Hello everyone, hopefully we will get another trailer next week. Before that happens I'm going to post a theory, I was thinking about a lot lately - the connection between Norman's scar, whale intestines, black umblical cords and white umblical cords.
Umblical cord is the bridge between mother and the baby. Host has to gather nutrients from outside, so she can feed the fetus. Finally fetus grow its own organs. Then after we are detached from our mother (birth), we lose our external connection and become an individual body. This means we already grow an intestine and we have to gather our own nutrients. Intestine helps you digest alive beings and extract the nutrients out of it just like the function of umblical cords. We excrete the undigested material (alive being you eat are dead material/feces). In other words intestines are inner umblical cords so we can gather nutrients from outside just like our mothers did. Without killing other living beings (fruits, vegetables or animals) and gathering their nutrients we are not able to maintain our physical bodies or maintain our species. After puberty till senility our bodies are programmed to create egg or sperm, so we can replace ourselves before we die. Our intestines break and use these nutrients to feed the egg or sperm to create a strong potential. Like you can see without death, life is not possible. However death is just another cycle and have its own balance, life can continue without compromising any species along the way. After we die, bacteria in our intestines that used to break down nutrients from other live beings starts to digest us. Therefore we can say that death starts at colon and it digests your skin, organs and system until you become a skeleton.
Now whales are connected with black umblical cords and at the second trailer we saw lots of intestines on the tank (I just noticed there is also a skull in front of the tank, it looks super morbid and very creepy). I would say just like vocal cord parasites in MGSV:TPP, Kojima is creating another scientific reason behind something that seems impossible in real life. We already know that there are two big organizations; Bridges and Blackhole - it is highly likely that one of them find a way towards immortality and reviving the death (and it is linked to new death mechanics Kojima talks about), probably it was the needed due to harsh living conditions and environment. Whales could be subjects behind this research and in order to succeed they could remove their intestines (just like Norman). If you noticed dead whales in first trailer teleported to the second trailer, they are still dead but after water (or liquid) levels rises you can see real whale umblical cords moving right under Mads feet as if they are swimming. Now about white umblical cord and artificial womb - I believe it creates a new kind of human that doesn't need to eat something because earth in Death Stranding doesn't look like you can find something to eat at the first place, and Kojima would never avoid this kind of plothole. Natural mating ends up with creating a baby with an intestine so it can feed itself from outside sources but this time it looks like baby without an intestine is born artificially and I'm just saying Norman has a huge scar where his intestine should be.
Now if you want to expand the arguement - the reason behind removing intestines could be due to maintaining physical body, so decomposition would stop (and dead people won't look dead).
I'm sure Death Stranding is coming to finish what PT started:
Norman Reedus - check
Guillermo Del Toro - check
Ludvig Forssell - check
Multiple Dimensions - check

Umblical Cords - check
Possesed Toys - check
Dead People - check
Handprints - check
Red light - check
Haunting Place(s) - check
Creepy Athmosphere - check
Death Stranding hovewer won't be just your average horror game but it will also back up horror elements (handprints, alive dead people, ghosts, creepy sounds, things appearing out of nowhere etc.) with science. If any of this turns out to be true, game is able to present lots of creepy visual and scenario. We are craving for content so I'm associating this game with things like swimming skeleton whales, Norman staying underwater forever because he could be already dead, decayed looking heroine lover, floating skeletons, skeleton limbs (like blown off arms) still chasing you, fish flopping forever on land, slowly decaying Norman etc. Can't wait to see the next trailer, what excites me the most is we won't be able to only judge the trailer on its own but we will also evaluate the scene, character(s) and setting based on previous trailers which will definetely give us more insights about this game. Expect the unexpected !!!!!!
Lyrics, philosophy and meaning behind this unkown piece of art feels so complete. We are the timeless energy that keeps coming. Deep inside - as living beings - our purpose is the same. We are the hope for life, future, creation, unity, fun and love. We are life, we are miracles, we are the dream of God and we are part of that first mysterious spark of life. Without us, without life, without spark - universe is nothing but a dark empty void with nothing inside. I associate this void with madness, emptiness and death. We achieve to exist inside death - the void of darkness and nothingness. Everything in universe is connected, our DNA is made up of stardust. We are the miracles of the process started after the first spark in this darkness and nothingness. We are the sun, the stars, oceans, the wind, the air, sky, flowers, the heartbeat that starts in our mothers womb. We are not a citizen, number or a person. We are not our names, professions, clothes, thoughts, emotions, past, habits, addiction. Life is not a war, its a form of art. If you focus on that truth, you will eliminate everything subjective in your life. Your goal, ideal, vision or identity should depend on that one and only thing that is real. Thats what we are all living for. Just like life we are not accepting to exist inside darkness and nothingness. We want colors, others, warmth, laughter, love and music. Have a nice day :)
