for the game to keep surprising me.
And this is all coming from someone that very much craves that high speed adrenaline action in videogames, hell, first person shooters are always my first choice in how I enjoy a game.
I played, spent lots of time in and loved so much games of that nature. Doom 2016 and Eternal, Destiny, Call of Duty ( And yes, I enjoyed Advanced Warfare and Black ops 3 a lot due to movement ), Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Dying Light Overwatch, Apex Legends, I'll add Fortnite too even if its third person, etc etc.
Also non first person games like Devil May Cry, Dark Souls 1 & 3 (Didn't like 2), Bloodborne, Hades, and I could name a lot more but my point is, action and adrenaline are my thing, and even though I'm not that good of a gamer, they are what I enjoy the most.
But I also enjoy movies a lot, series, short films, and if they have a good story and/or presentation, I drool all over them, and this game just clicks with me in so many ways.
Unfortunately I will need to keep the game on hold for the time being, and it is a shame, because it got me hooked in so many senses, and I want to see more of this in the industry. I know lots of us crave the action, and maybe the game having a lot of travel time could have been a difficult decision, but I find disheartening how can people attribute this game to the industry's downfall when the blatant examples of that are somewhere else.
Anyway, that was just me trying to vent, and to show a small perspective that can maybe give you all some insight that maybe you are not alone in liking this game ( Assumming this subreddit is full of fans and not of haters ).
Hopefully I can direct some time to play it even more and eventually come to this subreddit to share more of my appreciation.

(Fear) The Walking Dead: The Next Chapter [SPIN-OFF concept]-UNR
I think AMC is going to announce a brand new spin-off in ~2-3 years which is going to be called: The Walking Dead: The Next Chapter. The series could be ~10 episodes and it might be just one season.
The cast will most likely include:

Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon
Melissa Mc Bride as Carol Peletier
Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee
Danai Gurira as Michonne Grimes
Lennie James as Morgan Jones

One thing that is basically confirmed due to high demand is that Rick is going to reunite with Daryl, Carol, Judith, RJ, Maggie, Negan and Morgan. I just do not see this happening in any of these spin-offs. The only solution I can think of is creating a new spin-off which will include all popular characters from all shows. I also think they really wanted to end The Walking Dead because there were too many characters.
I think they have decided to continue Fear The Walking Dead because it is still profitable for AMC. I also think that creating a spin-off for Morgan Jones will not be profitable for AMC. That’s why he is stuck in Fear.
Fear will probably end with a larger season 8 (taking 2 years) or season 9.
I also think that Alycia Debnam-Carey could join The Walking Dead: Dead City for season 2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan invited her in July on twitter to join Dead City and it’s already confirmed we are getting a season 2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the type of guy who actually means it and he definitely would have called her to ask her if she would like to join the show. ADC could also join the show in the final 2 or 3 episodes.
I think that the Rick & Michonne spin-off will only be 1 or 2 small seasons and that the other spin-offs could get more seasons / episodes.
We should also expect a couple of familiar faces in the Daryl spin-off. I have honestly no idea who that could be. I’d expect a small return of Melissa Mc Bride and other than that I have no idea. Jadis, Morgan? I don’t know.

It’s a pretty great feat for a show to make it 11 season and with multiple spin-offs. What actors do we think their time in TWD universe will forever be their defining role?-UNR
For me, it’s got to be Norman Reedus. He isn’t done with TWD after this series ends I know and I do think he can have a great and long career ahead after it, but I believe Daryl Dixon will be his defining role.
Again, he’s played Daryl for 11 seasons and has been one of the faces of the series. He has a pretty strong fan base and following because of this show alone.

Daryl Makes Everything Amazing-UNR
Norman Reedus is a freaking genius. Every scene with him, he gives so much to us. A LOT of the time, he's silent and we just have to figure it out by expression, but the scenes where he talks are mindblowing. I was just watching S3E6 'Hounded' where he talks to Carl (who just lost and had to shoot Lori) about his mom dying. He tells it so casually, but Norman Reedus has so much emotion in his movements and expressions, it's crazy!! The exposition of his character feels so earned as a result. God I love Daryl.

Which characters do you hope to see return in the future spinoffs?-UNR
I know that a lot of fans are saying they're sick of seeing so many new spinoffs being announced and more characters returning but this is a decade long, multi platform franchise that is so beloved and its going to be hard saying goodbye to so many characters.
With the Daryl Dixon show, Dead City and potentially other spinoff shows coming up, which current characters in TWD world do you want to see appear again in the future?
Imo I still think Carol and Ezekiel should have their own spinoff, she's leading lady material and one of the most beloved characters after ten years straight and Khary Payton has won several words for playing Ezekiel, their show would be really successful.
I think Lydia should return in either the Daryl show or Dead City, the actress is just too good to leave behind and we haven't known Lydia for that long.
Finally, if Fear does end, then characters like Morgan, Madison and Dwight should definitely return in some capacity someday, the actors who play Morgan and Madison are some of the best actors on TV today and would be great assets to the spinoffs.
I know Daryl Dixon is probably the most popular character of all time on TWD but I feel his spinoff needs a leading lady or at least another main character from TWD to carry it, I don't think Norman Reedus is enough to carry his own show all on his own.

I think most of you have forgotten this potential spoiler about the finale-UNR
Remember that CRM cosplayer who was a Rick look alike? He took pictures on set during the filming of the final episodes. There was a picture of him with Norman Reedus and one of himself in CRM uniform in front of the Alexandria gate or somewhere in the woods (don’t remember that clearly). And his cosplay costume (the CRM uniform) was very similar to the ones we saw in TWD:WB and FTWD. And it looked too good for a cosplay costume imo.
In addition to that Andrew Lincoln was in Atlanta (or somewhere nearby) and was also meeting with Norman Reedus while filming the last episodes. And he was there only for a few days.
The way that Rick double postet all those pictures so openly makes me thinking that he did this on purpose to let us theorize if this might be a hint or not.
Weird coincidences. They obviously giving us a Rick post credit scene. The producers know they will f*ck up if they dont.

The Walking dead actors if they were in a Red Dead Redemption movie.-UNR
A bit about him:
John Marston is a masterful and experienced gunman, sharpshooter, rider and hunter. He is a rugged survivalist and knows life as a fight for survival, which is something he does admirably.
There are two very different versions of John Marston in the two Red Dead Redemption games. While we meet John as a sour and broken man at the beginning of the first game, RDR2 offers a glimpse into John’s upbringing in the Van der Linde gang.
Reckless and emotionally distant from his family, young John is nothing like his more mature self. For this, I think Norman Reedus would be the right fit for the role. His role in TWD pretty much has the same moral transformation that John Marston goes through in the games, so it would come naturally for Reedus to play this role in a live-action RDR2 movie.

Getting Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Dutch Van Der Linde would be good as well. Dutch is the leader of the gang/family who is a very likeable character and is looked up to by the rest of the gang, but slowly descends into madness from being pressured by the modernisation of the wild-west smoking out outlaws, their lack of and hunger for a final satisfying score and Micah Bell manipulating him into thinking his gang is against him.
I thought of Jeffrey because that's the reverse of Negan from TWD.

Sadie Adler is a recent widow who came to the gang a broken women, who ends the game avenging her husband by killing the murders in an epic shoot out. She is good friends with the main character, Arthur (who I'm not too sure about in terms of who to pick to act him out) as they can both relate to being the muscle of the family.
And Steven Ogg for Micah Bell. Micah is someone who is important to the character arc of Dutch as he steers him crazy by slowly convincing Dutch that only he has his back. Micah is someone who is ruthless and would do anything to survive, including being a rat.
What about other characters? Do you guys agree?

"There are no facts, there are only interpretations." - MGS & SH Theory-UNR
Spoilers from MGSV, Silent Hill franchise and Remedy's games.
I'm starting to elaborate some new theories in my mind and I wanted to share with you some ideas and see your feedback. Not all may be related between them.
- As MGSV states "There are no facts, there are only interpretations." But, since there are so many possibilities inside the game, which one to choose and use to start to interpret everything?
Which one of the following do we choose? (Feel free to add more, but these are just examples):
- The whole MGS happens in a simulation.
- MGSV happens in Venom's mind, an unreliable one.
- Read its story and meta story straight, and leave everything else outside: Big Boss' meme is created, seeks for revenge, some events leads the world to believe Big Boss is a demon.
- Go full Pro Ruse: an AI is messing with everything.
Since it's quite evident that Silent Hill's world is taking over MGS' world (will see if one day we find out why), I think we should take everything in MGSV from both perspectives (MGS and SH). If we ever have a numbered continuation to V or we ever get to experience a game or movie that explains what really happened in the years that lead to Metal Gear 1, I highly doubt all this Silent Hillish things that take place during V are mentioned.
We should consider that GZ/MGSV happens in a different timeline (being the events real, imagined or whatever). Here are the ideas that circle around my head lately:
- After finishing Silent Hill 3 for the first time in more than a decade and understanding, unlike the first or second time back then in 2003, all the plot and symbolism, I'm starting to see a lot of similarities between this game and MGSV (even MGS as a whole). As contradictory as it sounds ('cause of the "interpretations" quote): there are certain things that we could agree are core to MGSV (beyond plot, meta, etc): reflections, memories, identity.
- While Zero's creation of Big Boss' meme, something went wrong within Venom's mind and it got splitted into two: Venom and Skull Face. Everything turns into a nightmare from time to time.
- Venom/Skull Face and Heather/Alessa are sides of the same coin. Venom and Heather are oblivious to their past and true selfs. Skull Face and Alessa hearts are filled with hatred after being burnt. Venom and Alessa (the true selfs, so to speak) were in a coma.
- There are many things that seem to be a constant in each MGS game (the main ones, at least) that repeats over and over again. Cycle of rebirth it's all over the place in Silent Hill 3.
So maybe the reason behind why Kojima chosed to merge MGS with SH goes deeper (story wise) than just 'cause they are two Konami's IPs. P.T. seems to be the nexus point, the gate that invades all those kinds of media backwards and forwards. We can see that, whatever is messing with those stories (games, TV series and movies) is going in circles. And in each return it "passes" through our reality and absorbs bits of its culture and leaves bits of MGS, SH and DS on that culture.
This takes me to Death Stranding (you will find connections to both MGS and DS on Silent Hill 3 church's pictures), which happens to experience SH's invasion and our reality invasion. I don't know why, but the inclusion of those collectibles doesn't quite fit there. I know that one of the things the game explores is to try to recover what people had before the Stranding, to share it with others. But the game spends too much time, even the characters, talking about our reality. The collectibles screens descriptions speak straight to the player and most of them are related to the actors/directors/composers that made the game, and related to stories or subjects that inspired Kojima while designing the story.
Let me use a more clear example: why does have DS promotional posters of the game itself inside the game (Luden Fans' place)? Why put ads of Norman Reedus tv shows? Why put a MGS Ground Zeroes promotional poster in the game itself? Why are those games so self aware of themselves and the works of the people involved in their creation? Why there's SH3 images inside MGS 3 (the very same ones that are on SH3's church and speak about god, time and paradise creation)?
In the same way, MGSV having elements from games that take place later in the timeline are just there as a bonus? Being able to use Sniper Wolf's skin with Quiet is just a reward? Paraphrasing ItalianJoe, why messing so much with the player's internal timeline of events? Are you still thinking that they're just bonuses? Why include a mission in Ground Zeroes where you have to recreate events from future games?
Did Kojima used SH3's images in MGS3 just as an easter egg? Was all this planned since 2004? While I was writing this I thought that, using the Venom is Chico and Paz is Quiet theory, is Chico in his own personal nightmare inside the town of Silent Hill, dealing both with what he did experience in his life up to the GZ events (what he did to Paz, etc) and what he was forced to experience in order to become Big Boss?
Also, since Remedy's Sam Lake involvement on DS and seeing how much the teaser for Alan Wake 2 resembles Silent Hill, could it be a confirmation of certain quantum calculation system involment? Remember that Remedy is connecting their videogames' worlds through something similar.

Norman Reedus by Norman Rockwell-UNR
Revising 2000s-era Marvel movies, both to tweak the movies themselves and incorporate them into an early MCU (Part 3, Ghost Rider)-UNR
The Ghost Rider movies. Two films which prove, if anything, that Nicolas Cage is a treasure and we absolutely don't deserve him.
But starring the walking, talking cartoon that is Mr. Cage isn't enough to make them great films, unfortunately.
- Ghost Rider 2007 is unironically a lot of fun. It embraces its campy, cheesy premise and the cast all bite into the material with plenty of enthusiasm. But the thin plot and missed opportunities to really dip into the Ghost Rider mythology hold it back.
- Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance can be a guilty pleasure courtesy of Nicolas Cage's absolutely unhinged performance and the more edgy, violent portrayal of the Rider. But just about everything else contributes to a painfully obnoxious slog.
So, it goes without saying there's a lot of room for improvement. Taking a look at a series of rewrites I've drafted which incorporate 2000s-era Marvel films into an early MCU, let's see what can be done for the Spirit of Vengeance.
Go ahead and take a look at the previous posts for context before moving forward.

The Cast
First things first, I thought I'd address something regarding the casting of the films.
I like Nicolas Cage. I think he did well with the material he was given, even if said material wasn't always up to snuff. However, there are actors I think could have handled the role of Johnny Blaze just as well as he did, if not better.
So, here's how I'll put it. In the event that Cage played the character and got the right material, cool. But if he didn't, here are two alternatives.
Between his knack for brutal, brooding antiheroes and his affinity for motorcycles, it stands to reason Reedus could carry the role of the tormented cyclist Johnny Blaze. Both during his more sympathetic, human moments, and during his transformation into the fiery punisher of the damned.
Between Red Hood, Batman, and Soldier Boy, Ackles is no stranger to the comic book medium. Not only does he have years of experience playing angsty leading men entangled in the affairs of demons and monsters, Ackles's real talent as a performer would definitely endear audiences to Johnny Blaze's plight.
In the event either of these castings took, Cage could still portray the spirit Zarathos (the demon who comprises Ghost Rider's other half). The appearance of Ghost Rider himself could perhaps correspond to what we saw in the movies, but in reverse.
- Starts off looking darker and more gruesome.
- Assumes a more neat and "classic" look once Johnny and Zarathos become truly one.

The Films
Jumping off the framework of the two films we have, and drawing more from the comics, the Ghost Rider series would proceed as follows.
GHOST RIDER
2007
In general, the plot of the film would follow that of the movie we saw.
But the overall tone, mythology and character dynamics would change.
For starters, take that PG-13 rating and bump it up to an R. The Ghost Rider mythos is dark, and I think a proper movie wouldn't pull its punches. Make Ghost Rider as much a horror movie as it's a supernatural action romp.
- More frightening depictions of Hell and its demons.
- Blackheart goes about in a human shape, but transforms into his true demonic form when he gains the Contract of San Venganza.
- Mephisto's human appearance has a little more in common with his comics counterpart. A red-and-black suit, rusty red hair, and fiery eyes when his powers are in use.
- Johnny Blaze's self-destructive life being portrayed as brutally honest as possible. Frequent injuries, alcoholism, and vivid nightmares of the infernal realms he's now tied to.
- No-holds-barred violence on the part of the Ghost Rider and his enemies. Show just how terrifyingly powerful he can be.
The characters, in turn, have more time to be fleshed out.
- Perhaps Roxanne knows all along that Johnny sold his soul to Mephisto. Her point of contention with Johnny is that he won't reach out for help, seemingly determined to bear his burden alone.
- Johnny Blaze has more than one "face to face" conversation with the demon lord Zarathos, a spirit of vengeance bound to him to form the Ghost Rider.
- Much like the dynamic between Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote, Zarathos frequently encourages Johnny to inflict violent punishment on any sinners in his wake.
- The pair are able to find common ground in making a stand against the Hell Lords, but it's clear they won't ever truly be friends
The conflict over the Contract of San Venganza plays out, with Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider hunting Blackheart and various minions. The final battle would likely be more dramatic, epic, with Carter Slade taking part in the fight against Blackheart and surrendering his portion of the Ghost Rider's power to help defeat the demon.
The movie ends very much as we saw, save for Roxanne and Johnny choosing to stick it out no matter what. Carter Slade rides into the distance, fading away as the new Ghost Rider's journey begins.
GHOST RIDER: SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE
2012
A more drastic departure, centered on Ghost Rider attempting to protect the young half-demon vigilantes Daimon and Ana Helstrom from the forces of Hell.
By now, Johnny and Zarathos has worked out a steady arrangement and have clear boundaries set in confronting evil. But the line between punishment and protection gets blurry when they meet the Helstroms. Two runaways with demonic heritage, who've tried to make the most of their "gift" and dispatch evil where they find it.
Eventually, Ghost Rider is forced to become their defender when two parties converge on the twins with their own ends.
- The agents of the Angel of Vengeance, Zadkiel. Led by the sorcerous cult leader Deacon, they wish to destroy the Helstroms and prevent them from falling into the hands of their father.
- Said father is Marduk Kurios, a Hell Lord. Having sired the Helstrom children, he is currently hunting them with the purpose of corrupting them and using their power to unleash a demonic invasion of Earth. His hunt is led by another half-demon named Ray Carrigan, AKA Blackout.
Ghost Rider is caught in the middle of the conspiracy, but receives aid from a priestly demon hunter named Moreau. Eventually, as danger closes in, Moreau reveals he is in fact a repentant Zadkiel. Zarathos recognizes him, having once been an angel himself before they both fell from grace.
Working together with Ghost Rider, he dispatches his renegade cultists. Revealing himself to have a fallen angel form much like Zarathos, but marked by blue flames.
Ghost Rider slaughters his way through Blackout and Marduk's other followers until he faces down the demon lord himself. After a destructive battle, Ghost Rider binds Marduk and leaves him to the mercy of his children, who send him back to Hell.
Having performed a deed in service to mankind, Zadkiel ascends to Heaven. Johnny Blaze parts ways with the Helstroms and wishes them both well, returning to Roxanne in their Houston home.

So, that's the general flow of the plot. Now, here's various little easter eggs and lore bits that would tie the series into a larger Marvel universe.
1: Hell and the Dream Dimension
In the process of mastering his bond with Zarathos, Johnny performs a ritual in which he traverses the Astral Plane and journeys past Hell, into the borders of the Dream Dimension.
Hints are provided of various cosmic entities, including the sinister Nightmare.
2: Sorcerers
Deacon is implied to be a former acolyte of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, before he fell into fanaticism.
